You almost guessed the story..Well as I told in prologue...Meera's wait is endless ..so just a spoiler- 5th character -that i will be introducin next was meera's love.. he is dead...thus her wait is endless... but why is she waiting for him...sometimes people live in denial..and refuse to accept the reality...

I guess I revealed too much here..But I hope it clears your doubt. Meera is widow but she is not ready to accept that her husband is dead...On shekhar's part..I will be little cautious to not reveal much... lets unfold the story...😊

"Are you new joinee ", Amit sir broke silence of the class.

Meera checked the train name and number. It was correct one. Then how it could be'There must be something wrong.. He should have been here'in this one for sure'.It is Friday 4 pm already train arrived on time she was on time. Well she was much before time even when she had visited temple on way and prayed all along ..

"May be TT has missed it'.I should see it once myself''" Meera thought over a second'.

"Can I check the list ..Sir ..If you don't mind'" Meera pleaded to TT.

"Ma'am ,I am already getting late.but okay to your satisfaction the passenger list is also available on each compartment itself you can search in that"

Without wasting a second meera scanned through all names'..with each name'her heartbeat increasing in a hope 'of finding that familiar name'.. name that entered her life 4 years back .and changed everything once and for all...

So many unfamiliar faces pass through meera as she went from one compartment to another searching for list of passengers ..carrying a hope that was all she had..

Already half an hour had passed..and there was signal for train to leave.. Meera was still checking in last compartment list hoping for a miracle..

At a distance a pair of eyes were following meera's frantic search..Shekhar had arrived few moments ago

He knew her search would have started again .Somewhere in his heart ..he wished if he could just end it for all' He could feel moistness in his eyes.. a pain somewhere seething in his heart seeing how vulnerable she was'He felt helpless but somehow gathered courage to face her..

"Meera..." Shekhar called out ..

Hearing her name..Meera turned back..

"Shekhar' I am so glad you are here...I am so confused...I think I got the train information wrong.. Can u check or confirm with Maa or wait..I will call her and ask for details again.."

"No.. ,the details you have are correct'I already confirmed with Mrs. Mehra.." Shekhar lied..

"Oh.. then what happened ...Why Sameer didn't board this one'"

Shekhar didn't have any answer to that question'like always'

"Meera' lets go'" Shekhar replied..

"Where..I can't go right now..He will be here soon' "Meera exclaimed..looking shockingly at what Shekhar had said'

"You already checked all names'" He replied

"May be he will come next week.. Lets go ..its 4:30 now..and this train would be leaving any second'." Shekhar said softly giving her assurance and Trying to be normal ..which was hard though

"But'"Meera's voice got choked'She realized that may be Shekhar is right'. He will come next week'She might have heard wrong dates'.There must be reason..else her Sameer ..will not do this'especially to her'Meera sighed..

"I want to be alone for a while Shekhar'. Just give me some time''." Meera trying to be strong but inside she knew'she needed sometime to be alone'.as once again her hopes were dashed..

Shekhar nodded "I will be outside 'waiting for you'.." Words that meant more than their meaning'He only wished'that she could understand'.

"Hi , I am sameer.." Sameer extended his hand to meera'who was busy chatting with her friends'.

Meera looked at hand extended to her'and then face'There was something about him' which was pleasing to eyes'

"Actually Amit Sir had given your name and asked me to check on previous syllabus with you'"

"Oh Okay'Hi'Umm'I am Meera' Meera Sharma'. " Meera didn't knw why was she feeling so nervous'.as she extended her hand to meet that hand'
