What Never Happened Before...
It was beyond brilliant...not just your story, the concept and characterisation but your language, vocabulary, your narrative and the flow...at par with any professional...
And I have read part 5 and will make references from there in my comment here, but you updated just as I was about to start writing my comment for 5:
He asked the same thing I did in my earlier comment...how come his rule of mixing business and pleasure did not apply to her!
And this entire episode with Sheetal was his plan to make her jealous one that he got carried away by, making the mistake of imaging her in his arms...
Until she shows up as per his plan and brings him out of his rivire into a nightmare that might now up open up the mysteries if the past...
I am feeling bad for her, her excitement of being invited as his guest and the way he invites her after what the last few days have meant...her thinking about a possibility of a renewal of their relationship and then what she witnesses...if she is at fault for what happened 10 years ago...this sense of revenge will be his fault...for their present...!
They both are involved with each other mentally, and the sexual tension between them is obvious. He accepting his changing feelings slowly ...hatred no longer the first emotion he associates with her...
Their relationship rekindling from their their basic need to be with each other...I love that she realises that their professional relationship has an expiry date, I like the habit and the comfort of the telephone calls, the proof of their a acceptance of something between them but without dwelling into the dynamics of what it is...the way she looks and values the photograph for reasons even unknown to her...
I also liked her realisation that this political scenario is not his calling, he is happier away from it all, he even considers himself to be more at home in the US...remembering the past when he kept away from the family business off politics wanting to break out from it and do something of his own...
Shyam being the culprit her intuition about the vibes she got from him showed how perceptive she is and I am also assuming the way she handles the crisis has brought them closer and she has gained even more respect from him...professionally...
I love how the one thing that makes him feel calm is her, she is is anchor...his rays of sun on a gloomy grey cloudy day...they have come along way, he has surely from when he wants to fire her and now she lights his fire!
Whatever happened with them in those caves, him giving up for her looks like just a bar could have actually been much more to him considering his condition but for her he did that without a thought, his inability to see her tears...causing him pain are tell tale sign of the way their relationship has progressed and his willingness to acknowledge it...
But will the memories of the past continue to shadow their present and future...am so intrigued ...
