I just love how you describe Arnav's thoughts and emotions... The concept of somebody taking care of him and someone relying on him is so alien to Arnav that Khushi's behavior continues to surprise him... n since he has been on his own for a very long time, it will take him a while to even try and open up to her completely...

Khushi is adorable... Khushi's concern for Arnav and how she decided to stick around even after he yelled at her just goes to show that she is not gonna give up on him anytime soon...

Wow that was amazing and mind blowing update, written perfectly.

Loved the way you described the ambience of the mela, it was written with so much detail and to perfection.

Wow love the fact that Arnav had taken soon many photos of Khushi and he realised she was so photogenic and had a lovely smile.

Awww bless Khushi found Arnav some crisps he could eat as he was not wanting to eat anything as he found everything unhygienic and Arnav found this gesture of khushi's very sweet and like a motherly care.

Wow loved the cooking in the kitchen part, Khushi was so funny with her non-cooking skills, especially the part where she had the huge knife to cut the tomatoes, poor Arnav got scared that she might lose a finger and had to shout at her.

Love how you always end the update with a lovely thought from Arnav's point of view about khushi, it's always so beautiful.

That was a lovely picture of the fair.

The sights, sounds and chaos that typifies fairs like that came through so well. And so did Arnav's surreptitious photography.

That was beyond adorable. Although mildly creepy. But because he is Arnav and has a British accent and didn't even realize he was doing it, I forgive him.

I really really like the awkwardness and the attempt to overcome it in their relationship. Relationships take work and aren't magic. It would be unnatural for Khushi and Arnav to fall in love overnight and get along like a house of fire.

With his damaged past and how diametrically opposite Khushi is to him, their relationship was bound to take time and progress slowly and with a fair amount of resistance from him until it starts feeling natural.

Their gradual understanding of what drives the other and how they'd both originally misunderstood the other is beautiful to read.

Of course Arnav knows how to cook and Khushi can't! She doesn't have to be a jalebi making wiz all the time!

Oooh! Pasta! Someone find ME a pasta-making-British-accent-wala Arnavji please!

I do love the baby steps forward! =)

(although I still ship Karan chachu and Lavanya di)

Loving it :) they way arnav loved her company and can lister to her all day and how he's cooking and gives khushi simple tasks but she's not able to do them :) thanks for the om can't wait for the next oart :)

Wonderful chapter.

Arnav went to fair... taken lots of pics including Khushi's which he is not going to hide from her... talked to her ...smiled... cooked for both of them... he is changing ... Thawing slowly... likes to look after Khushi.

Khushi is like a child woman... What was bade papa thinking of getting her married... She is not mature enough.

Can't wait to knod what happens next.

I swear I always read your stories before the PM, I'm that hooked! A lot of refreshing and staring at my IPhone LOL

Great descriptive imagery in the beginning, I kept thinking about Khabi Khushi Gabhi Gham, especially that scene where Rahul and Anjali are escorting their younger siblings at the fair. That was the fair I was picturing in my mind

I got hungry after reading this chapter ahhahaha, I so badly want some street food right now. I see we're at a phase where the two can rib each other a little bit. The wheels are in motion for sure! Khushi's inability to cook could be a factor in their closeness, Arnav could give the girl a few private lessons ;) Khushi has started to notice other girls eyeing Arnav, I wonder if we will get a college scene soon where Arnie boy shows up!

Poor innocent, naive Arnav..he won't know what hit him ahhahaha. It's upsetting to see Arnav just come to terms with having a subpar life. Almost like any happiness is just a tease dangling infront of his face

Amazing update!!

Arnav and Khushi's day trip to the fair was so beautiful.. Arnav didn't realize how many photos he took of Khushi.. She cared so much for him that she didn't eat until he ate..

Love the whole dinner scene where he cooked for her and she just talked...

This is progressing so well..
