Agree with Khushi that NK's wisecracks about Radha-Rukmini and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham are the pits! The Khushi-NK banter was the tops: "And when were you planning to tell me? If you actually work up the nerve to ask her out. Before daydreaming about your wedding gown." [magnificent!] NK laughed. "I WOULD look good in white. Too bad my mother would have a heart attack if I suggested a church wedding." "And she wouldn't have a heart attack if you wanted to wear a gown, right?" Most probably not! She might be so glad of having saved her son from a church wedding that she wouldn't have minded him wearing a gown, might even have provided him with a traditional South Indian one [like the one worn by young girls]! I think NK and Akash should hook up — their shots are wide off the mark, and neither knows it! It's nice to see that Arnav can make the oh-so-confident Ms. Gupta nervous, on occasion. Thank you for making my wish, of having Arnav see Khushi dancing, come true… the description of her dancing was mesmerizing, so imagine how fascinated Arnav would have been by her talent, grace and the sheer joy she exuded while dancing. She radiated an aura of contentment and peace, yet she bubbled with... life, yes that was the word. He was mesmerized. Simple yet so vivid! Khushi's quicksilver change from offense to feigned ignorance is amusing, but unluckily it didn't distract Arnav. Khushi's terror at dancing in public or people knowing of her talent is palpable… stage fright is one thing but this seems so much beyond that! Whatever else, one can't help but admire Arnav for his ethics… he keeps Khushi's secret because it's her right to reveal it or not… little by little the mysteries surrounding her intrigue him… before he knows it, he'll be drawn to her to the exclusion of everything else… it's already begun: he'd gone to apologise to her but that fact skips his mind. Arnav making Khushi hyperventilate by pretending to share her secret with Pooja is a nice prank… as long as no one gets hurt, this kind of gentle teasing is all right… can't wait for the fundraiser which really promises to be fun! So, Khushi is feeling uncomfortable… hope NK's and Akash match-making efforts don't make matters worse for Khushi. Also, she is right to be wary of Arnav. A lovely update.
