The doctors took Naintara inside the OT; Maan covered his partially wounded burn mark with his coat and removed Geet's pic from his wallet and without uttering a single word he just kissed her photo with his heart and soul.
He hugged her photograph and tried to find solace from it thus making Geet realize her importance in his life is so much that no matter if she is miles apart from him he will still keep her safe in the folds of his heart' a heart that beats only for her
Geet placed her hand on Maan's shadow and leaned her body on it as if hugging him as she allowed her heart to silently confess "I LOVE U MAAN"
Indeed true love works like magic as without voicing her wishes Geet's love possessed the strength to make Maan hear the unheard notes of her heartbeats'
Today Maan had successfully climbed two more steps to become the Maan of Geet's dreams by showcasing his SELFLESS AND FORGIVING NATURE'
Geet silently walked out of the hospital without making her presence evident in front of Maan
The operation was going on from many hours and Maan did not leave his seat even for a single minute
One of the doctors somehow managed to convince Maan that he too had succumbed minor injuries and it was important for him to apply some medicines on it
Maan however did not allow the hospital staff to apply medicines he thought of visiting their flat and to do his own first aid so that he could use this opportunity to change his outfit as well
With this thought in mind he stepped out of the hospital and directed his car towards their flat
After sometime
Maan entered their flat by using the spare keys as he was nowhere expecting Geet to be present right now here as he knew she was busy with her success party.
As soon as he closed the door of the flat Geet replaced the clouds of darkness with the blessing of brightness by switching on the room lights
Maan was surprised to see Geet here but the very next moment he realized that his Geet might once again misunderstand him as he was unable to make it to her bash
Without facing Geet Maan went and stood besides the window silently

Maan closed his eyes as he knew he had once again broken her heart by not making it to the most precious event of her life
Geet continued to walk in his direction
As soon as Maan realized that Geet's feet were moving in his direction Maan covered the burn mark of his hand by wrapping it with his coat
A feeling of immense guilt of being the cause of his Geet's pain was slowly poisoning Maan's complete existence
Geet held Maan by his shoulder and turned him in her direction so that she could see his face clearly without any hinderance
She was shocked to see her Maan crying; she knew him so well that there was no need for her to ask any question she knew the answer even before the question was posed indeed he was feeling guilty of breaking his promise and becoming the cause of his lady's pain once again
Geet cupped his face with utmost love and requested Maan to look into her eyes
Geet's one loving touch gave the power of words to Maan's silence
He held her hand in between his palms and narrated the truth in a very simple way
Maan: U deserve to know the truth; u possess the authority to ask me questions as well as u have the right to get an answer from me. In my past I was not aware of the actual definition of a beautiful relationship but your love made me realize that every relation, every bond should have the elements of honesty and transparency in it
Maan looked directly into Geet's eyes and confessed
Maan: Geet I could not make it to your party as someone else required me more at that time' I was with Naintara Geet
A tear drop rolled down Geet's cheek that defined her happiness as she witnessed the element of TRANSPARENCY entering their relationship
This was the first time that without her questioning him he had himself told her the TRUTH without any hesistance
Maan got scared on seeing the pearl drop shining on Geet's mesmerizing eyelids without any delay he wiped the traces of it and continued
Maan: Geet the set where Naintara was shooting caught fire. Your love gave me the strength to come out from the ocean of selfishness if I would have left a needy person to die in order to safeguard my life would it have been correct?
Geet didn't reply but the smile on her face was enough to declare the extent of happiness and satisfaction that her heart was experiencing at this moment
A sign of relief crossed Maan's face as he got to know his Geet had not misunderstood him
Geet moved her fingers to get hold of Maan's coat clad hand Maan tried his level best to take away his hand from her reach but before he could execute his moves perfectly one question of Geet forced him to stop there itself
Geet: U just now confessed that I have the authority to see and know every small aspect of your life that is associated with u then why are u trying to walk away from my folds all over again Maan?
Without a second thought Maan placed his hand in front of her eyes
Maan: My death can also not create separation between us Geet then who am I to even think of walking away from u?
Geet took Maan's hand and placed it near her shoulder; she caressed his coat clad area with utmost love and was just about to remove the barrier that was stopping her to view his burn marks when'
Maan: Pls don't remove this Geet
Geet: Why?
Maan: I can't see u in pain
Geet: Does it matter to u if I am in pain or not?
Maan: It matters a lot Geet' the fear of death is also not as scary as the fear of seeing u in pain; ur one painful sigh itself is enough to separate my breath from my soul permanently
His honest replies were soothing her already healed heart with the feathery touch of true love
She placed a series of innocent kisses on the length of Maan's arm and after what appeared ages her soul felt as if finally the blessing of life had once again bestowed the colors of new hope and aspirations in her destiny
She knew she was FINALLY ALIVE AND HER HEART HAD STARTED BEATING ONCE AGAIN WITH THE NAME OF HER LOVE'. HER MAAN' YES GEET'S MAAN
She allowed her mirrors to get locked with Maan's gaze as she posed a simple question in front of him

Geet's face was glowing not coz of the romantic one liners that was becoming a part of their conversation after ages but coz of the light of truth and beauty of love that was getting reflected beautifully in their blossoming relationship
A lot of things had changed from the past few days but tonight was a major positive step in their bond

Her touch surely possessed a magical bliss as Maan didn't feel any irritation nor any pain during the application of the medicines' how could he sense this baseless materialistic pain when he was drowned and completely intoxicated in the beautiful ocean of Geet's uncondional and pure love

The wheel of time continued to pass and slowly the night of eternal promise got decorated with the color of a hopeful morning
Every dream of Geet adorned the color of a mesmerizing reality when she found herself cocooned in the loving admiring folds of Maan
All of a sudden her colorless life was transformed into a canvas that was beutified with the colors of rainbow in it
SHE FELT SAFE AND ALIVE IN HER MAAN'S EMBRACE
She kissed his cheek and slowly stepped out of his loving paradise with a happiness that could not be defined
The mark of her petals on his cheek was enough to give a perfect start to his morning

Maan inquired about Naintara's condition in the hospital. The doctors informed him that the first stage of the operation was successful but now the major part of the surgery was just about to begin in an hour's time. This surgery was impactful yet risky
Maan decided to offer prayers for Naintara in the biggest temple of Mumbai before visiting her in the hospital. He informed Geet about his decision and both of them decided to go to the temple together
The temple was on the mountain side and one needed to walk bare foot through the stone clad path upto the temple and offer prayers; this was considered to be auspicious

Geet purchased the offering flowers and the puja thal for the prayers and walked upto Maan who was awaiting her arrival
Unfortunately Geet lost her balance and a sharp stone pierced through her skin making her skin to bleed but Maan was quick to notice this and without any delay he tied a cloth around her bleeding part and tried to give her some relief
Geet assured Maan that she was fine and she could walk but her eyes were unable to hide her pain. Maan understood that Geet wanted to offer prayers for Naintara but at the same time it was his responsibility to protect his lady love from the pangs of unnecessary pain
Without giving a second thought Maan scooped Geet in his arms and started to walk towards the temple

Geet was rendered speechless with Maan's gesture there was no fear nor any hesistation on Maan's face but he was confident about their relationship today and this was evident through his body language
They were celebrities and any act of theirs could result in breaking news for the media but today she knew Maan was least bothered about the world as his world began and ended on her
The route that they were taking was full of obstacles and Maan carrying her and walking was definetly not an easy task but not even once did Maan allowed his discomfort to get evident infact it seemed he was carrying his paradise with him safely and was ensuring her that no matter what path we need to cross u will always be safe in my arms

Maan's feet had succumbed minor wounds as they reached the area of the temple. He placed Geet lovingly on her feet and supported her with his arm
They gave the priest the flowers and all the necessary stuff that was required for the puja and very sincerely both of them offered prayers for the well being of Naintara
At the end of the prayer Maan requested God to forgive Naintara for her mistakes and bless her with a new life
Geet felt proud to see such a big change in her Maan today she was proud to fall in love with a man like Maan'

They took blessings from the priest and were about to go when the priest blessed their relationship to be eternal. None of them were expecting this as their purpose to come here was for Naintara and not for their own relationship
Maan got worried for a second thinking that Geet might get upset but the moment Geet's hand held his hand in a tight grip he realized that from now onwards no words no misunderstandings and no curse can ever create havoc in their relationship

With a smile on their face Maan once again scooped Geet in his arms and started walking downstairs
His paradise got the divine touch of beautiful colors as Geet rested her head on his chest' INDEED THIS WAS THE BEST CHAPTER IN THE LIFE OF THEIR BITTER SWEET LOVE STORY
