It was late at night. Sitting on the bed and covering herself fully with the blanket, 13 year old kriya
was eating ice cream, silenty liting the torch for some light. She heard the door of her room
suddenly open. As it was a cold, windy night; she didn't bother to check. It was obvious the wind
must've opened it. She heard footsteps and felt someone take her blanket, covering both of them
and sitting next to her. She was about to shout when the unknown person put his hand on her
mouth.. "shh.. chup...plz...chilana mat mei tumhe nhi marunga" He slowly whispered. she luked
at him n tried to gesture to remove his hand but he wasn't understanding instead gave her a
confused look. She sighed and pinched him on his hand. He winced in pain n this tym she put
her hand on his mouth.."mei keh rhi thi apna hath uthao..aur tum kaun ho mere room mei kya
kar rhe ho?" she asked n removed her hand and continued eating her ice cream while waiting
for his answer
P: vo ye mera ghar hai..
k: nhi ye humara ghar hai mera papa ne khareeda hai..
P: haan par tumse phle yahan mei rhta tha..aur ye room bhi mera tha..
he said luking down..
k: koi baat nhi tum yha reh sakte ho..maa khti hai sabki help karni chahiye..mei dad se kal
baat karungi..
P: nhi bilkul nhi...
he quickly replied..kriya was confused
k: par kyu?
P: kyunki mei insaan nhi ho
k: oh acha toh tum gadhe ho..
she said n started laughing..
P: vo mei bhoot hu..
she stopped laughing n both luked at each other for a while until kriya broke the silence..
k: poonam mam ne kha bhoot vooth kuch nhi hota...angel hote hai..iska matlab tum angel ho..
she luked at him with twinkling eyes leaving the ice cream..n smiling..she was so exited n started
her questions..
k: tumhe jadu aata hai? tumhara naam kya hai? universe ji bheja tumhe? tum universe ji se
mile ho kya? kaise dikhte hai vo?
P:shh..chup chup karo...muje bhi kuch bolne do..mei abhi tak universe ji ke pass nhi gya..mei
abhi abhi..
before he could complete she cut him..
K;koi baat nhi..jab jaoge toh muje bhi unse milana..
she saw him luking at the ice cream..
K: khaoge..
he shook his head positively..
k: ye lo..
she gave him bowl n he started eating happily..
P: tumhe pata hai maine 4 days se kuch nhi khaya..par pata nhi kyu muje bhook nhi lagti..par
kbhi kbhi mann krta hai khane ka toh mei kisi cheez ko touch nhi kar pata but kbhi kbhi touch
kar leta hu..
she observed some marks near his lips n on the neck it was like he was bitten by something..
k: ye sab universe ji kar rhe honge but ye mark kaisa hai tumhare lips aur neck pe? lag gyi
kya?
he finished his ice cream n touched the marks closing his eyes..
P: pta nhi mei tab soya hua tha aur
before he could say she leaned forward n kissed at the marks..undirectly at the lips n neck..n
blew some air...
k: aab dard ho rha hai kya?
she said luking at him..both were justt mm apart from each other..
P: n..nhi..
he replied observing her features..she had two big black coloured eyes..a sweet nose, soft
cheeks...n pink rosy lips ..he too covered the gap n kissed her cheek..she sat back at her bed rest
n luked at him confused with a smile. She touched his cheek n asked..
k: tumne muje kiss kyu kiya?
P:kyunki tumne muje kiya. He replied innocently
k: par vo toh tumhara dard theek karne ke liye tha..
P: aur maine tumhe thank u bolne ke liye kiya..
he again came forward n kissed her other cheek..
P: aur ye..meri help krne ke liye aur muje ice cream dene ke liye..
she smiled rather blush..
P: tum meri friend banogi?
k: haan..
R: Waise im rey
K: kuch zyaada hi chota nai hai?
She laughed while rey stared at her
R: Arey mera naam reyaansh hai, Rey short form hai.. aur tumne muje apna naam nhi btaya..
he said pouting..
k: kriya..
Both did a hand shake..
K: acha aab muje sona hai kal school bhi hai..bye gud nite..
she said n laid down without luking at him..after about 15 min. she turned around n saw him
siting near the window..
k: tum gye nhi abi tak..
R: mere pass koi jagah nhi hai..
k: sorry maine tumse pucha nhi..tum mere sath so jao..
r: kya ladka aur ladki ek sath..
k: kya? tum pagal ho kya? muma papa bhi toh ek sath sote toh kya hua..chup chap idar aake
so jao..vrna..mei bat nhi karungi..
r: acha aata hu..
he laid beside her uncomfortably..n to make him more uncomfortable..kriya hugged him n hide
her face in the crook of his neck..he felt his breathing getting abnormal..
r: ye kya?
k: aab se tum meri teddy ki jagaah ..isliye mei tumhe hug krke soungi..
before he could say anything ..she drifted into sleep...he kissed her forehead n too layed down...
days passed n kriyaansh became good friends..her mom was shocked to c kriya getting up by
herself and do everything but all thanks to rey..kriya's parents had saw her talking
to someone but they couldn't see the person and on asking, they would come to know she is
talking to her angel friend reyaansh..they got worried n went to doctor.
The doctor declared that it's just an illusion, some cases wen u have no friend the person make
will make an imaginary one... ( i know maine bichare bachoo ko bhi nhi choda😆)
kriya's parents decided to send her to another city so that she can over come this illusion. She
protested alot but her parent's didn't agreed. The day wen she was going, her train got canceled
as many trains were struck due to land slide. After that wenever they tried to send her, something
would happen so they finally accepted their defeat.
Months and years passed and kriyaansh became best of friends. They were now 17. Every
rakshabandhan rey would hide as kriya always ran behind him to tie rakhi and at last wen the
festival was over he would make her happy by pampering her with all sorts.

It was the month of February. 14th february, valentines day. Rey woke up at 12 n saw kriya's face.
She looked so cute n sweet. He kissed her forehead n murmured "happy valentine's day" under
his breath and laid down. Kriya smiled in her sleep as she felt his presence. Next day kriya woke
up and went to her school while rey followed her. On that day, a guy proposed kriya to which she
gladly accepted as she also liked him too. Rey who saw this was hurt. Here he was planning to
finally tell her but now his chance was over.

mera chance tha hi kab. Mei kaise bhool gya ki mei insaan nhi hu. Mei toh ek..ek bhoot hu...aur
mei kriya se pyar nhi..par koi itni pyari ladki se pyar kaise nhi karega..
nhi..muje apni feelings ko control krna hoga..vrna mei kriya ko hamesha ke liye kho dunga..
but I Love U kriya...tumhare liye kuch bhi karunga..aur aab muje jana hoga

After school kriya went home happily. The whole day, rey avoided her. Finally it was night and
kriya caught rey at terrace.
kriya: caught u..
she hugged him from behind but he didn't reply nor responded..
kriya: reyaansh kya hua?
rey: kuch nhi..
kriya: acha muje tumhe kuch btana hai vo..vo muje vo saurav ne propose kiya..
She said trying to hide her blush.
rey: congratz kriya i'm very happy for u
saying this he hugged her faking a smile all tym but kriya observed he was not happy. She pulled
back And looked at him. She cupped his face.
kriya: kya hua?
rey: kuch nhi
he removed her hands...
kriya: pakka..
rey: haan pakka..
kriya: theek hai tum nhi btana chahte toh itz ok. mei hu hi kaun..
rey: shh...kisne kha tum meri kuch nhi ho..tum meri sab kuch ho ...meri frnd mera"pyar"
he whispered the last word such that it was only audible to him.
kriya: toh fir batao na..
rey: bas aaj apni family ko bahut miss kar rha hu..
kriya: hey abhi toh tumne kha mei tumhari family hu...
she pouted..he smiled. she looked so cute wen she made such faces...
rey; muje ek ladki se pyar ho gya hai..
he waited n turned opposite to her as he want to know whatz her reaction..on not getting any
response he luked at her n saw her luking at him mouth open..
rey: kya hua?
kriya: tumhe pyar..
n she started laughing..he luked at her nodding..
kriya(still laughing): tumhe kaise pyar ho skta hai?
rey: kyu muje kyu pyar nhi ho skta?
kriya: tum insaan thodi na ho tum angel ho pyar kaise kar skte ho..
that was it..this pricked him. He looked at her hurtful and turned to the other side. kriya noticed
this and went in front of him..
kriya: sorry rey..mei tumhe hurt nhi krna chahti thi..
rey: tumne muje hurt nhi kiya..tumne jo kha sach kha...mei insaan nhi hu..toh pyaar nhi kar
skta.
kriya: rey plz.. u knw i didn't mean it...acha batao kaun hai vo lucky ladki..
rey: lucky nhi unlucky vo bhi thi..mei usse nhi bataunga..
kriya: vo insaan hai?
rey: haan..
kriya: fir toh tum usse mat hi batao..vo shock ke marei mar jaugi..
rey luked at her angrily n shouted
rey: chup, janti kya ho tum uske barei mei..she is the best n usse pta hai mei inssaaan nhi..
kriya: what? but ye baat oh sirf muje pta thi..
Kriya also felt hurt as she thought she was the only close one in reys life. She looked up and
awaited for reys response.
rey: but aabb usse bhi pta hai..coz i love her..
kriya: i'm sorry, par tum uske liye muje chod doge?
she wanted to know..though she knew he'll never leaVE HER, but his words shocked her..
rey: haan...tumhe meri zrurt nhi hai aab..
kriya: maine toh aisa nhi kha..
rey: but muje pata hai..usse meri zarurat hai..
kriya: n agar muje tumhari zarurat hui toh..agar mei kaho tum nhi jao toh
REy: Tumhare liye saurav haina vo tumhara dhyaan rakehga...
kriya: matlab tum nhi..
she said as tear rolled down her eyes..
rey: no...vaise bhi ek na ek din muje jana hi tha toh vhi shi...
kriya: theek hai thank u mera sth dene ke liye...mera frnd banne ke liye..aaj ke baad kabhi
tumhari help nhi lungi..jao uske pass..
she turned to leave wen rey call her..
rey: kriya muje muje..
kriya: jo bolna hai jaldi bolo tym nhi hai mere pass...
rey: tumhe pata hai mei insaan nhi hu toh kya um muje universe ji ke pass nhi bhejna
chahogi..
kriya: haan rey muje pata hai tum kis cheez ki baat kar rhe ho..mei dad se keh ke tumhari
mukti ke liye puja rakhwaungi..par uske liye tumhe unke samne aana padega..
aur agar tum chaho toh us ladki ko jaa ke bol do..
rey: tum mere liye prathna?
kriya: mei tumhari lagti kya hua? cha mei chalti hu..
she ran from there to her room n cried while rey fell down on his kness...
Rey: tum mera sab kuch ho kriya..tumhari jagah koi nhi le sakta koi nhi...

nxt day kriya told her parents everthing but they didn't believe..finally rey came in front of her n they
were shocked..aftr alot of inistence frm kriya they agreed so
that there daughter will be free from him too..pooja was sheduled for evening...rey talked to kriya's
parent that he want kriya to do pooja..her parents wwere a li'l
scared but agreed..n even kriya agreed to fulfill his wish but never talk to him..
In the evening pandit ji came n started the puja while rey was sitting aside lost sumwhere, not
visible to anyone apart from kriya. His photo wen he was 13 was there on a table with a mala
which they found in the store room. Finally kriya arrived. Both looked at each other. Rey was sad
to see her like that. She looked dull. There were dried tears on her face, her eyes which always
twinkled were puffed red. She luked away from him controling her tears n sat at the puja place
doing all the things which pandit ji told. As the pooja got over, kriya spoke "mei rey ko mukti deti
hu.." both were in tears and in no time.. rey was gone...
She looked where she lastly sat and cried her heart out. Her mother tried to console her but
pushing her she went to her room. That whole day she didn't come out of her room even not for
dinner. Late night, she also broke up wid saurav due to some misunderstandings.
The next day unwillingly; she got ready for school and was going wen she saw her dud vala(milk
man) looking at her. She went near him and caught his gaze. He was luking at rey's pic whch
was hanged on the wall.
kriya: uncle kya hua?
dud vala: beta ye?
kriya: ye mera vo..mera frnd tha ek accident mei iski death ho gyi..
dad vala: nhi...
kriya: kya?
dud vala: ye toh humare sahab ka beta hai jo issi ghar mei rehte the aur
kriya: aur kya?
dud vala: us din hum apne ghar ja rhe the tab humne dekha inki soteli maa ne inhe ek kamre
mei bandh krke rakha hai bachpan se. Uss din inke papa ko pta chal gya. Sahab saalo tak
bahar rhte the jab vo aye toh unhone malkin ko khoob danta aur sari jaydad inke naam krdi
aur agar inhe kuch hua toh sab kuch unke sotele bhai ko mil jayega.Par pta nhi kissi ne jaan
bujh kar ya kahin se us din inke kamre mei saamp ghus gya aur jab pta chla toh inki maut ho
chuki thi..bahut shrarti the ye..apne dil ki baat kisi ko btaya nhi krte te kisi kapi(copy/dairy) mei
apne dil ki baat likha krte the...par inki photo aab?
kriya was just rewinding her n his memories wen she asked him kaisa laggi n dard hota hai..n
dat he loved a girl..she felt dat grl was her for the first tym. dud vala bhaiya bought her back to
senses saying he had to go to other homes..kriya's parents heard all the convo as they were
cuming to pay him..her mom called her...
kriya's mom: kriya..
kriya: maa rey..
she left her sentence incomplete as she was crying badly.
kriya's dad: beta bahut der ho chuki hai vo chala gya..
kriya: NAHI!
she shouted angrily..
kriya: mei usse itni aasani se nhi..uski dairy haan..
she threw her bag aside n went to store room..after about searching for two hours she found his
dairy in that dusty place..she didn't even bother to go out of that dirty place to read. she sat there
and read it. yea she was rite he loved her...just b'coz she was in love or say it was just a crush of
hers, he didn't say his feelings. He was scared that she'll break his heart and laugh and here the
same happend. Though he was a ghost but he never forgot to write the dairy and the other truth
was his mom had killed him by adding sleeping pills to his food and then leaving a snake at the
same tym. It was night and she was still crying coz of the guilt in the store room wen her mom
came.
kriya's mom: kriya bas beta...
kriya: sab meri galti hai maa.. i'm sorry rey...maaf krdo muje..
kriya's mom: bas beta chup...dkho usse pta ha ye sab hoga isliye vo chla gya..vo tumhe hurt
nhi dkh sakta...dekh raha hoga tumhe taaron mei se, kitna dukhi hoga uski wajah se...
kriya: stars...haan..maa ek min..
she went upstairs n looked at the sky shouting..
kriya: reyaansh!! rey... dkho plz aa jao maaf kardo muje plz... I LOVE U!! sorry mei tumhari
feelings ko samaj nhi pAyi par tum toh smja sakte the na muje.. aa jao plz sorry..vapas aa
jao...
she fell on her knees crying...wen two hands wiped her tears n lifted her chin...
kriya: REY..
she was about to hug him wen he got invisible. It was just her illusion. She again started crying
and slept there only. Early morning when she woke up, she saw rey sitting beside her. She
spoke after staring at him for a while
kriya: kash tum vapas aate...
rey: oh hello mei yha hi hu..
he replied with his killer smile evident on his face.
kriya: wht?
she rubbed her eyes twice n thrice n he was still there
kriya: tum vapas...
rey: tum mujse itna pyar karungi toh kaise ja paunga..mei har pal tumhare sath rahunga
with that they both hugged like never before.
Kriya: I love u
Rey: n i love a pagli...uskaa naam bhi shayad kriya tha
she pouted..
rey; love u too..
Rey pulled her in a hug kissing her forehead one while kriya hid in the crook off his neck.
Rey was always there for her. They started a new life. The new relation of love between a human
and an angel.. The love which was pure and undefined.
