Khuda Hafiz .a Two Shot. KR

11:30 am-Mumbai

I didn't know why she has been in my mind since morning, it tried hard not to think about her, avoid her for so long. I didn't know what to do. I was in the Fire Escape, not able to tolerate the flowing memories of Kria. The more I try to control it, the worse it gets. Just then Taani [her look] came there.

"You?" I said.

"Yup. Its me"

"So tell, Wat is it?" I tried hard to hide my condition but her behaviour was weird since morning. Firstly she dressed up like Kria, den in the canteen she ordered Kria's favourite chocolate pastry and now she was arguing with me like Kria over working with Shivam for Charity event.

I didn't have any idea why she was arguing like this without any valid reason. I asked her to leave so that I don't shout at her, but she continued her argument.

"Why are you arguing with me Taani?" I asked her at last.

"Kyuki Kria bhi aapse aise hi ladti rehti thi"

I was taken aback after listening what she let out. My memories with her came back rushing towards me.

"I know I can't take Kria's place in your life but I wanna know you, understand you just like Kria did"

"Tumne aisa socha bhi kaise?" I said in anger. "Kaise? pata nahi par aapke alawa kisi aur ke baare main socha hi nahi maine kabhi."

"Enough! Enough Taani. Tumhe pata bhi nahi hai tum kya keh raho ho so please leave"

"Please Rey ek chance! main aapko prove karna chahti hoon ke aap mere liye"

"Enough! What The hell are you talking about. Chance u want a chance from me I'm listening to you here only bcoz ur Swayam's sister, usse zada kuch nahi ho tum mere liye. Tumne aisa soch bhi kaise liya main tum main interested hoon. Oh gosh! Get a life Taani."

I shouted at her and left from there, though I didn't want to hurt her but I couldn't tolerate the fact that she wanted to be like Kria. Aimlessly I moved into the corridor, lost in Kria thoughts. In these few minutes Taani had made me realize how important she was for me.

"I need her" was all I could say. The next moment I was library to get her Dehradun's address. I searched till afternoon but no clue.

"Beta, the file of old students record has been misplaced. I think you should leave the thought of finding that file." Librarian said. My hopes were shattered, I thought to leave and as I got up some files fell from the shelf. I picked them, "Batch 2011-2012-Student's record" was written on the last file which I picked.

6:22 pm - Dehradun

I stepped out of the Flight, in her city *Dehradun*. The weather was really cold as compared to Mumbai but her city was beautiful like her. It was 4 months before I had seen her last. how she would look now, how will she react was all I thought simply wanting her back again,"Kria Ghai, Im coming to get my answers."

I stood in front of the given address, Ghai's was written on the nameplate of the house which confirmed its her house. I rang the bell but no one came. I rang it thrice but no response at last I opened the gate and stood in her veranda. I looked around in search of her. "Just a minute, I'm coming" A voice came from inside.

I couldn't wait more to see her. The knob of the door moved slightly and as the door opened. My eyes couldn't believe she was standing in front of me [her look]. A million dollar smile came to my lips seeing her. She looked at the gate first but soon her eyes realised I was there. I took few steps forward. "Baatcutter" I said.

She ran into my arms, hugged me tight. I too hugged her, burying my face in her nape. I had tears in my eyes as I hugged her. She pulled back after some time, cupped my face to make herself believe that I was really there with her. I kissed her temple to make her believe, she placed her hands around me and her eyes met with mine.

But I needed my answers., I stepped back. "So, Miss Ghai tumne mujhe kabhi pasand nahi kiya. Tumhe mujh main koi intrest nahi hai Right?"

"Rey, I'm sorr..."

"Main to tumhare dost banne layak bhi nahi hoon Right?", a tear escaped from my eye. Before a second could pass, she stepped forward and wiped it. "Reyansh, I'm sorry" Her eyes clearly said that she really meant that sorry.

I wasn't satisfied a bit in these four months, I always told myself she has left, she's past but wasn't able to make my heart agree. Finally it got me here to listen from her that she had lied on Pre-Valentine's night. We moved inside to her room. I wanted to talk to her, clarify so much left between us to say but I felt my head heavy, it was difficult for me to keep my eyes open due to dizziness.

She made me lay on her bed, ruffled my hair slightly sitting next me. "Kria, I need to.." I said but she was a typical baatcutter "Rey, we'll talk later right now you need rest."

"But Kria"

"Go to sleep, Rey" she closed my eyes, pecked my lips. I kissed her hand, she ruffled my hair till I slept.

When I got up, it was 8:30 pm. My eyes looked around to find her but she wasn't there. I moved out of the room searching hers.

"Kria... Kria... Where are you?" I called several times.

Rubbing my eyes I reached the lobby, She stood near dining table arranging it for dinner. I smiled looking at her. "Come" she said. I settled in the chair, admired her working. She walked next to me to serve as soon as she came near me I hugged her by the waist.

"I missed you" I said.

She Kissed my forehead, "Missed you too Rey". She fed me with her hands, the food was really amazing. I really amazed to see her cooking skills, my eyes were struck at her while I ate.

"I'm impressed, In 4 months you learnt to cook so well"

She kissed my cheek, "Thank you".

After we had dinner we sat in her room's balcony with, She wrapped a blanket around me as her city became so cold at night. so many questions were going on in my mind... If she really loved me why she left me on pre-valentines? Why did she lie that day? Why she left? Where was her Mom right now?

I pulled her close, she sat next to me. I wanted to know what was going on in her life, what had happened with her in past.

"Kria"

"Haan Rey", she kept her head on my shoulder.

"Why you lied to me that day? Why you left? and Where is your mom?" I asked in a go. She narrated me the whole story, I felt so guilty for not having faith her. It was completely my fault for not having faith on her.

"Kria, Tumhari Mom?"

"She died after a month we came back to the Dehradun due to heart problem" I couldn't see any sorrow in her eyes.

I took her in my arms, tears were flowing down my eyes as I listened to her. "And what about your college, How you manage all your study expenses?"

"I study through correspondence, with a part time job in an advertising agency"

Her voice didn't have any pain or regret on from her past maybe because she had suffered so much that pain didn't bother her. I felt so ashamed, I wasn't there with her when she needed me the most not even once I tried to find why she did all that.

"Rey its late. I think we should sleep, I need to go work tomorrow" I guess she just

We were sleeping on our own sides. I turned towards her to find was she asleep, but she wasn't. She slipped into his arms as soon as I moved close. I made her look into my eyes. Her crystal clear eyes which reflected love which I never understood. I pinned her hands back on pillow, placed my lips on her.

She drifted to sleep, I admired her face and soon I too drifted to sleep.

A week had passed since I was with her, she left every morning for work and came back in the evening. I used to study in daytime at home, In the evening I helped her to prepare dinner, assisted her in the other household work. We spent time together but I wanted to to tell her Why I came to Dehradun... What I had in my mind...
