Okay!

So, I've finally finished reading all of it, and I have to tell you, I've had a silly but heartfelt smile plastered on my face all along..

I just happened to read Shyamala Aunty's comment and realised no one could have said it any better,.

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about Arisha be it, Khamoshiyaan or Vidzi's KNK, but you two have changed my perceptions, both in different ways, for sure..

This one has to be one of my most favorite stories on IF, for sure.. I may not have commented regularly, but just so you know, I wish to applaud you for conceiving the plot, penning it down and wrapping it up with so much patience, art and poignancy.. None could've done justice to an emotional story, the way you did, Kunchu..

Never once did I feel I was reading fiction. Ayesha's pain, yet her strong belief in him and their relationship, her strength of character which didn't let her grieve and helped her sail through tough times was indeed very neatly and brilliantly written. Their reunion and parts post their reunion, were most naturally what I loved the most. The way she brought him out of his despair, back into their world, 'humari duniya' as they called it was really very touching and commendable..

Arjun. What do I say about him? Aah well, you know me by now.. 😛 If not, ask our darling friend how I burst her bubble last night? 🤣
Anyhow, that's not the point. I was almost scared to read initial parts when you used to refer to him.. The slow transition from a wheel-chair bound, defeated Aryan to the strong, confident and happy ACP Arjun was indeed a lovely journey, which I truly loved reading.
He had to come back to the ones who were waiting for him. His love, who never once left his side, both literally and figuratively. His team, who love him and wished for his well-being always. And for the sake of his duty, without which he is incomplete..

And now the one, without whom the story would've been incomplete. And I'm sure you'd agree as well. Baba.. The man lost his young son, was harbouring hopes of him being alive in some part of the world and hoped that he would return some day.
Maybe when he met Arjun, he did get a bit selfish and kept him to himself. (Of course Arjun's despair must've added to it.) But the man is truly a gem to have done what he did for a stranger.
Only a father could've cared for another man, the way he did. He stayed beside him, being his not-so-silent, stern yet loving father and helped him get back on his feet, eventually..
It's sad that his son is gone, but the fact that he has accepted the bitter truth and digested it, says a lot about his inner strength and conviction.
Kudos to you for having created such a character..

Aman and Sakshi. Their bond was absolutely delightful and like a soothing balm amidst the high voltage n painful parallel love story. He started off as an undercover officer, who was attracted to Nadia, but who was strong enough to sense his limits the day he found who she truly was. There wasn't an iota of ill feelings from his part which made him more believable and adorable, to me.. I still remember, Harshad Chopda it is! 😳
It isn't easy to fit into someone's shoes and more difficult when it happens to be ACP Arjun Rawte.
And I'm glad he didn't even try to do it. He carved a special place for himself, without displacing Arjun from there. And that's what earned him their respect and admiration, I believe. I was soo sure they wouldn't let him leave.. 😃

Sakshi.. I've been misunderstood on this forum by many, coz some believe I like a chirpy, talkative, nonsensical, overtly romantic Sakshi. But that's not it.. Right since her entry, I've believed she could've been well utilised, both as the romantic lead for the supercop and also as an ideal friend and a crime reporter.
I was so glad when you did it, Kunchu. 😊
Who cares about what the CV's did, anymore. You guys have fulfilled all my wishes right here!

So, yes this fantastically woven, emotional and soothing tale of yours shall be missed but cherished dearly by me, for sure!

Thank you for conceiving it and giving us some very beautiful moments to savour.

Love and lots of good-wishes,
Avni. 🤗

Up til update 40

Phew! What a roller coaster ride! All my sympathies only and only for that Iron Lady Aisha. She deserved more respect.

For the first time I am disappointed in Arjun. What made him think if he kept playing dead AIsha will move on and find happiness elsewhere at some point? If he though that was possible then sadly he did not know his lady love enough as he ought to. How could he not see this coming? That she would lead a life as a living corpse pining away for him keeping alive his memories by shutting out every one else. That he would not be able to look her in the face should she ever come in front of him again?

Every time when question raises about shutting off a life support system of a dying loved one the one cry of begging we almost always hear is that please let them stay on for the longest time possible. At least that way the loved one would be before our eyes, physically near to us. And here was Arjun in complete control of his faculties talking, eating and even proxy directing an investigation through Sakshi. True Love is very strong. He should have trusted Aisha's love for him more.

But then maybe Aisha understands her husband more than any one else. She saw everything his way too and forgave him quickly.

I understand it was not Sakshi's call to reveal about Arjun being alive to Aisha & the ETF. When the man who professed deep love for his wife himself was staying in the shadows it would be unfair to fault an outsider. But this was an extreme situation. A distraught woman had given up her life, a police force was losing out on a talent & courage that could save so many lives. Honestly if I were in Sakshi's place the first thing I'd have done is call ACP Rathore and give him the whereabouts of the missing in action ACP Rawte promises be damned.

What's a few words in the face of an unraveling woman running pillar to post in search of her missing husband? So dont confide in me anything that could save a lot of people some serious heartache.😆 I'd never hesitate to break such a promise.Just me😳

But to her credit she did put Aisha on track to go looking for Arjun. Else this could have gone on indefinitely. 👏 Though why Aisha didnt think of it herself?

All is well or atleast on the way to being well in the world of the Rawte couple & their ETF family.

Will be back after reading up the rest!

Fabulous! A full circle! A woman's turmoil filled journey but thankfully this woman found her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Its an honour to have an icon like Aisha among us though she is fictional the myriad hues she is given in our FFs makes us all look up to her for inspiration & strength!

Kudos to another lady for painting another awe inspiring avatar of all the characters we have come to love & cherish over so many months!👏👏👏

Loved it & glad I took it up to read!😳

Frankly speaking I have no idea how to start praising this beautiful work of yours.
It is a very unique concept.
You wrote is brilliantly & also beautifully.

Ok Lets start with Ayesha: After reading first Chapter & especially the "dancing with ghongroo wala" part I guessed the girl would be Sakshi. But I am very happy that I was proven wrong. Ayesha was the best choice for this FF.

Then came ACP Aman: His character was smartly sketched. An undercover police officer with polite heart. His first scene where he took the picture of flying birds & then bidding good bye to them was beautiful. I am sure I will not forget is so easily.

Verma: Though he may sound selfish person But he is definitely not. He was a father who was wronged by destiny & bad people. He not just gave his son's name to Arjun But he also looked for Arjun as his son. He was my favourite Character in this FF.
He was sometimes week But he was surely a person everybody would want in their life as their guardian.

Arjun: Though I didn't understand his decision of staying hidden from Ayesha first But then I did some digging on google. I read the documentary on victims who suffered these kind of incidents. Now I know What Arjun must be feeling when he took that decision for him, for Ayesha & for her happiness.

Sakshi: A true friend indeed. She was Arjun's eyes. She did every possble thing she could to reunite Ayesha-Arjun. I believe she was one of the Arjun didn't loose hope.

Sameer: He was proven another true friend for Arjun & Ayesha . He never gave up on Ayesha even after not getting response from her for 2 years. He also saved Arjun's place where he had spent so many sleepless nights.

I can imagine why this FF was so close to your heart. I am lucky that I didn't miss such a beautiful work of yours.

There were some other things which touched my heart deeply.
First, The Ravi Lodge. The whole background the importance of one room in anyone's life was fab. No other writer would have done the justice to it like you did.

Then Shree's attachment with Arjun-Ayesha Later with Aman & then Mr.verma.

Aryan's case. the press conference. it was a minor thing But I don't know why But touched my heart too. when baba was watching it & Arjun was giving him support. It was extremely good.

The case: where Sameer said they were killed first then their bodies were blasted. It somehow made me disturbed. So many innocent souls are killed brutally.
It also added the realistic touch to the whole case.

Baba-Arjun equation was remarkable. As they say "Dobte ko tinke ka sahara" They were they hope for each other.

In the end all I can say is Thank you for such a wonderful story.
