I agree with u Teacherji,but why only Payal???Originally posted by: sayali_d23
a very interesting discussion is going on here...
Both Arnav and Khushi love each other and both of them know that... what right now is happening is the battle of their love against Khushi's self respect and her insecurities abt Aranv's love for her...I for one want her to go back to Gupta House so that she can come to terms with her emotions... and also I really hope that the family specially Payal at least give some hard time to Arnav... IF everybody forgives Arnav easily then it for sure is injustice to Khushi...just my two cents 😳

That must have been such a load off her mind... imagine, having to carry all that pain within you for ages so as not to rock the boat! Arnavs remorse, desperation and fear and his ever-present desire for his wife clearly come through in that first para, as do Khushis sheer apathy and mental exhaustion at having to face another day dealing with the mess her life has become. Khushi escaping to the bathroom and giving herself a pep talk, so that she doesnt falter in her decision whatever pleas Arnav might make, is a poignant moment. Also, pleasing to see that Khushi hasnt been sitting idle, waiting for the axe to fall, but has been taking practical steps to reuild her life once her stint as Arnavs wife is over. Very sensible to apply for a job already. Anyway, she would need it if she were to be kicked out of Laxmi Nagar, which seems quite likely in the present circumstances. Khushi, I have done many stupid things to hurt you I have been a fool Khushi did not think that statement required any response. Nor was it one she could contradict... that is the best comment, by far... brought a bit of humour into the tense situation. Doubt if any of us will refute that statement either! Khushi must be tired of having to face the past over and over again when she is trying to put it behind her and to move on... however, Arnavs self-flagellation doesnt help matters and wont let her be! That she suspects that he is up to something is a clear indication that she knows the intricate workings of his mind... and why wouldnt she? After all, she has had first-hand experience of just how ruthless he can be to get what he wants... unluckily for her, he wants her! The whole world knows that I love you. And the whole family knows that you love me. Such a simple statement of facts holds more truth and has more power than yelling from the rooftops! Your family should know that the child they adopted would never knowingly put them to shame. That she has never strayed from the values they taught her... what does it say about her family when they had no faith in her or in their own upbringing? Their anger at the sudden turn of events is understandable but not Buajis hurtful words to Khushi nor their cutting off of all ties with her! Arnav is wily enough to know that the only way for Khushi to agree to a revelation of the complete truth is to make her believe that this course of action is for her own benefit more than hers... however angry and hurt Khushi is, she cant bear to see Arnav in pain! Here, we see the shrewd businessman, willing to take a risk if it will get him his hearts desire... a desperate move by a man who has nothing more to lose and everything to gain if his ploy works.
Smita, really glad [enough to do a jig!] that you came up with this scintillating scene where Arnav confesses, before his family, to his sins against Khushi, even if it is part of his plan to get remarried to Khushi. That was a masterstroke! It must have been such an anti-climax for Arnav and Khushi when the families pre-empted his confession by jumping to the conclusion that Khushi is pregnant! The icing on the cake is that someone as supposedly dense as NK gets what the ladies were so thrilled about but the wily Arnav is left perplexed. Of course, Arnav must have been solely focused on revealing the truth of his marriage so getting his head round another idea must have been difficult. Anjali hugged and kissed Arnav and Khushi, weeping all over them... no surprised there! Loved the unique manner in which you had Arnav reveal the truth of their marriage... the rapid change of emotions and expressions on the faces of family members is fascinating! So glad that his family knows Arnav enough not to condone his ruthlessness. Also glad that both families now know that, in a way, he is the architect of this whole tragedy, both in Lucknow and in Delhi! She knew that Akash would not disregard my words, regardless of his commitment to Payal... That doesnt say much about Akashs character... lucky for him that he didnt have to prove if he had a backbone or not! I just realised that this has shades of Pride and Prejudice where Mr. Darcy persuades Mr. Bingley that Jane isnt in love with him and the foolish fellow accepts that. It is legal. I made Khushi sign a contract. Babujis eyes were wide with shock... it is a wonder he didnt suffer another heart attack! It is not a marriage, Chotey. It is an insult. You have insulted Khushiji, Anjali said, her voice low but firm... shes damn right, for a change!
I know this is supposed to be an intense angst-ridden scene, but the thought of Arnav silently egging on his family members to get him quickly married to Khushi is damn hilarious! He is truly the puppet master, making everyone dance to his tune, though they dont know it! The very idea that someone else might insult her by offering her a contract marriage doesnt sit well with Arnav... what a hypocrite! The only sad part in this whole scene is that Khushis wishes are once again thoroughly ignored, and this time by both families! Once again she is being manipulated by people supposedly having her best interests at heart! In the show, I so wanted their remarriage to be a private intimate affair, but that was not to be... seems like my dream is coming true here! Now that Arnav has managed to get Khushi to wear the red sari he gifted, I am sure hell make her model that nightgown for him, too! The remarriage is a stroke of sheer genius on Arnavs part: when shes legally married to Arnav, Khushi will still be known as Mrs. Raizada, even if they separate and he can visit the Guptas and even help Khushi or them out in that name. Moreover, no one else could claim her for himself as she would still be tied to Arnav... besides, I doubt that the Raizadas would allow Khushi to leave their house when she is officially their bahu!
