Chapter 6: Truth or Lie????

It was at 3 O'clock that the 2^nd year students finish their classes for that day so Virat and Vaishu were waiting for Maanvi in the parking area so that they can talk with her this time properly and fill in all the details honestly to gain her trust. For this they even bunked their 1 hr lecture so that they would not delay on this matter. As they expected she did come to car parking area but they noticed that she was accompanied by Sandhya much to their disappointment. Maanvi saw them standing near the gate but ignored them keeping in mind the afternoon incident. Sandhya too noticed them and thereafter bid Maanvi goodbye and hurriedly went away from there. Maanvi was confused and angry at the same time with Sandhya thinking why she should be so scared of Virat and Vaishu and why can't she have a verbal fight if they say something which offends her but then she decided that it's better that Sandhya left rather than stay back with her if she can't stand up for herself. As soon as Sandhya left, Maanvi headed towards her car and saw that virat and vaishu were already standing infront of her. She was irritated seeing Virat smiling at her after the heated argument they had in the lunch break and she was somewhat feeling guilty for being hyper on both of them although she is still sure that they both were wrong in interfering in her life but she could have made her point them politely. Virat was amused to see her changing expressions while she was in the process of thinking.

He decided to break the silence and said, " look Maanvi I am really sorry in fact we both are sorry for what has happened before. I know we should have not said the thing which we intended to say in that way but still we want to say the same thing please stay away from Sandhya." Maanvi was all set to forgive them listening to first line but was again angry when she heard the last line. Virat saw her reaction and hit his brain thinking again you are spoiling the conversation with her. So he immediately apologized again. Vaishu interrupted," See Maanvi okay even I am sorry but first listen to us and then u decide what you want to do. I promise we will not say anything for you to do. You decide by yourself whether you want to hang around with Sandhya or not after I complete my story." Maanvi thought to herself that there is no harm in listening for once especially, after which when they will drop this matter once and for all. She simply nodded in yes.

Vaishu started her story: I ,Virat and Aakash are Best friends since school-days. Seeing Maanvi's confused expression about who is this Aakash now Virat butted in and said, " Aakash is also in this college. He didn't come today to college otherwise you would have met him in the cultural meeting which was held today morning. Vaishu smiled at Virat acknowledging his help to her in explaining better to Maanvi. Maanvi nodded signaling them to go on. Seeing Maanvi nodding her head as though she was the judge in the court who nods her head while prosecution Virat was on the verge of laughing but controlled his funny muscles while Manvi glared at him suspiciously. Vaishu was about to continue with her explanation but saw the exchange between Virat and Maanvi and couldn't help but giggle. Now it was Virat's turn to glare at Vaishu saying with his eyes to 'SHUT UP' and he smirked at Manvi who was still staring at him glaring mixed with suspicion thinking why was he on the verge of laughing. Virat wanted to divert the topic so he casually addressed Maanvi saying, " I know I am handsome Maanviji but please will you do the favour of listening to Vaishu instead of staring at me." Listening to his comment Maanvi's mouth formed a big ' O' whereas Virat gave a friendly wink to her and Vaishu nudged Virat to stop teasing her and seeing Maanvi's face turning scarlet due to anger (of course on Virat) Vaishu continued, "so we three are best friends and slowly I and Aakash started seeing each-other." While saying this Vaishu blushed seeing which Maanvi couldn't help but give teasing smile to her whereas Virat was rolling his eyes thinking how many days would you blush while talking about your relationship. Virat was impatient for Maanvi to know the truth so he gave a look to Vaishu which said "now can you please continue". Vaishu knew that now he was getting irritated due to her blushing so she immediately composed herself and continued, " we are dating each-other since 2yrs till now and we are a very happy couple except for the incidents that happened last year…" Now Maanvi noticed that Vaishu was feeling nervous to continue further and Virat squeezed Vaishu's hand in reassurance while Maanvi was thinking about where in this story is Sandhya fitting in. Seeing Maanvi's confused expression he got hint about her thinking and he also knew that Vaishu is feeling really uncomfortable to speak further so instead he continued," So the incidents that Vaishu mentioned were bad ones you see?! One day I and Vaishu were going to one of the vacant rooms where we wanted to discuss about project work and in that room we saw Aakash and Sandhya in a compromising position." Maanvi gasped hearing this piece because she didn't thought that she would hear such thing about Sandhya and that too Virat was saying it so casually. Vaishu whispered to Virat, "can't you be little more sympathetic and a bit drastic while saying this?" Virat too replied in a whisper, "You know I don't like beating around the bush and stretching the truth dramatically. Why do people need to do that? You decided to say the truth then just say the truth without dragging much". Vaishu sighed with defeat thinking that he will never change his ways for anyone.

Meanwhile now Maanvi understood the reason behind why they told her to keep away from Sandhya but her mind was again racing with thoughts and unanswered questions, " Vaishu said that she is still dating Aakash! How come after this incidence? Are they only punishing Sandhya for this? Both are wrong no? Even Aakash was at equal fault!"

She was brought to reality when again Vaishu started speaking, "So Maanvi we saw them like that so as any girl would react even I was upset and I couldn't believe that it was Aakash doing this to me but what we told you is only half of the incident. Aakash and Sandhya were oblivious to the fact that we were watching them. The next scene which we saw is enough for any girl to be on cloud 9 for loving such a guy! You know Maanvi Aakash was stopping Sandhya from kissing him forcefully. He pushed her away from him and warned her to not even think about coming near him in future." Now while saying this Vaishu 's eyes were filled with proud tears. Maanvi thought why not? Any girl would be happy for getting such a guy as a Boy friend but she also noticed that when Vaishu was praising Aakash, Virat was looking troubled. Now again Maanvi was hell confused about why he is troubled and again her train of thoughts started," Ok I got the reason behind these both warning me to stay away from Sandhya. But why is Virat troubled? And confused?! He should be happy for his friend nai? Wait does he like Vaishu in other way?! No no but they seem to be good friends. Oh God what is this one confusion gets cleared and soon another confusion starts! "

This time Virat didn't notice Maanvi's confused expressions because he himself was still trying to figure out the truth about the trio-Vaishu, Aakash and Sandhya.

I m confused why is Viraat sad now ...I mean I feel something fishy .is Aakash not a good guy ?? If this is the case then Why he is not stopping ...Viashu from seeing that guy...Aakaash and Viraat seem to be frnds ...Maanvi needs to stay away from Sandhyaa...Viraat's pick up lines are always my fav...But clear my confusion first

soo finally thewhole backstory is out but another confusion is why is virat soo lost at the end ..is aakash really soo good or did he see vaishu there and reacted this way to just show her and is sandhya really the one on whum yu can fully put the blame on <...
virat and mamvi reading eachothers expressions so keenly and all those glances and teasing going on was fun...and virat here also nt forgetting his one liners 😆
