Part 5:- Memories!

~~ Jeevika ~~

I just reached the VV designs for my very first interview. Actually I should say,this was my dream, not only mine but Maanvi's dream too ,to work in a world famous company like VV. But now I am going for the interview not to fulfill my dream but to be independent .I just don't want to be a burden to Rashi. She has done so much for me and now I should do something for her. I was about to reach VV,when I saw some students of almost 10 walking very tensely towards a school. I guessed that they were having exams.Yes, exams. On an exam day one of the most interesting thing happened in my life.

~~Flashback~~

Maanvi and Jeevika (12 years old)were walking to their exam hall.They both had different exam halls as their name had alphabetic variation. After reaching Jeevika's exam hall she hugged Manvi and wished her all the best. Manvi left for her's without knowing what is waiting for her over there!

Maanvi: Hi Rupa(her friend).

Rupa: Hi Manvi. Can you help me with this problem?

Maanvi: Hey dear why are you doing all these problems on science exam day?

Rupa laughed.

Rupa: Have you gone mad sweety. Today is maths exam.

Maanvi: What?It is science know?

Ruap: No Maanvi. It is not .Look at your exam timetable.

Maanvi suddenly inquired the time table and was awfully shocked to know that it was atually Maths exam.

Rupa: Maanvi,study fast, Only an hour is left for the exam.

Maanvi: Oh god !! Jeevi has also studied science only .What will she do?

Rupa: You and your Jeevika. First study yourself,t hen only consider others.

Maanvi: You shut up!! I want to inform Jeevi now. And Jeevika is not others' for me .She is my sister. We have only separate bodies but our soul is one.

Rupa: I am not saying anything.

Maanvi: I will go and inform now.

Rupa: No, you study.I will go and inform.

She went to Jeevika's exam hall and said to Jeevika. Actually Jeevika has already heard that and she had started studying.

They were studying hard in these 60 minutes without considering the surroundings. Actually they were not thinking about their exam but about their sister's exam.

When the exam was about to start.

Maanvi(in mind): Hei Bhagvan, If you make my exam bad too don't make Jeevika's bad. I want her to score good marks.

Jeevika: (in mind): Bhagvaan, Please help Manvi score good marks.

The exam started and both of them did well.After exams ,they both didn't even mind to discuss the exam paper with their friends. They both ran to the other one's examination hall. Actually they were running in the opposite directions as they both banged at each other.

Jeevika: Ok Mannu how was the exam?It was nice know?

Maanvi: Oh didi it was very nice and how was yours?

Jeevika: Mine was nice too.

Rupa: Helooo

Maanvi: Oh sorry dear I was in a hurry to meet Jeevika.

Rupa: I know I know.You are two bodies and one soul know?

Jeevika: Exactly.

Jeevika and Maanvi: Behen hein hum, Khoon ka rishtah he hamara.

Rupa: Oh how cute. I would love to get a sister like you. Anyway let's go. It is late.

Maanvi: Ok come.

The result publishing day .Although both Maanvi and Jeevika's science exam was harder but they were too eager and tensed to know the marks of maths.

Teacher: Maanvi Chaudary-49/50...

Maanvi just looked at the teacher surprisingly. Oh god! I got this much even though I didn't study.

Jeevika: Oh I am too happy for u Mannu...Congratulation.

Teacher: Jeevika Chaudhary-49/50.

Jeevika also thought the same what Maanvi thought.

Maanvi hugged Jeevika. Jeevika also hugged back.This is a miracle.The sweetest thing that happened in my life!

~~~Flashback ends~~~

I was just smiling remembering about those wonderful moments with Maanvi. Sach mein that was a miracle.

I just realized now that I have reached VV. I was too tensed to attend the interview.

~~ Viren ~~

I was waiting in my cabin for the first person to enter. I was not at all confident to take the interview. I was sure that I will end up being too confused who m to choose.

.So many persons gave me the interviews and went out .I was not at all satisfied witt them. Now I was just thinking in mind that I am improving in this task-interview taking. Suddenly I remembered about Jeevikaji. I think she is also a fashion designer.Just a guess. But I would be glad if she is one, as I think she is perfect for this job. And I can see her everyday! And then Iheard a very sweet "May I come in."I think I have heard that voice before.

~~ Jeevika ~~

I just entered the boss' cabin when I was too surprised because the boss was Virenji! I have never guessed he was the MD of such a famous and large company. Then I heard him saying "Come in". And just like me he was surprised to see me as well.

Viren: You can take the seat.

I sat on one of the chairs opposite to him. He was staring at me very hard and I felt very uncomfortable.

Viren: Hi Jeevikaji, how are you?

I was just shocked hearing that question. I think he has forgotten that he had to take my interview. Without answering him, I thought I should make him remember that he was supposed to interview me.

Jeevika: Excuse me, sir. Can we move onto the interview part.

Viren: Oh, sure. Ok, then tell me, why you want this job?

This was an easy question and for me I can answer it in one short sentence.

Jeevika: Because I want to be independent and live without being a burden for anyone.

Viren: Ok, next a professional question. Which colours will you prefer for an Indian bride?

That was an also an easy question as I have designed lehengas for brides in a competition in our college and I can say me and Maanvi together designed them.

Jeevika: Of course, I will prefer red. Its always best for shaadis as the bride should be always seen highlighted and bright red can do it perfectly. And other than Red I prefer other dark colours too.

~~ Viren ~~

I just heard a fabulous and practical answer from her. The type of answer I was expecting from everyone. But I just cannot appoint her only after asking two questions. So I kept on going.

Viren: Being a fashion designer, which color combinations do you think are the best?

Jeevika: For casual dresses, I always prefer combinations with a touch of white, like Black and White or Purple and White. And if u think for party-wear I will say Dark-blue and Black for people with white skin, and Pink and Yellow for those with dark-coloredskin.

Now she told another beautiful answer. Actually I forgot asking about her certificates and Biodata. Now I decided to check them out. Maybe I can know more about her.

Viren: May I see your certificates and biodata please.

She handed them over to me. I opened them , but my eyes kept me away from her personal information and insisted me to look at her college carrier. I was surprised to see that she has passed fashion designing course with 95%. I decided to tell her that she was very bright.

Viren: Wow, became a fashion designer with high percentage. You are so bright, Jeevikaji.

I expected a sweet Thank You' from her. But she just smiled and that smile made her even more beautiful.

I decided to end the interview as soon as possible or else I knew I will start staring at her continuously. Now also I cannot stop looking at her pleasant face.

Viren: Now the final question. Do you think you can work here according to our expectations?

Jeevika: About that I can say, I am confident. I will try my level best to bring all my talent out and become a sincere employee for VV.

Now I couldn't wait to tell her that she was selected. I told it as soon as I caught of my breath.

Viren: You are appointed Jeevikaji, you can join tomorrow. And always be punctual about timing, you start your work at sharp 9:00 tomorrow . got it?

Jeevika: Yes, sir.

Viren: Don't call me that sir.sir. You can call me Viren or Virenji.

Jeevika: thanks Virenji, see you tomorrow.

Viren: OK, bye.

Jeevika: Bye.

And the angelic beauty took back with her certificates and biodata from me and slowly walked towards the cabin door. I wished if she had turned back and looked at me. But she never did and faded off the screen gradually. I was happy that I can see her every day from now on.

That flashback was real as well. I know it was a bit stupid! But I just wanted to involve that too!

Sorry if those interview questions were stupid, but I don't know anything about Fashion Designing.
