part 2c) the grip of fate!!

arnav huskily turning to her : you said something??

khushi: irritated tone!! nothing!!!!!! and sipped into her coffee as arnav kept glancing at her stealthily

arnav and khushi finished the coffee as khushi got up

arnav: so!!!

khushi: what!! and stared at him

arnav growled back: shall we leave??

khushi: why you asking me???

arnav with a smirk folding his hands: i thought it was a demand of courtesy

khushi: haha... then i would definitely not expect it from you!!! and she grabbed her book that was lying beside him
arnav: what the!!! your just unbelievable!!
khushi: haha!! for madman its obvious!!
khushi let out a sigh as arnav fumed and khushi was about to walk away when she tripped on a fallen branch of tree and landed straight on arnav who was still sitting in the bench behind...

she had closed her eyes tight expecting to face the hard eart only to feel herself gripped by two strong arms that was beneath her and held her by one at shoulder and one at her waist!!!

she opened her eyes to realize her place and was about to slip back when arnav gripped her more and her hands immediately coiled around his neck!!

arnav was holding tight to her with his face still in shock at the sudden moment of her fall... he had held her without even realizing he had!!
she froze looking into his molten brown eyes that were staring into hers without a blink
and he stood trying to read the hazel nut eyes of the girl that was in his arms!!

the entire park was throwing daggers at the couple who were still lost into each other oblivious to the world around them...

arnav finally broke the trance and huskily said: could i expect the courtesy now???

khushi realized and came out from the shock and immediately tried to jump down as arnav gripped her more

arnav: its not so easy psycho

khushi: leave me down and she struggled in his arms only to fail and realize he was too strong

arnav: stop swimming !! your not gonna be down before you say THANK YOU SIR

khushi: comfortably still in his arms: excuse me!!!! why should i thank you??

arnav: ha!!! you fogot so soon.. if i din hold you you would have been straight down.. what they call it in doc's lang.. your vertebra would have become like broken poori

khushi: i never asked you to hold me!!! and she tried jumping down again

arnav: you never aske dme to but you made me!! so better say thanks and go

khushi: even i helped you bandage your hand and got a coffee too... did i ask for thank you

arnav: thats your problem!! you want me to leave you you better do what i asked for!!

khushi: never

arnav gripped her closer as she held on to his neck: then this is gonna be forever

khushi: looked at him blank at his words as it sent a shiver down her spine and she : THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH and jumped down from his hold as he left her free!!

arnav: your welcome!!

khushi: keep it to yourself!!! how weird you to behave like this with a stranger

arnav: and how weird was that to comfortably drink a stranger's coffee and worst of all fall in the arms of a stranger and comfortably swimming too

khushi: huh.. shut up.. i gave you back your coffee.. forget that deal

arnav moved forward and in his husky tone : and so now should i fall in your arms to settle that deal as well...

khushi raised her hands to his neck as he bent back still smirking at her on the chair and she clenched her fists in frustration watching him smile at her and grabbed her books and walked away

she tripped on the bench again and arnav immediately jumped up from his chair with his hand strectching to hold her but this time balanced herself

arnav: carefulll

khushi stretched her hands: don come near me!!! i am fine and ran away never to turn back cursing him with all that she knew!!!

arnav stood there blushing at her walk away throwing and catching his bottle in the air muttering: pagal psycho she is!!

suddenly he noticed a small note pad that had been left on the bench!!!
he knew it was hers as he had seen her scribbling into it just sometime back when he was running around

he smiled and opened it and on the front page she had written the words! I Know I CAN...

arnav was confused and turned to the next page and it was written
I wish I CAN

he gave a weird look and flipped again and it read

i will right??

believe me!! i can do it!!! i just wish i can prove it!!!i just wish i can do it too and show them i am not any less!!!!

arnav remembered her words of the past

he walked back slipping the note in his pocket and thinking about her!!!! he knew that there was something more to her than what was meeting his eye!!!

khushi walked home to be welcomed by her favorite cousin JOshua sweeping her of her feet tossing her into the air...
he placed her down and her mind ran to the park when arnav had held her and she stood smiling when joshua waved his hands before her eyes whistling
she dropped her thoughts and hugged him tight with a big hi and a wide grin!!!
joshua was doing medicine too and was the same age as her's... they were equally briliant but circumstances showed him better but he never had that attitude and liked his sister than anything!! and when ppl around her compared the he had ensured she felt good!!! none had realized the impact it had made in her heart!!

josh: so madam!! done and prepared!! 3 days to go.. i came to wish you!!
khushi smiled: i would have killed you if not!! yeah i am doing goog!! not as good as you though

josh piched her cheeks making it red: yeah coz its better than me!!

khushi smiled and walked in and resumed her study!!
she came out to get her phone when she heard her mom and josh talking

Khushi mom: i don mind joshua!! let he tries if it comes good or not i have no issues!!
josh: why do you say that?? she has been studying hard

khushi: true... but you know na.. medicine requires more effort...she is a bit playful!! but of course i don complain about that!!
josh: aunty!! nothing like that.. she has her way!! i am sure she will rock!!

khushi's mom: hmm...
khushi's eyes let out a tear and she walked in to her study!!!!

meanwhile arnav lay on his bed reading through the flip notes again and again

next morning he got up and set out to the park to find khushi back in her position.. he smiled and continued his round... but she was strange today.. she din even look up once at him... was it because of last evening.. had he played too much overboard yesterday...

he walked closer to find her be serious into her books marking and highlighting ... tension and worry was visible in the shivering hands and sweating creases of her forehead!!

he went closer and she seeing him moved giving him place and he smiled and slipped to the seat beside her

arnav: i am sorry!!

she looked up : for what

arnav: for last morning... i was just

khushi : its okay... i knew u were playing and she buried her face into her books..
arnav: are you oookay??

khushi looked up suprised and nodded with a slight smile and went back to work!!
arnav kept looking at her wondering if he was disturbing her... but he looked at her and she had stopped highlighting and her gaze was fixed at the empty corner of the book
arnav: khushiii

khushi was shocked to hear her name from him and she looked up confused: how did you know my name??

arnav immediately realized he cant tell her about the flip book coz he had decided to keep it to himself
he immediately turned to the front page of her book in hand and luckily her name was there in it

he pointed to it and smiled like an innocent child

khushi: oh... but when did you see it

arnav: that day when you fainted!!

khushi whispered an OH and looked back into her huge book!

PRECAP: ARnav: mom i wanna say something to you???

anjali: even we arnav!! papa has finalised a girl for you!! you guys can talk next sunday and then everything is finalised!!

arnav: what the!!

anjali screamed: unbelievable na!!! one girl will even maryr you..

arnav: but...

arnav's dad walked to him: i am sure you will like her arnav.. me and mom loved neha and her family... she will be perfect for you

anjali: bhai say something na.. since you din like anyone mom and dad searched all sides of the world and landed in her...i just wish when you guys meet and talk everything goes perfect and wedding is finalized

arnav looked at the happy faces of his family and nodded: yeah!!!! your choice na!! always the best and anjali hugged her brother tight squealing in delight

SO how was it guys!!! i know i am updating after ages.. i was soo happy to have studied well that i thought i would gift myself by writing an update!! now plz would you gift me with the comments for my update!!! and the poem below was written by me!!!!! have a try!! plz don cry!!

Nice update.. Arnav n khushi have a little nok jhok. bt then again classic khushi tripping over n Arnav yet again catching her in time. khushi however is relentless refusing to thnk him even while getting angry looks by people around them. Arnav tells her unless he thnks him he wnt let go finally she thnks him and leaves.

Arnav found a note which khushi uses for affirmation n self belief n final note ws abt she has to prove them, Arnav figured there is more to khushi's need to focus so much n no he hs some idea.

I tho felt khushi shud take her mother's view positively since her parents have expectation there's no pressure so she cn study with a relaxed mind bt here khushi has brought on the pressure on herself to perform to prove others. khushi shud to this for herself nt matter how she performs tht does nt reflect how she as a person.
