Hello đ Some may recognize this FF and me (very few members i noe đ)
I discontinued this FF long time and now I decided to continue it again so ... here i am ...
FORGIVENESS IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS!!!
"Manvi beta get up. It's already 8 am. We have to shift today to Chandigarh" .
Manvi now finally decided to wake up after hearing her mom's voice shouting at her from last 1 hour. She took the photograph placed on the bedside table near the lamp keeping her eyes closed. She slowly opened her eyes to look at the beautiful photograph in her hand and she smiled. This was her daily habit since she was 5yrs. Manvi always felt that this photograph is the most beautiful and amazing one. If she will tell this to anyone then they may probably say what's so different in it. It's just a family picture which many families have adorned on the walls of their houses but this was not the case with manvi. Her soul lies in that pic which was clicked when she was 5 yrs old and went to garden in Mussourie with her parents. She always admired the smile on her dad's face in the pic and wondered whether he knew that after few days he will probably leave the family and say good-bye to his darling daughter permanently . Tears rolled down from her eye on the pic unknowingly formed when she was busy to shut these thoughts.
She heard the sound of the door open and quickly wiped away her tears which were threatening to flow enormously and kept the pic on its place and plastered a fake smile which she felt will be enough to satisfy her mother. " u r still on the bed I thought that u brushed ur teeth. Come on now get ready fast we have to leave at 10 o'clock exactly" told her mom with a stern smile knowing what her daughter was thinking before she entered but decided not to talk about that and kept the tea cup on the table and gave a quick peck on manvi's cheek then she left the room hurriedly to see other packing work.
Manvi freshened up and was ready in 45 min and went down to help her mother Madhura. They were leaving Amritsar to Chandigarh since her mother is transferred there. Her mother Madhura chowdhary is the history professor in MG college of science, commerce and arts. She has done the majors in history and is working in this college since she is 33yrs of age. Manvi and her mom shifted to Amritsar from Chandigarh after her father died. Her mother got the job has a professor since the principal of the college Mr.Tripathi knew her Madhura when she was his student in Chandigarh. After knowing that Madhura wanted to work after her husband died, he immediately offered her job in his own college which was then recently established and were searching for suitable professors. Madhura wanted to get away from the surroundings of Chandigarh, the city which holds all those good memories of her with her husband so she agreed to work in Amritsar which had a branch of that college. Now that she was promoted to the position of vice-principal owing to her caliber to maintain discipline and punctuality in her students she was transferred to main branch in Chandigarh. Mr. Tripathi asked her opinion because he knew that she was not comfortable in Chandigarh and was not sure whether she will be able to cope up there. On the other hand Madhura knew that all those old memories will come back but then it was always said that you cannot run away from the truth for long time and there she decided that it's high time that she must be ready to face reality and also making her daughter strong in emotions. Although Mr.Tripathi will help her if she wants to stay back but she didn't want to rely everything on other's help. She knows that he always thinks about her as a daughter and not to mention manvi his favourite grand-daughter and she herself thinks him has her father-like figure but she knows better that it is not always advisable to stay safe away from past and run away whenever it's trying to come in front.
Although manvi doesn't know anything about Chandigarh except that she lived there when she was small and can't recollect anything particularly but she knew that her mother's mind is filled with those memories. Manvi herself was not ready for this big change because leaving this city means she will have to say good-bye to her friends and college and especially Mr.Tripathi with whom she was acquainted with since childhood and who was more than a grandpa to her. She will also miss Tripathi's whole family who consider her has their own but she had no option rather than to wish that she will start her new life in Chandigarh with her mother which will be filled with happiness again. Maybe destiny has something in store for both her mother and herself in Chandigarh. She is ready to make a big change just for her mother.
