Chapter 2.

"Remember I love you right and no one will hurt you"

"Yeah I know"

"C'mon zee cheer up...Tani is there you don't need to worry"

Zee was skeptical from the moment he woke up, something was making him worry and he even said this to Manvi...he knew something wrong is going to happen but could not point it...on the other hand Manvi was equally worried may be more than zee and she had reason too, zee is not a social kid, except Tanisha or her zee never talked to anyone nor even his age kids...he just keep things to himself but this morning when zee was not eating his breakfast then that made Manvi worry even more...breakfast was the only thing Zeeshan never skipped and in morning when Zee was not interested in breakfast was definitely a thing to worry...but thinking that this is just their imagination they dismissed it.

"Ok.. Zee go to your class...and if you don't feel good just call me and Tanisha is going to be there that means you don't have to worry...bye, have fun...take care"

"Bye Manvi"

Zee went to his class, there were other kids who were of his age or older to him...as usual he took his corner seat and blocked out rest of the class

"hey Zeeshan want to play football during break" a boy of zee's age asked him wanting to play but zee being anti-social refused him...many students tried to involve him in their plays, talks but zee never wanted it...zee was very sensitive to new people around him, and if he isn't comfortable which he is usually not makes him panic and when any stranger approaches him he just freaks out and that moment is become very difficult to control him...

It was mid-day and half of Zee's classes were over and only 3 classes were left...when he was in his thoughts, Tanisha came to his class with an older looking man behind her "class, let me introduce to Mr. Shah your new art teacher" each kid greeted him except Zeeshan... he never liked changes so he was not liking this teacher, he wanted his old Miss Sharma...he was feeling uncomfortable and now he wanted to go from here...looking at discomfort of zee Tanisha approached him

"Are you alright Zee?"

"I want to go home" zee said without any emotion

"Zee, Manvi must be busy this hour...you don't want to disturb her right, you know she will get worried if I called her and you don't want that right and also I am here no need to worry" Tanisha comforted zee but zee was no where near to that...he eventually agreed not to worry manvi so kept quiet and gave a weak smile to Tanisha.

"Kids Miss Sharma is not well so he will be taking her class from now on-wards" saying this Tanisha gave a encouraging smile and went off...

Zee did not like this, but he was struggling his best to stay there...something about this teacher reminded him those things which he did not want to remember not even after his death...the way teacher looked, the way he talked, the way he walks all reminded him of that man...suddenly Zeeshan started panicking...beads of sweats started forming on his fore-head but he was determined to stay calm...teacher who had no clue about zee's state though he was informed about all his students condition.

In middle of class when he was explaining about a piece of drawing, zee had a panic attack and started crying ...teacher had no clue so he went near him which only caused zee to panic more and butter knife in teacher's hand was not helping at all...seeing a knife in the teacher's hand zee had a horrible memory...those black days started flashing in front of his eyes...soon zee started shouting and when teacher wanted to hold him zee pushed him and ran in the corner ...hearing zee's cry Tanisha came and she went near him

"Zee, come here...no one will hurt you zee please come to me" Tanisha tried to talk to him but nothing was making him calm...he only needed one person...Manvi

Manvi after dropping zee in his school she went to hospital though it was not her shift still she went not wanting to be alone in house without zee, before she could go to changing room she met Dr. Nikhil on her way...she always had tiny crush on him though he is in his early thirties, he still have charms making him drool worthy...she once thought to ask him out but it was before Zeeshan came to her life but now nothing matters to her except zee...

"Manvi...how are you?? It's been quite a time" Dr. Nikhil asked her in his usual cheery tone...he always believed no matter what always smile'

"Hello Dr. Nikhil...I am fine just have been busy, you know about zee so yeah" Manvi smiled to him...he was the one who encouraged her to adopt Zeeshan as her son...Manvi liked him not because of looks but the way he thinks, his genuineness ...Nikhil never was close to any of his colleague except Manvi though she was not his colleague...

"Something is off Manvi...any problem??" Nikhil asked very concerned

"No there's no problem Dr. Nikhil, it's just I am worried about zee...though there are many improvements but still I think there is lot to do"

"I know Manvi...zee is very big responsibility but I also know that you love zee way too much to let anything come in-between and make you worry and as of zee then just have patient...that kid did not have a pleasant past...he needs love and time that's all"

"I know Dr. Nikhil and I am not saying I have any problem in fact this is nothing compare to the starting when I met zee...it's just I am worry about zee...about his childhood, I want him a normal childhood...I guess you are right I should not hurry...I should give some time" Manvi sounded stressed and the heavy feeling inside her heart was not helping her

"Don't worry Manvi, everything will be fine" Dr. Nikhil gave her a smile "I have to go now, will see you later...goodbye Manvi"

"Good bye Dr.Nikhil" Manvi smiled at him...talking to him always helped her

Manvi entered the staff room where all the nurses sit and relax...as she entered she ignored the jealous stares which was directly given to her...nurses those who were single were jealous of her because Dr. Nikhil wouldn't talk to anyone unless related to work but with manvi he was always friendlier...

"So Manvi Dr. Nikhil is always so buddy buddy with you" Sneha a nurse who had dreamt of perfect life with Nikhil

"I know right, Dr. Nikhil is very sweet no doubt I like him so much" Manvi knowingly said this making Sneha jealous

"Don't keep your hopes high Manvi, Nikhil does not take interest in younger girls"

"Oh my god, what are you 50" listening this Sneha went from there muttering beautiful words to Manvi, and she just laughed at that

Manvi was busy now, it was almost mid-day and zee's half of the classes were over but her worry for him was not lessen a bit...she was attending a boy who met with an accident and he reminded her of zee...this has never happened yes she worried about zee before during work but this time she was feeling uneasy...

She was with Dr. Nikhil assisting him in children's' ward when her phone went off first she ignored it but after third ring she picked up and heard the panicked voice of Tanisha

"Hello Manvi thank god you picked up your cell...please come here fast" before Tanisha could continue Manvi interrupted her

"What happened Tanisha?...why are you so panicked?" Listening to panic voice of Tanisha she became afraid of what she going to hear

"Come here fast, it's about zee" without giving second thought she ran off from there ignoring the calls of Dr. Nikhil...

Right now nothing mattered to her...she was just thinking about zee... It's about zee' this line was continuously repeating in her head...she was unknown of tears flowing across her cheeks, every bad possibilities where coming in her thought

"no nothing has happened to zee...it's just one of his excuses to get away from school" she assured herself though it was not helping her...she had heard panic in Tanisha's voice before too and it was bad...remembering that incident had sent chills in her body...

After driving crazily and avoiding every traffic signal she reached zee's school...running towards his class she saw Tanisha waiting for her

"Where is zee?" she asked as soon as she went near Tanisha

"Zee have locked himself in janitor's closet and he is just shouting your name" Tanisha told her and without listening further she went towards janitor's closet

"Zee baby I am here, open the door" Manvi knocked the door softly calling for zee "Zeeshan I am Manvi...you wanted me right...zee your mum is here, open the door please" this time Manvi was crying

"Manvi is that you" she heard a soft voice from inside

"Yes sweetheart I am here...Manvi please open the door"she once again knocked the door

"No...he will again hurt me...say bad words to me" she heard zee's voice...he was crying and his voice breaking in between due to his sobs

"No one will hurt you...I am here, I won't let anybody hurt you...I am here for you...I will protect baby, I am your mum" Manvi spoke to him softly word by word

Before she could say anymore, she heard the click of the door...without thinking twice Manvi went inside and saw zee sitting in corner...she ran towards him and hugged him tightly...she said him soothing words while cradling him on her lap...before she could carry him she felt something wet near zee's waist...and she was horrified to see that there a inch cut and the wet thing was his blood...

"Zee, what is this??" she asked him looking in his eyes

"He said...that...I am not worth...living...he...said...to kill...myself" Manvi closed her eyes tightly letting fresh tears to fall knowing he was muttering same thing when he first met her...she thought it was over but now she has to do a lot more work on him...again for millionth time she wished a cruel death to that monster who ruined her zee's life...for millionth time she wished zee had a normal childhood but guess that every wish is not fulfilled...zee had remembered one of those horrible moment and had triggered him to hurt himself

"No.. you are worth living...you are most amazing boy and best son any mother would want..." She said hugging him tightly...after few minutes she picked him up and went towards her car...she made zee lie in back seat and turned towards Tanisha who followed her outside

"I want to know what happened" Tanisha nodded

"I will tell you everything but right now I need to go back...school is not over still one hour are left" Manvi nodded to her

"Come to my house in evening ...goodbye and thank you" saying this she went from there towards her home ... Reaching home she let zee sleep in his room and went to prepare some lunch...and decided to call Dr. Nikhil later apologizing him and telling him that she won't attend her duty rest of the day.

my chapters are unedited...i will edit when ever i get time so if any mistakes you noticed do tell me...and i am sorry for late update, one thing i will say about me is that i am super lazy the only reason i didn't update earlier that i was lazy, i know this is no valid reason and i am sorry

one more thing...i have decided to write prequel to this story that is, what happened to zee, how manvi met zee, how did manvi convinced adoption center to let her adopt zee as her son and also facing many difficulties including financial problems while fulfilling zee's wishes...i willnot be posting this prequel in IF but in other site...if you guys want to read it then pm me asking for links...i will surely give you...and prequel's name is 'unexpected love'
