"Zee wake up..."
"Pl-ea-se don't, I won't do it again"
"Please zee wake up...please"
"I am sorry, don't hurt me"
"Oh my god Zeeshan, baby wake up"
Anger, sad, frustration each emotions is easily passed across Manvi's eyes...seeing his son struggling in his dream was making her do every bad things to those people who had hurt her son so badly that every night since he came had nightmares and she had to wake him up...this night was also one of those...Zeeshan a 11 year old boy who had seen so much in his life which Manvi does not even want for her enemy...every night Zeeshan or zee as Manvi calls him shouts in his sleep and Manvi shakes him up so that he wakes up from his nightmare which are memories of his horrible past.
"zee wake up!!" this time she shouts and makes him sit down patting his cheek...tears flowing from his eyes, his body shaking from fear, he immediately opens his eyes ...seeing Manvi in front of him, he pushes her and runs to corner of his room...
"stay away from me" bringing his knee to his chest and wrapping himself with his hand and fear in his eyes while seeing his mom...this is the thing Manvi hates most the fear and disgust in his eyes for her...she knows this is not particularly directed towards her he is still in his sub-conscious mind but it still hurts, he does not wants to go near her
"zee... this is me your mum...I will not hurt you, never" she slowly goes near him but he crawls back...Manvi could not see him in so much pain again anger crosses her face for those bas***d who had guts to harm a little boy so much that he fears from every human being including her...
"Zeeshan listen no one will hurt you...I won't let anyone to hurt you, never...are you listening...I am Manvi...you know me right, I love you baby, so much" Manvi reaches to her son and immediately take him in her arms...she hugs him tightly crying for him...slowly zee's body relaxes and he sleeps again this time Manvi sleeps with him not wanting the repeat of all this thing again...
Rays of sunshine enters in the room, Manvi opens her eyes and first thing she does is to see the boy sleeping beside her...a smile appears on her face seeing this guy...she surely loves him very much...yes she may be his adopted mum but she has done everything to change that, she has loved him more than a real mum would do, she has taken care of him by waking up whole night and cradling him in her arms...she has sacrificed many things to provide him his best childhood...she still remembers the first day she bought him in this house...he was so fragile as if even small thing can break him...but she did not miss the smile appeared on his face when he saw the things which belonged to him
She goes in the kitchen to prepare breakfast for both of them...zee may be a 11 year old boy but man he eats so much still Manvi enjoys seeing him eat...one thing she is thankful that her shift in hospital does not start before 11 and she gets plenty of time to rest after those stressful nights...she will always thankful to the hospital she is working because that was the place where she met Zeeshan for first time and her life changed...from a typical working girl she became mum to a preteen boy...suddenly her thoughts are disturb my footsteps and she smiles seeing her little intruder...
Zeeshan enters the kitchen rubbing his eyes...its good thing that he does not remember his stressful nights...without any proper education he could not go to normal school therefore Manvi enrolls him to a school for those children who does not know basic things for their age...it's been three months and Zeeshan is progressing effectively and soon if teacher agrees he will be joining normal school though he will be a grade lower than the children of his age but that is no problem at all.
"why are you smiling like that..." zee ask her after he sits on the counter waiting for his breakfast "don't smile like that, it creeps me out " though he is used to these things but it's no harm to say it !!
"well good morning to you too my sweet little cute adorable son " Manvi laughs shaking her head seeing grumpy Zeeshan...nothing new for her
"Yeah yeah good morning...now give me breakfast and stop smiling like that you creepy woman"
"Nah nah first say good morning to my sweet smart cute lovable caring mum then only I will give your breakfast" Manvi said him standing in front of him with her hands on her hips...for few seconds they have staring match but this time Zeeshan loses
"Fine...good morning sweet smart cute lovable caring creepy woman, now give breakfast I am hungry" zee whines to her...Manvi blinks few times but she gives him his breakfast
"Well I will ignore creepy woman part and eat your breakfast you hungry monster...how does so many food fits in your little stomach" Manvi pokes him on his stomach while zee practically launches on his food
"stop poking my stomach and I am not little, I am big boy" zee smiles at Manvi with his mouth full suddenly Manvi sees the wall in front of her "oh my god, eat fast zee its 8:30 already your school starts at 9...eat fast otherwise you will be late" Manvi shouts by lifting him from the chair
"Manvi stop I can go myself stop pushing me..." Zee removes her hand from his shoulder and stares at hyper Manvi then shakes his head and goes to get ready for school while Manvi cleans the dishes
Zee occasionally calls Manvi mum otherwise he calls her by her name...according to him she is too young to be his mum but he loves her dearly...zee knows Manvi is the best thing happened to her but still his horrible past haunts him which makes him difficult to open up to people...it took total three month for him to open up to Manvi and school was very difficult to him but being understanding teacher Manvi did not need to worry for him while he is in school...Manvi badly wants zee to call her mum but he rarely calls her but she knows one day without hesitation he will call her mum
"Manvi...Manvi...Manvi" zee shakes Manvi bringing her from her thoughts
"Stop shaking me so badly" Manvi comes back from her thoughts and looks at frustrated zee
"Geez Manvi stop thinking so much and you are making me late for school"
"Sorry let's go" Manvi takes him to the school.
At first Zeeshan had lot of problem from the people in school but Manvi was relieved when one of her friend was teacher there and she was very understanding which made a lot easier for Manvi...Tansiha is also looks after him in home while Manvi works at hospital till 9 at night...she is grateful to her and you can say Tanisha was only person who supported her through her rough days while Manvi stayed with her parents or while she took decision to adopt Zeeshan...except Manvi, Zeeshan was comfortable with Tanisha not like he is near Manvi but up to extend where he can live with her without any struggle.
In hospital she is nurse working hard for both her and Zeeshan...everyone in hospital knows about her adoption some adores her and some well you can say be jealous of her but she ignores them...in hospital she does work nonstop without any break but she knows all her tiredness will vanish as soon as she sees zee after returning from work...in a way zee is her stress reliever
Returning from work she sees Tanisha already on sofa sleeping with zee on her lap, he too sleeping. She picks him up and lay him on his bed and goes back to Tanisha
"Tanisha wake up" Manvi slowly shakes Tanisha...Tanisha wakes up and sees Manvi smiling looking at her "thank you tanisha so much...without you how could I manage zee and work"
"No problem...you are my friend Manvi...I will be always with you, now you see your lil master I need to get home" saying this Tanisha bid good bye to Manvi and Manvi goes to zee's room for sleep .
