khushi opened her eyes as the sun creeped in through the windows playing peak a boo on her face!!
she lazily grabbed for her mobile still under her blanket and looked at the time showing to be half past 5...
she looked at her sister sleeping peacefully with her headphones plugged in...
she got up letting out a sigh!! how she wished life could be as happy as that!! she looked at the pile of books half open lying at her sides... her legs were few inches away from hitting the laptop which looked dead due to battery drain... she plugged in the charger of her phone and laptop after removing the ipod ensuring its fully charged!!
she let the cold water flash on her face and finally felt sleep slowly leaving her in peace... she slowly slid the earplugs in their place and with a book in hand closed the door after her and her car had reached the park in seconds...
she settled in one of the benches after checking on it twice...
she buried her head into her book and got in action occasionally looking up glancing at the sight ahead of her..
the climate seemed friendly helping her a bit!!as the time went ahead she saw ppl of all ages stride past her... some alone some with family... some slow some fast... some were even seating as if they had had an arrest!!!
huh!! being a medico could make one go crazy!! everything seemed like symptoms
suddenly her gaze fell on a guy of six feet running as if he had to catch a running train in less than a second!!! he was wearing a green shirt that clinged to his shoulders perfectly and his sleeves perfectly revealing the biceps beneath...he had a bluetooth stuck to his ears though she could hardly see his face from the distance and the speed helping her get just blurred images!!
she let out a sign assuming he should be crazy and went back to studying!!!! she din know that she had been observed too!!
as the sun showed up brighter she got back home !!!
she heard her family discussing about finding her a suitable match!! she being a doctor and wanting to pursue studies abroad was making the search difficult!!
her mind went back to her coll days
khushi's friend: khushi... you know all our love stories!! in fact all of us have one...
pinky: i don have one... and hified with khushi as they were the only two friends staying single!!
lavanya: but pinky!! she is the one eagerly waiting to get married!!

her mother had felt she needed to put more hardwork as her cousin seemed to do it better than her... of course her mother had no intentions of putting don her daughter but she was just too practical with life!!
her parents supported her but she always felt they never expected the best of her coz they just din know she could do it!!
khushi was a bright student herself but having been with peer cousins who were brighter than her and the comments she heard as she grew up had pushed her to succumb to her fears !!
but nevertheless she was an easy going and a happy kid who liked to take things slow in life.. just that the comparative life was taking a toll on her and this time as it was one of the most importnat exams in her life it was becoming dominant!!
she at times felt she wanted someone to come and tell her that she was equally good!! she was going to do it great!!
fear was creeping in and she felt she wanted a shoulder to cry out her fears!!! so much that even the fact that her parents were planning to get her married.. something she waited all her life for for not proving exciting!!
what if as her mother says the true love she believes in is way too filmy.she cant find someone as mad as her with life. what if she cannot prove in her family that she is equally capable this time in her exams...she has always been good at them but still!! questions and fears were filled in the place of laughter and dreams!
she walked back to study to resume her connections with her books!!!

arnav walked in all sweaty and stepped right into his shower!!! the cold water ran down his body as the foaming gel was scrubbed along his body making him feel a relief!!! he looked at the mirror finally turning down the shower and he remembered the morning jog...
he had seen a pair of brown eyes watching him over... but the looks hadn't conveyed the WOW HE's So GOOD look... they had just gone sideways with the head and was buried into the book not to look up again...
hoe can people study in such early mornings!! mad they must be!!!
arnav dressed in his casuals and came hugging his mom who was arranging his breakfast!!
his dad was asking his sister who was glued to go back to study

anjali switched off the tv taking her place beside arnav as their mom served for them and their dad!!
arnav's dad: eat and go start studyin anjali!! and got up and left the siblings with their mother
anjali: huh.. bhai your so lucky to be away at america and visit home for hols...

he was there again next morning as usual to witness her again into her books seriously!!this had been going on for a few days!! she had looked up often to find him running and she went back to her books calling him a psycho as usual!!
her skin shined perfectly in the sun glistening as if on glass!!! he couldn't see her as a stranger anymore!!! and the rate at which she was studying he could call her nothing but a psycho and he resumed his running praying the gods to make her fine soon!!!
it was a sunday morning and she had been there earlier !! she missed her early morning coffee and looked around finding a 24hr coffee shop in the park!!
she let out a sigh that it was open and walked towards it and got a coffee and walked back to her place
her eyes traveled across the park and involuntarily searched for her running psycho... that's how she had described him to her sister who was cursing her saying she would land up with such a husband and she had snapped back sayin that thats the last thing she would want!!
she was surprised as her eyes finally met his but she went shocked to find them at the unexpected place... he was right next to her few inches away though at her bench sipping his shake starring at the sky!!
she finally could see him clearly!! he had a fair skin on his face which had the perfect features drawn his white t shirt was of course a perfect fit!!! he looked like a wannabe actor or something!!!
she actually saw him for the first time properly as he was sitting!!
she looked back into her ipod thinking to herself: whats wrong with this guy?? he can actually sit in one place?? may be he is sick...
arnav had sat there coz the other benches were occupied cursing the GODS that morning as sipped into his protein shake...the party that night din make him feel like running and he wanted to sip up the shake before leaving
he looked at the book she was having by her side and the shake literally popped out of the diagram he saw... it looked like the heart.. he vaguely remembered his 10th books!!
