"Revenge proves its own executioner."

He wanted to hurt her but got hurt himself. Is this fate or karma? Life has a funny way of reminding us of our mistakes.

He thought he will make her upset by showing her his infidelity but news about Khushi's marriage will hurt him way too much.

If Khushi was getting married to seek revenge from him then she couldn't have chosen a more apt method but someone who has been hurt so much does not have it in them to hurt others.

"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike."

Her indifference is getting to him badly.

She has become a part of his system and now he can't get her out of his mind. She's everywhere. As if she has taken over him.

Home may not always be a place. It maybe a person too.

Khushi has come back home to her family to find her peace.

Really appreciate how you wrote about two religions, side by side in such a positive way. End of the day it really is all about the belief.

Oh wow! What a lovely update :)

I so loved sheetal in this update. She has her own principles & I am glad she gave him a nice thing about his behaviour.

The hell! Whatever he did was not at all justified!

I ,at first, felt bad for khushi. Poor girl's dreams were broken before they could've taken form.

But then the way she faced it, I salute her in this update.

That was the best she could do, not let him know what she had felt & had gone through.

And arnav, oh god! He always let his past demons rule his present. I am glad nani understood that it is not only khushi at fault, but their society too.

I am proud of the step khushi has taken, now waiting to see how arnav gets hold of her, again 😃

this is copletely opposite of what i had guessed,,,but then, aap (s)expel aise hi nahi, right?

the past had left its remants..the lives are destroyed,,,and no signs of making up again...THIS SHATTERS ME...!

sheetal got sumthing man! i really liked her in this update,,,,on your face, M.P!! she really gained my repect here! the lady didnt come like a kitten to arnav and showed him the reality that he is a selfish arrogant man, who just in revenge spoil three lives! what with arnav? why he has to behave like this only? and when i thought that devyani's word put some sense in him, he did the exact opposite? he scratch the wounds of the woman(khushi)...!! he is unable to see that khushi copmpletely changed her life coz of that incident...the always happy girl is so gloomy now..!! well, thats a error on HER part but she didnt do it deliberately, right? we all did some big small mistakes but that doesnot mean that we are up for facing hatred for all our lives,,,,FORGIVENESS IS SOMETHING,DAMMIT!

and if u cant forgive others, nobody is going to FORGIVE you!!

SHATTERING dreams is easy but forming new is difficult!

khushi is on emergency leave? this is somethig i didnt expect from her. is she running? the way you showed khushi doing both namaz and aarti is EPIC,,,i love that!

and now she is going to get married? will marriage happen? errmmm,,,,i donn think so!

that cruel, useless, brainless, egoistic kinda M.P needed to be taught a lesson, no? and how can that happen if khushi got married to someone else,,,!!

Beyond the nafrat and flashbacks that came as a part of this chapter, what remained in my mind wwas Sheetal. You do have a way with her don't you? I remember in Dhadkanein when you had resigned her to becoming a non entity and then today you showed her to be a woman of substance...one who wouldn't be the door mat, one who had enough dignity to collect herself despite things having turned for the worse right before her eyes. I didn't know I would ever say this but this Sheetal has my respect👏

Every chapter gives a glimpse into the hatred that Arnav bears for Khushi. I know it would have been foolish to expect him to regret and make ammends for what he had done after acknowledging the futility of it since there wasn't really anything between him and Khushi. But of course he managed to hurt her even more and also acknowledge by doing the same that she had seeped into his life...not only more than he wanted to but more than he even acknowledged to himself.

I loved the way you showed Khushi's beliefs; it would have been cliched to portray her as one who believed in both religions; the delineation of her faith in her mother's beliefs was just perfect.

An interesting twist in the form of a proposal for Khushi...will be eager to know how this goes ahead.

Another thing that I didn't mention last time...things might have improved slightly since the last 10 years but communalism still exists (if we take the real 2013 in consideration). So my question is, the past has done its bit in shattering the lives of people but will there be a repeat of the same in present day scenario?

I didn't except sheethal to behave like this but iam proud of her. Because his ASR, that doesn't give him the right hurt anyone he wants.
Nani is right, yes what Khushi did was wrong but she did that for her brother. Wouldn't Arnav do the same for his sister? He needed someone to blame and I think Khushi was easy target.
Even he didn't know why he wanted to her in this way when he doesn't love her or know her feelings for him. He didn't get the results he wanted, but he did help Khushi to move on with her life. Now she knows that Arnav hate for her and nothing she does can make any difference.
Let see how Arnav will feel and react to Khushis marriage!

She resed at 4:05
