"When friends turn into enemies"

Mahisha's palace

Vajramitra was sitting beside kanika's body. Tears were rolling down from his eyes. He was sitting like a statue with no expression on his face. He touched kanika's face and started crying badly. Rudra was also crying. He was still in the shock of his mother's death. Rudra's daima shrijana was consoling him.

Pandit: Maharaj. It's time for queen kanika's last rites.

Vajramitra started crying more. He was completely shattered but somehow managed to stand up for his wife's last rites.

Vajramitra, rudra, vajramitra's senapati baldev and rudra's daimaa shrijana all were present in the cremation ground. Vajramitra performs kanika's last rites when he was about to light the pyre he saw rudra's face he goes toward him and said to light the pyre with him. Both father and son light kanika's pyre together. Both father and son hugged each other and cried.

Videha's palace

Vikramaditya was sad and in deep thought. Padmavati comes and consoles him.

Padmavati: what are you thinking swami?

Vikramaditya: padmavati you also think that I killed queen kanika

Padmavati: No swami of course not. I know you can't do anything like this. I trust you.

Vikramaditya: Then why my best friend didn't believe me when I said that I didn't killed queen kanika..

Padmavati: He was in the state of shock of his wife's death. I am sure when he'll think about it with calm mind he'll definitely understand you. He will realize that you are innocent..

Vikramaditya: I hope so.

Shambhavi heard her parents talking and becomes upset. She goes to her room and looks at the rose which rudra gave her. A tear rolled down from her eye.

Mahisha's palace (in the night)

Rudra was not ready to eat anything. Shrijana was trying to make him understand but he wasn't listening to her. Vajramaitra comes there and makes him understand but rudra was continuously crying. Vajramitra wiped his tears.

Vajramitra: son, I am going through the same pain which you are going through. You lost your mother, I lost my wife and this kingdom lost its queen.

Rudra(crying): Is it true that maa was killed?

Vajramitra ignores his question and tells him to eat.

Rudra: I won't eat until you tell me the truth..

Vajramitra: I'll tell you son but only when time comes, not now

Rudra: why not now?

Vajramitra: Look son, I know how are you feeling? But right now I can't tell you anything but I promise you that I'll tell you the truth. Now please eat something, your mother must be watching you from somewhere and she'll feel bad if she came to know that you haven't eaten anything. Do you want to hurt your mother?

Rudra: no pitaji

Rudra agrees to eat

Next morning vajramitra calls his senapati and tells him to prepare for the battle as they are going to attack on videha. Baldev was shocked to hear this but follows vajramitra instructions.

Videha's palace

A sainik of mahisha came and informs vikramaditya that vajramitra has declared a war against videha. Vikramaditya and padmavati were stunned hearing this. He couldn't believe that his friend is going to fight with him and still thinks that he is guilty.

Vikrant says this can't be I myself go to king vajramitra and makes him understand that you are innocent. Brother please give me permission to go their.

Vikramaditya : No vikrant I can't allow you to go their. It can be dangerous.

Vikrant: Nothing will happen brother, trust me. Just gave me one chance to sort out everything. I am sure vajramitra will listen to me.

Vikramaditya was a bit hesitant but allows him to go.

In the evening

Vikaramaditya was tensed that vikrant hasn't returned yet. He was eagerly waiting for him. He wanted to know what happened in mahisha. He was getting impatient by every passing moment.

Suddenly he saw some sainiks coming. He was stunned when he saw that they were bringing vikrant's dead body. The soldiers were also badly injured but somehow manage to bring vikrant's body.He immediately rushed towards them.

Vikramaditya(crying): Vikrant please open your eyes.

Padmavati and shambhavi came running. They were shocked seeing vikram dead. Both starts crying. Vikrant's face was crushed so badly that it was even impossible to recognize him, but vikramaditya recognized him by his clothes and accessories.

Vikramaditya(in anger): who did this? tell me right now

Sainik: maharaj king vajramitra, when senapati vikrant goes to meet him he refuses to listen him. He tries to make him understand but he was so furious that he killed senapati brutally.

Now vikramaditya was also fuming with anger. He said vajramitra has crossed his limits today. My brother has nothing to do with his wife's death still he murdered him brutally.

He wants to battle then I'll fulfill his wish

Prepare for the battle, he shouts

Padmavati and shambhavi were looking at him terrified.
