Chapter 3

After coming from school, Manvi tried talking to zee about school's incident but zee would not talk to her meanwhile Tanisha too came, she explained how zee panicked seeing his new art teacher and fainted...when he woke up in school's infirmary, he started crying for Manvi and ran to janitor's closet and locked himself there, many teachers tried to make him unlock the door but he didn't listen and was constantly saying he wanted Manvi...the new art teacher became nervous seeing all those things but Tanisha had consoled him that it was just his panic attack. After Tanisha went from there Manvi again tried talking to zee but that time too he didn't say anything...

It was after 10 at night when Manvi decided to talk to Dr. Nikhil and talking to him always helps her, she had a small smile playing on her lips...she knew he is wonderful man always wanting to help others, he has given her day off tomorrow though tomorrow was Sunday but still Manvi had her shift in hospital...

"I know Dr. Nikhil but I am worried about him"

"Thank you so much...will see you on Monday...bye take care goodnight Dr. Nikhil"

Zee wanted to go outside but he won't go with anyone except Manvi so now she had her day off and she seriously wanted Zee to go out and play with other kids...may be tomorrow can bring new change in their life.

Now after talking to Dr. Nikhil, Manvi went to zee room only to find him sleeping with his book on his chest, she quietly removed book and switched off the lights and walked away from his room leaving the door open for cautious purpose

It was Sunday noon and zee was running around the house avoiding Manvi or you can say Manvi was chasing zee...and this chasing was because zee clearly refused to go to park with Manvi and didn't want to make any new friends.

"C'mon zee you will get to meet kids of your age and will get to make new friends and also you were bugging me to go out before"

"it was only for that time and now I don't want to go to park...there are many people there and you know I don't like crowd" this time zee was one end of table and Manvi was at another end

"But zee don't you want to play with other kids...and it's good to know new people zee"

"No I won't go because they are not my type people"

"C'mon zee you will get to know even girls and you can get yourself a girlfriend" this time zee started laughing and Manvi watched him totally amused

"Manvi you lost your mind? Me and girls can never stay in one place...girls are the most brainless creature I have seen"

"You know I am too a girl" this time Manvi sat on nearby sofa totally tired "ok don't meet girls but there will be new people whom you may like"

"Why are you so adamant to make me go park?" zee asked sitting near her

"because I want you to have friends, I want you to play like other kids zee, I want you to have fun...till you don't try to know people you won't get to know that there are good people here who will like you even love you...there are people whom you can share your every secrets...there are people who are worth making friends even best friends...I am not saying to immediately make friends but at least try to talk to them and if you don't feel like you don't want them then leave them but at least try zee...please, for me...for your sweet caring loving beautiful mum "

Manvi knows zee have fear of people...she knows he hates changes but she also wants him to adapt these changes...she wants him meet new people and make him experience new things which he may be missing...she knows till he won't meet new people the fear which is residing in him will never fade away...he won't be confident and she wants him to stand in new environment without any fear,without having panic attack...yesterday's event left her thinking about it and she was determined to eliminate this fear from him...today may be a new day for everything

"Fine...I will go but if I feel uneasy I won't stay there even for a second...understand" Manvi nodded to him and hugged him

"Tell me again why I am here" zee asked Manvi for like tenth time in ten minutes

"Shut up zee, you have been sitting here for past half an hour why don't you go play with them"

Manvi and zee were sitting on a bench near them a group of kids were playing and she had repeatedly asked zee to go and play with them but zee won't even move from there...he constantly had scowl on his face, arms crossed and Manvi was pestering him to play with other kids

"Zee, c'mon kiddo, go play...don't become an old grumpy man"

"I don't like being here" zee snapped at her...Manvi clearly was not liking this behavior of zee but knows not to push him though...Manvi had always let zee do things he wished without pushing him into things he did not want to do and this time to she wants zee to go play with other kids but she doesnot want to force him...

"Fine you sit here I will bring us ice-cream" Manvi signed while zee only nodded

Manvi silently went from there...she is trying her level best to encourage zee to adapt new changes but guess she needs to do a lot of hard work, while zee sat there watching Manvi go...it's not that he do not want to make friends and play with them, it's the memories, fear to get hurt again stops him every time...for a 11 yr old boy zee was surely very matured...he have seen Manvi struggle to provide him everything...he have seen Manvi cutting slacks from her things so that she could provide him what he wanted...he have seen Manvi alone crying in the room not because everyone was against her but because after being kicked out and disowned by her own parents, the only hope she had to provide him facilities was lost...zee surely knows that he gives very hard time to Manvi but she never even uttered a word against it or even complained a bit of it...zee had a trust problem even he has now but only Manvi was one to break his all the walls...to make him feel loved and after living with her through these months he definitely knew he had got his angel...the angel his mother used to talk about

"Hey kiddo...why sitting here so lonely lonely" zee was brought back from his thoughts when an arm rested on his shoulder...he panicked suddenly with sudden foreign touch on him, he quickly got up from there and stared at the man in horror

"woah...woah...woah relax kiddo...don't get panicked, I won't harm you or anything, it's just that I saw you sitting here all alone so came to give you some company" the man stood up with his hand raised up to chest telling zee he means no harm...but zee won't stop panicking

"Where are your parents?? Your mum or dad or anyone you came here with??" the guy was now worried seeing zee like this

"get away from my son you brainless oaf" Manvi pushed that guy away from zee and glaring him, if looks could kill that man would be dead seven times...Manvi was coming back when she saw a guy in front of zee and he was panicking, she increased her pace and pushing him away from zee

The man looked at the girl standing in front of him in astonishment, she was half of his size and called him brainless oaf, he was not an oaf and surely not brainless...he smirked at her

"So this lil guy is your son?" clearly amused

"Yes"

"ok, and I am alien from Jupiter" Manvi looked at him as if he had grown an extra head...the guy was clearly well built, having chocolate brown eyes , sharp jaw and arrogant smirk on his face shouting he is only hot living being standing on earth' cocky much!!

"Look mister, my son does not like being touched or talked by strangers so you can leave" Manvi resting her hand on zee's shoulder and bring him closer to her

"My name is Virat...and I am no stranger sweetheart" Virat held his hand towards her but Manvi dismissed him angry on him for calling her sweetheart and also on her damn cheeks blushing at wrong time

"Yes you are a stranger"

"No"

"Yes"

"No" before Manvi could say zee pulled her back to him who while arguing with virat went near him standing just in front of him

"Manvi stop being so childish and lets go home"

"no... you can't go home now when I became your friend" Virat looked at zee who was looking at him totally surprised...he had never seen anyone coming to him again after seeing his panic attack mostly people would create a distance between them after they witness zee's panicking ...this was first time anyone had knowingly come to him and in some way he was happy

"No, you are not his friend" Manvi again pushed him away from zee

"Again who are you to say that...he can make friends with whomever he wants"

"I am his mum and I have every right " Manvi spoke proudly about being mum to a preteen and Virat noticed this, he had a small smile seeing how this girl was proud to be mum when girls of her age worry only about their looks...he was definitely mesmerized by her

"Manvi, I want to stay here with Virat" saying this zee had given a big shock to Manvi...she looked at her son who was minutes before grumping how he do not like new people or don't want to make any friends and now he is ready to spend time with a guy who is don't know how many times older to him but nonetheless Manvi agreed, at least it's a start.

"fine you can stay here with him" Virat noticed how with just one time Manvi agreed and also she had a huge smile on her face, hugging lil boy who was struggling to get away from her death grip...this girl was surely something else.

"Hi I am Zeeshan Sharma and this is my mum Manvi Sharma" zee with a low voice introduced himself and his mum to Virat

"Hi I am Virat Vadera" Virat extended his hand and zee took it surprising Manvi who was standing there with opened mouth and proudly looking at him.

Virat and zee were sitting on the bench talking well Virat was doing most of the talking with zee saying in between but for Manvi this was a huge step towards a new change...this day had brought a new hope in her life... a huge smile was spread on her face while she looked at her son talking with a stranger without any panic attack... Proud, love, care, amusement was clearly being seen in Manvi's eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Virat.
