Part 11: I Found You Mannu!

Jeevika: What? You and Ice cream?

My mind flew back to my childhood when I made icecream for Mannu, as far as I remember it was disastrous.

## Flashback ##

When Manvi and Jeevika were of 10 years old.. Manvi was waiting for her dear sister in the verandah feeling angry that she is not showing up.

Manvi: Oh My god! For how much time I am waiting for her? Where she went? Why didn't she know that I have made something for her? I will have to go and check where she is!

She checked each and every corner of the house except the kitchen as she rarely enters the kitchen!

Manvi: Where is she? May be in kitchen.

When she went to the kitchen door , she found the door locked but she was able to hear some sounds from inside. She leaned towards the keyhole to find out who was it?

Sound: Oh God, Please help me! I should add water or flour first?

Manvi: The sound seems like Jeevi's, but what is she doing in the kitchen? Why did she close the door?

Sound: oh god! What a mess is this? How will I clean it? Jeevi, Right now start cleaning.

Manvi waited for a long time for Jeevika to come outside.

Sound: Well done Jeevi. You have cleaned everything and You have the surprise for Mannu. Get set Mannu, I am coming!

Manvi heard it and suddenly rushed towards the verandah and sat there.

Jeevika came there.

Jeevi: Mannu, close your eyes!

Manvi: For what?

Jeevi: I will close.

Jeevika closed Manvi's eyes and put something in front of her eyes and opened her eyes.

Manvi: Icecream!!!!!!!

Jeevika: My surprise for you!

Manvi: Wait? Now mine? Close your eyes!

Jeevika closed her eyes and after that Manvi made her open!

Jeevika: Aww...how sweet...Loved your surprise mannu!

Manvi: Thank you Jeevi! I loved your surprise too!

Manvi gave Jeevika a chart paper in which it was pasted H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y J-E-E-V-I !

She cut the letters from newspapers.

They both hugged each other and wished a very happy birthday!

## Flashback ##

I was woen uo when I felt a hand waving infront of my eyes.

Rashi: Hey ,hey where are you lost? Wake up !

Jeevika: Yeah ! sorry!

Rashi: Okay!

Jeevika: I am leaving to office. This is the first day of my office.

Rashi: All the best jaan. Hope you have a great day.

Jeevika: thanks! Bye!

Rashi: How many times I have told you? You are forgeting huh!

Jeevika: Okay forgive me for saying thanks.

Rashi: You are forgiven!

We both laughed.

Jeevika: Bye, rashi, See you at night!

Rashi: Bye Jaan!

I left for the first day of my office work. I was walking through the busy crowds looking for a rikshaw when I saw something. I stood there without being able to belive my eyes.

Was it her? Was it? Can I believe my eyes? How can I? Was it her? She was not! Yes,She was. "Stoooppp.."

Yes, she was! It was her! She just went passing my eyesight. Where she went?

Come on Jeevika! You have to find her now!

I am not able to believe my eyes that I just was my Mannu crossing the road, but was it she? yes she was. I roamed all around the busy street searching for her but couldn't find her!

I felt crying. Where she went so suddenly? I just saw her now! How can she go like this?

I turned back and I saw her again infront of my eyes .My mind was jumping in happiness. At last I found her! At last I found my Mannu.

I went beside her without knowing what I was going to say.
