On the morning of Sakshi's birthday, dozens of decorators gathered in Shantivan making all the necessary arrangements for Sakshi's birthday party later that night. Whilst in the hospital, dozens of doctors gathered around Khushi's bed checking her and running tests. Khushi had woken up from her yearlong coma.

Khushi sat on the bed, looking at everyone in their doctor's attire running around her. She felt clustered, nothing felt familiar about these four white walls around her. One of the doctors broke her train of though, when he asked, "Miss' can you tell me your name, last memory and the maybe the date of it."

Her voice came out hoarsely, but she replied, "Mera naam Khushi hai aur jab mein hospital gahi ti' June shayad." (My name is Khushi and when i went to the hospital... June maybe.) The doctor looked at her and wrote something on his clipboard. "Okay, so Khushi, you don't have any memory loss so far. Your last memory was in June' you're correct, June of last year that is."

Khushi looked at him, he continued, " You've been in coma for the past year' today is June 1st 2013." Khushi widened her eyes and gasped, "one year."

She touched her stomach' it was flat, her baby bump, it was obvious.. her baby wasnt there. Panic came over Khushi's face' her daughter' where was she??

She questioned the same doctor, "Umm' mera baby?" (Umm... my baby?) The doctor replied, "Ma'am I'm sorry' I'm not sure' just a minute, let me get Dr. Vihaan." Khushi nodded and waited with her heart in her hand.

(**Dr. Vihaan Singh' Khushi's doctor and over time a close family friend. Vihaan and Anjali has grown close to each other over the past months.**)

*Before Vihaan entered Khushi's room, he called Arnav's phone but Anjali picked it up instead, as he was busy with Sakshi. Anjali was overjoyed to hear that Khushi woke up. Anjali asked, " Kya aap Khushi ko ghar la sakhti??" Vihaan replied, "Okay" and ended the call.

Vihaan knew that Anjali had wanted to come meet Khushi herself, but she also wanted to surprise everyone and if she had come, everyone would have realised that something had happened. It was only a matter of a few hours before he took Khushi home.

Vihaan entered the room with a bright smile on his face. He came towards her an extended his hand, "I'm Vihaan' your doctor." Khushi shook his hand and replied, "Mera baby?" (My baby?) Vihaan sat on the stool next to her, "Your daughter is absolutely fine' she's with your family." Khushi said, "I want to see her'" Vihaan nodded, "Sure' you'll get to see her in a while'. do you want to see a picture of her?" Khushi smiled brightly and nodded. Vihaan left the room to get Sakshi's photo.

Khushi turned to see a bouquet of flowers on the side table. She pointed to the flowers and asked the nurse, "Umm' kya mujhse milne koi'.?" (Umm... did someone come to meet..??) Before Khushi could finish her sentence, the nurse replied, "Everyday' they come, either the Guptas or the Raizadas, especially Mr. Raizada and Mrs Raizada." Khushi pin pointed two words, "Mrs Raizada?" The nurse nodded' "Yes' Mrs Lavanya Singh Raizada' she comes often with Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada."

Khushi stared at the nurse while she continued, "Oh yes and the daughter came the other day; Sakshi' she's too cute!!" Khushi didn't even realise when the nurse let the room. She whispered to herself, "Mrs Lavanya Singh Raizada?!' kya, ye kaise' Lavanyaji aur Arnavji? Woh.. mein' inki patni' aur Lavanyaji se shaadi'" (Mrs. Lavanya Singh Raizada?!... what, how could... Lavanyaji and Arnavji? me ... his wife... and married Lavanya...) She couldn't understand how Lavanya would do this to her'

She continued mumbling to herself while tears streamed down her face, "lekin Arnavji, ek baar nahin sooche ki main' Arnavji ni sach may mujhe bol diya? Hamari beech jo kuch bhi ta, sab kuch' hum'" (But Arnavji, he didn't even think for once how I ' he really forgot me, whatever was between us'everything' I'.)

After a few minutes she wiped her tears and said, "Hamari divorce ho gaya. Inko pura hak hai' lekin kya mein sach may inki leyey kuch nahin hoon' Aur mera baby' woh kaisi hogi." (Our divorce happened. He has complete right... but am i really nothing to him... And my baby... how must she be.)

Vihaan re-entered the room and Khushi quickly wiped her tears. Vihaan walked towards her and sat on the stool. He handed her the photo, "Aapka Sakshi." (Your Sakshi)

Khushi took the photo into her hands, "Sakshi' Lavanya named her Sakshi' " She smiled through the tears that started to flow. She couldn't believe it' Her daughter, she finally saw her. She was just as she had imagined her to be, and even more. Those chubby cheeks, her curly hair, Her Sakshi' she wanted to see her and hug. She had missed out on so much of her daughter's life. She didn't want to waste a minute now. She had to go to her.

Vihaan handed her a bag, " I'll send a nurse to help you get ready." Khushi looked at him with a confused expression. Vihaan continued, "Don't you wanna meet your daughter?!" Khushi smiled and left with the nurse to change.

Khushi got ready and while leaving she overheard two nurses talking; "She woke up after a year and because no one came to see her, Dr. Singh has to take her to her house." She felt bad that no one had come to see her' but she ignored the nurses and got into the car.

While in the car with Vihaan' she lost herself deep in thought that she didn't realise when the car had stopped. She looked out the window to see the car in front of the gates of the Raizada mansion.

Everyone at the party is in for quite the surprise when they see Khushi walk through the doors of Shantivan(next update)
