Yes. Lavanya was there for both Khushi and Sakshi. She really is a true friend. 😊
Thats why i gave her importance and named it "Lavanya?!" because she has a pivotal role in Arnav and Khushi's lives...

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on the last chapter and also on the baby's picture. Im glad everyone loved it. By the end of this chapter you would realise that the pace of this SS has picked up... So without further ado... here is the other chapter...

Chapter 7

Arnav filled the baby tub with water and took Sakshi into the bathroom. He bathed her, changed her clothes and made her a bottle of milk. He fed Sakshi and walked downstairs with her. Arnav joined everyone at the breakfast table. After breakfast Lavanya took Sakshi upstairs to spend some time with her, while Arnav went to his room.

After about an hour, Arnav closed his laptop and went to Lavanya's room. Arnav saw her fiddling with her phone while Sakshi was asleep on the bed. Arnav knocked the door and she looked up, "Lavanya, umm' I wanted to meet Khushi's parents to tell them about her." Lavanya nodded, "Yeah, you should tell them." Arnav then asked, "umm can you go with me, woh, to explain to them" Before Arnav continued, Lavanya smiled and replied, "Sure."

Lavanya and Arnav with Sakshi in his arms walked downstairs to the living room. Arnav spoke, "Woh, Lavanya aur mein, Buaji ki ghar jarahi hoon, (Lavanya and i are going to Buaji's house), they need to know about Khushi." Anjali, Nani and Mami all nodded in agreement. Nani spoke, "Chotte, janay se pehle hum sab ko hospital chor do." (Chotte, before going, drop us all to the hospital) Arnav nodded and they all left for the hospital. Arnav dropped them at the entrance told them that he would come in a while. He then made his way to Buaji' house with Lavanya and Sakshi.

At the Gupta House, the doorbell rang.

Garima opened the door to see her son in law standing on the porch; he turned around to meet her gaze. Arnav moved towards her, "Aunty." Garima replied, "Ji, aap yahan?" (Yes, you here?) Arnav answered, "Aunty, woh mujhe aapse kuch baat karna jati ti." (Aunty, i wanted to speak with you) Garima nodded, "Andhar aao." (Come inside) Arnav walked in and sat down. Garima then spoke, "Ab bolo." (Now talk)

Arnav cleared his throat, "Aunty" but before Arnav could say another word he heard a voice. "AAP??!" (You?) He stood up to see Buaji at the front door with Shashi in the wheelchair in front of her. Buaji came towards Arnav, "AAP YAHAN? ABHI KI ABHI YAHAN SE JAO!!" (You here? Get out of here right now)

Arnav said, "Please, mujhe aap sabse kuch kena tha. Please meri baat suno aur phir main yahan se chali jaoenge." (Please, i have something to tell you all. Please listen to me and after i'll leave from here) Buaji looked at him with a stern face, "Theek hai, toh bol varne mein." (Okay, so speak otherwise i'll) Arnav spoke, "Ji, ek minute main abhi aayi" (Yes.. just a minute i'll be right back) Arnav walked out of the house only to re-enter, this time with Lavanya holding Sakshi in her arms.

As soon as Buaji saw them enter, she spoke, "Oh, aap hamari mazak ourane aayi hai." (Oh, you're come here to make fun of us) Arnav was confused, "Huh?!" Garima then spoke, "Arnav bitua aapne phirse shaadi kiya aur baachi bhi" (Arnav son you got married again and a baby too) Arnav quickly replied, "Nahin' (No) She's not my wife but.the baby's mine."

Garima and Buaji looked at each other. Arnav continued, "woh mera bachcha hai, lekin woh Khushi ka bachcha bhi hai." (She's my baby, but also Khushi's baby too) The Gupta's eyes widened with shock. Garima and Buaji looked at Arnav, "Kya woh such ma Khushi ka'" (Is she really khushi's) Arnav nodded and took Sakshi into his arms. Arnav motioned to the baby in his arms, " Khushi aur meri beti, Sakshi." (Khushi and my daughter, Sakshi)

A voice emerged from behind Arnav, "Kya!!" (What?) Everyone turned around to see Payal and Aakash standing at the doorstep. Payal spoke, "Khushi ki beti?!" (Khushi's daughter?) Payal looked at the baby while Aakash looked back and forth from his bhai to the baby.

Garima spoke, "Woh, Khushi betiya' mujhe inko dekhna hai!" (Khushi, i want to see her) Buaji asked, "Kya sanka devi gaddi mein hai kya?" (Is Khushi in the car?) Payal urged Arnav to say something, anything. Arnav shook his head, "No, she's at the hospital." Garima was alarmed, "Kya, Khushi betiya' kya hua inko." (What? Khushi.. what happened to her?)

For the first time since Lavanya came to the Gupta's, she spoke, "Khushi coma mein hai." (Khushi's in coma) The Guptas, Payal and Aakash were in disbelief. Shashi helplessly watched on and Garima sat on the couch, "Meri bachi" (My child) Buaji said to herself, "Comaaa." Aakash held Payal steady as she felt like the world was being pulled beneath her feet. After a few minutes of silence, Lavanya spoke again. She told them of when she found Khushi and throughout her pregnancy she took her and cared for her. And then due to some complications in her delivery, she slipped into coma.

Payal turned to Lavanya and spoke, "Mujhe Khushi ko dekhna hai." (I want to see Khushi!!) Lavanya nodded. Arnav helped Shashi into the car and he left with Sakshi and Lavanya, while Aakash drove behind them in his car with Payal, Garima and Buaji.

On reaching the hospital, everyone saw Mami, Nani and Anjali sitting in the waiting room near Khushi's room. They had already visited Khushi and were waiting for Arnav to come.

Payal and Aakash took blessings from Nani and Mami, while they hugged Di. Lavanya spoke to Arnav, "Woh, I'll drop them home, so they can get some rest." Arnav nodded and took Sakshi and the baby bag from her. Nani, Mami and Anjali left with Lavanya. Payal, Buaji and Garima entered the room with Shashi while Aakash and Arnav remained outside so the Guptas and Payal could have some time alone with Khushi.

Arnav and Aakash hugged each other. "Bhai, you have a baby!" Aakash said, it still had to sink in that his bhai and a baby. Arnav chuckled and looked down at Sakshi, "I know and I've only known Sakshi for a few days but i love her so much, it's the most amazing feeling ever, I'm so happy that Khushi gave me this gift." They chatted for a while and they saw Lavanya return from home. She took Sakshi and sat outside while Arnav and Aakash entered Khushi's hospital room.

Everyone looked up to see Arnav and Aakash enter the room. Arnav broke the silence, "I know no matter how much I ask for forgiveness it would never compensate for the amount of pain and grief I put Khushi and you all through, But please'"

Buaji replied, "We can't forgive you, our daughter is here today somewhat because of you and your daughter." Arnav looked up, "Noo, blame me, I take the blame, but don't blame our daughter, please, she, she's just" Garima answered, "And when you were accusing our daughter, how do you think we felt?" Arnav felt a pang in his chest. He thought to himself, 'They were right. He could not tolerate someone accusing his daughter that he only knew for a few days. Imagine how they felt' when Khushi was accused'

Arnav spoke, "I'm just asking, just please, don't separate me from Khushi. And our daughter, she's a part of Khushi too" Khushi would want that you love her baby as much as you love her." Having said that, Arnav placed a kiss on Khushi's forehead and left the room.

The Guptas left the room while Payal and Aakash remained inside for a few minutes longer. Garima moved towards Arnav and took Sakshi into her arms, "Hamari pooti." (My grandchild) Buaji held her next, "Hamari Sanka Devi ka bachcha." (My 'sanka devi's ' baby) After so long, all the Gupta's genuinely had a smile on their faces. Garima took the baby and put her onto Shashi's lap so he could see her. A tear fell from his eye, his grandchild, if only he could have, he would have expressed how happy he was. Soon Sakshi started getting restless because she didn't know the Guptas; Arnav immediately got up and took Sakshi into his arms. She started smiling and rested her head on his chest.

Payal and Aakash walked out of the room. Payal took the baby into her arms and looked at her. She reminded her of when Khushi was younger. The same features, she was Khushi's for sure. Payal's smile dropped when she remembered her sister, she just wished she had seen the joyful, lively Khushi she had known...if only.

As the months passed, the Gupta's would frequently visit Khushi in the hospital and would go meet Sakshi at Shantivan or else Arnav would take Sakshi to them. The Gupta's rekindled their relationship with the Raizada's thus making Aakash and Payal take the decision to move back to Shantivan. Khushi's condition was improving and the doctors, especially Dr. Vihaan were certain that soon she would wake up. Everyone was delighted to hear this news as the happiness had doubled because the Raizada's and the Gupta's were also preparing for Sakshi's 1^st birthday party at that time.

Khushi widened her eyes and gasped, "one year."

Sorry for the discomfort... i just updated it with the translations alongside the hindi.
