Part 20
Shlok tells his mom the whole story of what all had happened.. about how he met astha, how he actually fell in love with her then how he misunderstood her and then forcibly married her and then cheated her and divorced her out of sheer revenge..
Sarita listens to everything and is really upset.. she just gets up and walks away in tears
Shlok walks up to his mother and says... "mom, please forgive me"
Sarita turns back and gives one SLAP to shlok.. "how could you do all this shlok?? Did ur inner self not warn u even once.. u dint even once feel the guilt of doing something soo wrong.. how did u get so blinded by ur revenge? And now u think of apologizing to her? Will she even want to see ur face? And what was the mistake of her parents u punished along with her.. u will have to live with this for a lifetime shlok"
Shlok calmly says " I know mom. Forget about apology I know she wont even see my face.. I am ready to live a lifetime of guilt.. but astha she should not live a lifetime in this pain"
"I need to find her mom.. I know I cant bring her father back.. but she deserves to live happy all her life.. and I want to try and give that to her" shlok says in tears and walks away

Shlok visits astha's house and knocks.. he starts seeing through the window and around.. he sees that the house is empty.. there is nothing in the house.. not even furniture
One neighbour guy comes out and asks " hey what do u want?noone lives here"
"I want to meet astha.. do u know where they went or where they live now"shlok asks
" who knows.. sometime back they packed up all and left.. anyways its good only that they left.. this colony doesn't need such shameless people living here.. that kirloskars daughter was characterless and she shamelessly spoiled her parents name and because of her her father also had no way but to die.. good they left this house.. and who wants to know where they went"
Shlok gets real angry
He grabs the guy and starts beating him up badly..all the people of the colony get collected there.. the guy keeps pleading to stop hitting him and the neighbours try to stop shlok
"how dare u talk about astha like that.. she dint do anything wrong.." shlok in anger holding that guys neck
One lady speaks up..
"oh really.. we thought u are the one who proved her characterless in court and left her.. now what makes u come here and support astha now.."
All the other people who collected there also agree with this woman.."yes yes she is right.. who has given u the right to defend astha?"
Shlok lets go of the guy
" astha is not characterless.. she never was.. I was wrong.. I know I cant go back and change things and thinking of u people. But this is the truth.. and I will not take anybody talking anything wrong about her"
shlok warns everyone pointing his finger in anger.
Shlok says and leave.. the entire crowd stares at him leaving..

Shlok drives a long distance... he reaches the place where he had first kissed astha.. he goes there and sits and thinks about her.. and all the good moments with her..
Then he remembers gauri's words to him.. suddenly he thinks that gauri might know her where abouts
He drives to meet gauri to her house.. he reaches there and knocks at the door.. gauri opens the door and is surprised to see shlok at her door
She tries to shut the door on his face.. but shlok holds it " please gauri I need to talk to u for one minute.. don't do this please"
Gauri in anger says " what do u want to speak shlok? I don't want to talk to u.. I don't want to insult u.. so please go"
Shlok keeps trying to not let gauri close the door.. gauri keeps pushing to close the door.. in the fight suddenly gauri closes the door very fiercly and shlok's hand jamms in between.. and he screams
"aaahhh..." and his hand starts to bleed..

Gauri bandages Shloks hand and says " are umad.. what is the need for all this? Why have u come here? Say whatever u want fast and leave shlok"
" Gauri.. I know that u are angry with me but please I want to know where astha is??" shlok asks
" why was any of your revenge plans left over to complete.. I think u should have done over with all your plan.. " gauri says
" no gauri.. u are taking me wrong.. I know I have been a jerk and did all the worst things to astha.. but now I realize that I was wrong and i need to apologise to her.. I know I cant go back and change things but in the coming lifetime I don't want her to live in misery.." shlok explains
"no shlok.. u are sadly mistaken.. why do u think that astha is still thinking about you or whatever happened with her still.. the day she did the last rites of her father.. she did the last rights of her relation with you also.. and now where ever she is .. she is happy and building her life back.. so let her be.. don't worry about her.. and no need to apologise.. u or ur apology no longer means anything for her" gauri says and walks away to open the main door
"leave shlok cos I will never tell you where she is" gauri shows shlok the way out
Shlok goes out of the door.. " ok gauri don't tell me.. but I wont give up so soon.. If god intends me to meet her then I will surely find her one day"
Shlok goes away and drives away...
"no shlok.. u wont find her ever" gauri says and closes the door

ITS 4 YEARS LATER...
Shlok has been searching for astha.. he visits her house everyday just incase he happens to find her. He keeps calling her mobile just incase it ever rings and she answers that
Na and Varad are still in the prison and the case is going on.. and the delhi court will give verdict soon..
Sarita lives with shlok and takes care of him always..

Shlok talking to sarita " mom I need to go to delhi.. it's the case hearing in some days..and I have work regarding our new school project in delhi.. I need to over look its opening too.. why don't u come with me"
Sarita says no son.. I will come on the day of the case only.. its not possible for me to stay in hotel and all for so many days..and u will be busy with your work too"
"No mom.. don't worry about that.. we will stay with one of my friend KARAN.. he used to live in London but some years back he has returned to live in India.. and he is helping me in this school's legal work and opening.. you will be comfortable in his house" shlok explains
"ok fine shlok we will go then" sarita says
They both leave to delhi the next day..

In delhi airport.. Shlok and his mom are welcomed by his friend Karan..
"hey my friend Shlok.. welcome to delhi yar.. its been so long we have met.. how are u" karan says
Karan is sweet guy.. handsome and very down to earth.. he is fun loving and helpful..he has his own construction business and living in delhi with his elder sis ..
" hey karan.. this is my mother..she will stay with us too.. I just brought her with me or else she will be alone in pune" shlok explains
Karan touches her feet and takes blessings.. and they go to his car and drive home
At home karans sister welcomes shlok and sarita with aarti and they enter the house and to their rooms..
Karan shows shlok his room.. "ok boy, this is your room.. if u need anything ask ok.."
Shlok smiles and nods as karan closes the door and leaves..
Shlok goes to the balcony and is seeing here and there.. suddenly he notices that there is someone in the next room.. he can see from the window..
A girl.. wearing a salwar kameez and her dupatta tied around the waist.. he tries to see her face.. but he is not able to see her face as she is turned other way around.. shlok smiles.. suddenly he notices that she is standing on a stool and trying to do fix something high on the wall.. the stool is unstable..
Shlok gets worried and screams "ooyyeee... ooyyeee.." but she doesn't hear
Suddenly shlok starts running and rushes out of his room and barges into the other room and runs towards her.. and the stool loses its balance and she falls straight into shloks arms..
