The Arjun part just flowed for me while writing it. I enjoyed it myself😉 I am glad that you did too.
Is Riya special for Arjun? Certainly yes.
But why? That's a very loaded question.
Congrats, because you are the first one to raise this issue which lies at the heart of the fic.
The way I see it, their emotions are very complicated. It lies somewhere between physical attraction and love, neither here nor there. Not easily defined. As per the show, Arjun and Riya didn't get to spend a lot of time with one another, maybe 5-6 months. And that's what I am going with in my story as well.
Whatever it is, there is certainly a lot of passion, which is why I titled the fic, "Deception, Intrigue...and Passion?".
They have feelings for each other, true. But the nature of the feelings is something both are unaware of.
Certainly, both of them are special for each other. But where is the trust and understanding that becomes important in a long-standing relationship? That is just one of the things I will be exploring in this story.
The journey of the two characters from ignorance to understanding. From immaturity to maturity. To an awareness of what they mean to each other.
