PART 6

The day Dawned with a beautiful Sunrise and was filling Arnavs dark room with its rays.

Arnav who was sleeping on his Bed twirled a bit but was not able to move. He slowly opened his eyes and realized he was crushed between two Bundles. Ansh was sleeping hoding his neck from behind while Meetthi was hugging him from front resting her legs on his tummy.

A slow smile spread on his face seeing her sleeping position

but he was surprised to see Ansh sleeping holding him.

He never did that Arnav thought. Nevertheless, He moved slowly and got down his Bed and went to get ready for his Jogging.

In Lucknow, Khushi woke up early and was getting ready for her morning walk. There was a time when she never likes to wake up from her bed in the morning because she loves her sleep so much. But she lost her sleep when she lost him. To compose herself she started this morning walk and now she got used to it.

When she was about to leave she heard Aditya.

"Jiji, can I join you today?" he asked in a very calm tone.

Khushi was curious to know the reason for his sudden change as Aditya was more attached to his Sleep. But she dint question him as she had a lot of other questions to ask him.

She just nodded her head and started to move out leaving a confused Aditya behind

"Yeh Jiji ko kya ho gaya aaj? Why is she behaving like this? She dint speak a word?"

He followed her scratching his head in confusion.

Arnav returned from jogging and as he reached his Kings suit, he was welcomed by loud noises. He entered the room and was shocked to see the scene in front of his eyes.

Ansh and Meetthi were playing throwing pillow cotton on each other. Meetthi was laughing loud and Anjali was giggling seeing all these.

"What the" escaped Arnavs Mouth gaining everyones attention.

All went silent the very second.

"Papa" Ansh smiled

"Mamu" Meetthi gave him a toothy grin.

Arnav went towards them and gave them an angry glare.

Ansh n Meetthi looked at him and put their heads down.

"Bhai. Why are you looking at them like that? They are kids. Masti karenge hi. Now stop glaring at them." Anjali ended in a commanding tone.

Arnav turned to her

"Pinki. You better dont talk to me. Yesterday the whole day you dint even bother about me and now you are bossing me. Now go and continue your Bak bak with Yash." He said in a irritated tone.

"Awww. Thats not fair bhai. You were the one who was busy the whole day and after coming to the cottage also you were busy with Your Sugar n Ansh that you never had time for me." She said it with a pout.

Meetthi who watched her mother pouting. Laughed loud. But she put up a serious face and said

"Maa.. Arn Mamu.. no jada(jagda)" She said in a warning tone that all other started giggling.

"Sugar, See your maa is not talking with me." Arnav complained to Meetti

"Ansh beta.. See your Khadus papa is angry with me." Anjali complained to Ansh.

The little ones gave each other a confused look.

"Chote. Pinki.. Ye kya ho raha hai yahan? Why are you both troubling my Guddu and Ansh?"

"Na.. ni" Meetti gave a toothy smile.

Aarthi took Meetthi in her arms and kissed her.

"Nani Mamu and Maa jada. They no talk. You daat(scold) them"

Now she complained to Aarthi.

Arnav and Anjali gave her the same What the look.

"Haan Dadi. See Papa and Bua are fighting" Ansh added

"ANSH" both Anjali and Arnav yelled at same time.

But Ansh showed them his tongue and hid himself behind Aarthi before Anjali could reach him who was ready to thrash him.

"Pinki. Kya hai yeh chote bachon ki tarah. Now go and talk to your Bhai. He has cancelled all his appointments today to spend time with you. Raksha Bandan ke din bala koi jagadta hai apne bhai se(will anyone fight with her brother on the day of Raksha bandhan)?"

"Yes Maa. You always support him. I came to Simla all the way from Delhi to tie rakhi on his hands but see he is showing attitude. Huh."

She stomped her foot hard and went behind Arnav who left the suit when she was chasing Ansh.

Arnav was standing in his small garden that he set up outside his Last Cottage.

Anjali came with her pooja Thali with Rakhi n sweets.

"Bhai." She called him in low tone

He turned to her and before he could say anything she pulled him inside the cottage. She made him stand in front of the small mandir there and started doing her arthi.

She tied Rakhi on his wrist and fed him Badam barfi.

"Pinki. Its really nice. Who made it? Dont say you made it" Arnav said munching the barfi. Anjali slapped his arms

"Bhai. Dont. Where is my Gift?" she asked with her hands on her hips.

Arnav rolled his eyes.

Then went inside and came back with his hands folded behind him. She saw that and glared at him

Arnav shook his head and then brought his hands forward showing her a Designer saree in blue color. She smiled seeing it. And frowned at his other hand that was folded behind. He brought other hand forward and showed a CADBURY CELEBRATIONS box. Anjali started to jump up and down and hugged Arnav.

"Bhai. Thank you so much. I love Chocolates so much. You are the best"

Arnav smiled at his Childish sister.

In Lucknow. Khushi was busy with her kitchen work and as Ankit has gone out of town for few days she dint have much work in office so she took off from work.

Aditya came there and touched her shoulder.

Khushi turned to him but then continued with her work.

"Kya hai Nanhe?" she asked without looking at him.

"Jiji. Aaj ka din bhul gaye kya?"

"No Nanhe. I have made everything ready. Just came here to help Buaji. You wait outside. I will come in few minutes." She said still not looking at him.

Aditya put his head down and went to the living room while Khushi was watching him from her Eye corner.

He was waiting in the living Room. Khushi came there and went straight inside without even looking at him. She came back with her Pooja thali and did Arthi for him and tied Rakhi. But it was unusually very silent as Khushi was silent. Aditya observed everything. When he was about give her Rakhi Gift,

"Nahi Nanhe."

"Jiji, whats wrong? I do this every year"

"You dont get into such big trouble every year too"

"But Jiji this is ritual."

"Bas Nanhe, I dont want anything. You should give these out of love. But I dont think that you love me"

"Hai re Nandakishore? Ka Bak rahi ho sanka devi. Ab ye parmeswar ne ka kiya?"Buaji came with her hands on her forehead

"Ask him Buaji" she said giving an angry glare to poor Confused Soul Aditya.

Buaji gave him a questioning look and Aditya nodded his head.

"Sanah kon hai?" suddenly Khushi asked and Aditya had a ZOR KA JHATKA.

"Jiji" he called her in low tone.

"Haan I know. And also about Shruthi. If u love me how can you hide such big things from me?"

"Jiji, please. I wanted her to complete her studies and I dint want to make you upset."

Buaji was confused about Sanah n Shruti.

Khushi looked at him with a blank expression.

Jiji aapko jitna chahiye utna gol gappe aur jalebiyan khilayenge. Please talk to me. Aditya went on his knees and gave her his best puppy dog expression.

"Pakka khilayenge?"

"haan pakka. How much ever you want"

"Nandakishore.. what is this? Yeh Sanka devi khana chodne ka naam hi nahi legi ab" Buaji exclaimed

Khushi opened her mouth in perfect O

IGNORE PAYAL

"Buaji, hum utna khate hain kya?"

"Nahi Sanka devi. You just eat a little. The amount which a village eats for one week" Buaji said with a hidden smile.

"Thats not right buaji. She eats food that a village has for a month."

Aditya said and laughed.

Khushi gave both of them a glare and stomped her food and turned to leave.

"Arey Jiji, Dont want your Gift?"

Aditya showed her a Teddy bear and a box of Sev puri.

Khushis eyes twinkled seeing them n grabbed them from him.

"Wow Nanhe. Best Gifts like always. Thank you so much"

She hugged him and he held her protectively.

Khushi started dancing with her teddy and munching her Sev Puri.

The whole day went Happily HASTHE KHELTHE NAACHTE, both in Simla n Lucknow.

But Destiny had other plans for them.
