Arnav looked up at the sky, "I need Khushi' Sakshi needs her, everything's incomplete without her" He pleaded;with whom, he was not sure of it himself. It was a plea to anyone who would listen from above; his parents, Khushi's parents, her Devi Maiya, he was fed up of pretending. He could not hide anymore, little by little each day Arnav Singh Raizada was dying. Despite being around so many people, he felt lonely. At the end of the day, he had no one to come home to and share a sweet word or two with. Every moment he spent with Sakshi, those were the moments that Khushi was missing out on. She would never be able to get back these moments and Sakshi' despite having Lavanya and Di; they would never be able to fill the void of Khushi.

Arnav's train of thought was broken when he felt a light hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Anjali with Sakshi. He smiled and took Sakshi into his arms. Anjali spoke, "Challe?!" (lets go?!) Arnav nodded and they made their way downstairs. Everyone looked up and smiled seeing Sakshi. Arnav decided to keep the party small and sweet, just like his little angel, Sakshi. He didn't want to celebrate too much as Khushi was not with them. So it was just family, the Raizadas, the Guptas and of course Dr Vihaan.

Sakshi pouted as Arnav gave her to Nani. He smiled seeing her pout, it reminded him of Khushi. Arnav extended his hand back for her and she smiled. He took her and kissed her cheek. She rested against his chest for a few minutes and then he handed her to Nani again. This time she was smiling. Nani smiled, "Dekho itka khush hai ab' apni papa ki paas ja kar." (Look how happy she is now, after going by her dad.) Everyone smiled and Arnav walked to the side and sat down with Aakash.

Anjali kept her eyes fixed on the front door of the Raizada Mansion. 'Any minute Vihaan and Khushi bhabhi could arrive,' she thought.

Sakshi was getting sleepy so Arnav took her into his arms and walked her over to the table where her birthday cake was. Everyone gathered around the table and started to sing Happy Birthday to Sakshi.

Khushi looked at the Raizada Mansion and then looked at Vihaan. He smiled and exited the car making his way to Khushi's side. He opened her door and waited for her to come out. She came out and they walked in silence till they arrived at the front door. She took a deep breath and proceeded behind Vihaan.

"Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday dear Sakshi,

Happy birthday to you'"

Khushi walked in to the sound of everyone singing. She peeked from behind Vihaan, she saw everyone gathered around a table. That was when she saw her baby; she was nestled in the arms of Arnav, with her head on his chest and her thumb in her mouth. 'Everyone looked so happy' she thought; 'Di, Mami, Nani, Jiju, Jiji, Lavanyaji and especially Arnavji and Sakshi...' She looked and saw her family too, 'Amma, Bapuji, Buaji... they're all here too ' Khushi felt a tear running down her cheek, she wiped it away.

Vihaan messaged Anjali that they were at the door. Anjali slipped away from the table and made her way to Vihaan. Anjali immediately hugged Khushi, "I'm so glad you're here!" Khushi didn't respond to the hug but didn't pull away either. Just as Arnav and Sakshi were about to cut the cake; Vihaan turned off the lights.

Everyone looks around, wondering what happened to the lights. (A spotlight went on Anjali and another on Arnav; and then Anjali started speaking)

"Chotte, this is a very important day in your life, in Sakshi's life' happiness has no bounds today, but what I'm about to show you, will make you even happier."

Arnav was confused, "Di' happier'what?"

The spotlight on Anjali disappeared for a moment and then returned' but Anjali wasn't alone in the spotlight, Khushi was with her this time. The lights came on and Anjali knew she didn't have to say a word more, because Arnav's eyes had already understood.

Everyone's eyes widened with surprise. Arnav couldn't believe it, "Khushi!! She woke up' when?" Arnav gave Sakshi to Anjali and moved towards Khushi. He pulled her into his arms and buried his head into her hair. His arms snaked around her waist, not letting her go. She didn't respond to his hug, instead she remained still.

Arnav pulled away from her after what felt like eternity... he only pulled away because he knew everyone, her family especially were waiting to meet her, hug her... and shower her with their love too. Arnav stepped back, making way for everyone to come meet her as well. Everyone else moved towards Khushi and hugged her in turns. They couldnt help but cry, but after so many months.. this time, it was tears of joy. Their Khushi had returned and she brought a lot of "khushi" (happiness) with her as well. They all smiled through their tears. Arnav moved to where Anjali and Vihaan were standing.

Arnav spoke, "So this was your surprise. How long has she been awake?" Vihaan replied, "A few hours ago." Arnav smiled and hugged Vihaan, "I seriously owe you." Vihaan looked in Anjali's direction and replied, "Arnav, we're practically family!" Arnav pulled back and smiled at Anjali, "Of course' there's a shaadi in waiting." Vihaan laughed and Anjali blushed.

Arnav took Sakshi from Anjali's arms and kissed her. He looked at his two precious angels, his Sakshi and his Khushi, with tears forming in his eyes, he whispered into Sakshi's ear, "Finally your mumma's here." Arnav didnt know if she fully understood what he said to her, but from Sakshi's expression, it sure seemed so... she was smiling and was clapping her little two hands. He gave his angel a tight hug, right there he promised himself that he was going to make everything right now.

Lavanya came towards Khushi last and hugged her. Khushi looked at Lavanya; she had on a sari and had adorned her maang with sindoor and around her neck rested a mangalsutra. Khushi thought to herself, 'Toh' Arnavji aur' Lavanyaji'shaadi.' Khushi's attention moved to Arnav, well Sakshi in Arnav's arms. She walked over to Arnav leaving everyone standing behind her.

Arnav felt her presence behind him and turned around to see her looking straight into his eyes. She gulped and lowered her gaze. For the first time since she came, she whispered, "S Sa a Sakshi" Arnav understood. She wanted her baby. Arnav smiled and handed Sakshi to her.

The moment Khushi took Sakshi into her arms, she felt complete. She was a mother. After waiting for so long, she finally had her baby in her arms, she had always dreamt of what it would feel like to have her in her arms and now she was living the moment. She kissed her cheek and hugged her tightly. A few seconds later she felt little chubby arms caressing her hair. She pulled away to see her baby looking into her eyes. A warm smile crept onto Khushi's face and Sakshi let out a giggle. Tears streamed down Khushi's face.

Aakash announced, "Now this is a happy occasion'" Payal replied, "How about we cut that cake'" Khushi nodded and Arnav walked her to the table where everyone was standing when Khushi arrived with Vihaan. Arnav extended his hand to Sakshi but in turn she held onto Khushi tighter.

Nani laughed and said, "Dekho kuchi der pehle, Sakshi' sirf Chotte ki pass jana jati ti.. ab dekho, woh Khushi betiya ki pass chipak kar hai"(Look at how a while ago, Sakshi only wanted to go by Chotte, now look, she's stuck to Khushi) Garima chimed in, "Ma toh ma hoti hai' iss rishte bohut kaas hai"(A mother is a mother' that relationship is very special) Everyone smiled in agreement. Khushi held Sakshi in her arms and Arnav stood beside her. The candles were relit and everyone started to sing again.
