Realization of the UNBELIEVABLE FACTS! (2)

~~~Jeevika's point of view~~~~

I have been waiting for my dad for the past 1 hour.

He told me that he will take me out for dinner today.

I am quite excited as these type of chances come really rare for me.

Finally I heard the gate being opened and I knew it was my dad.

The servants opened the door for him.

He entered,I slowly went and hugged him as always I do showing my love for him.

He reciprocated the hug and told, "My princess, please wait for 5 minutes.I will freshen up fast and then let's go."

"Yes dad", As always I agreed.

He went to his room while I sat there with the TV remote.

I decided to watch TV till my dad comes.

The programmes were not much interesting ,so I just sat there flipping through the channels.A flash and breaking news caught my eyes in the news channel.

"The famous lawyer Viren Vadhera's dead body has been found in a lake being tied up.It is said to be a murder and the police has started their investigation."

I was pretty shocked after seeing that news, he was a young man and very successful in his carrier as a lawyer.

Just yesterday I heard that he gave capital punishment to one of the rapists.

I felt really proud for him and now I am feeling sorry and sad for him.

I cursed the person who killed him in my mind even though I haven't even met him. It seemed as if I had an instant liking towards him.

But what say? He is already dead and in no means I can love him.

I made up my mind just to forget about him.

My dad came fast and told me to wait since he had to make some important calls. I agreed and again sat there.

Just then I noticed that the windows of dad's room were open and thought to close them since there were signs of rain and if it remains open raindrops may reach inside.

I slowly went in the room and closed the windows.

Just then my eyes fell on the shirt my dad had been wearing when he entered the house.

Some drops of BLOOD were seen on the shirt.

I became tensed that what had happened to him.

I instantly went towards him and asked in a very sweet yet strict way, "Dad, what happened, why there is drops of blood on your shirt. Did you fall somewhere? "

He replied but I could easily understand that he was trying to hide something from me, "Wo beta, actually..." He was trying to find some excuses.

I again asked, "Actually??"

His sound became bold, "Why should I hide something from my princess? To be honest beta, I had to kill that lawyer who took the case against us in the court."

It was a sudden shock for me. My dad killed somebody! How could he? How could he send away an innocent soul from this world? I felt cheated, distrusted and oddly ashamed.

In utmost shock I asked, "Dad, how could you? Did you really kill him?"

Still, he replied in a cool manner, "I tried my level best not to do it beta, but he was so stubborn that he wanted to die. I warned him many times but he didn't leave the case. I didn't had any way but just to kill him."

I could feel rage filling my body and tears filling my eyes.

It seemed as if I lost my dear dad forever.

He was never like this. He was innocent, sweet and caring.

He loved me, he was my dear dad.

But now not, now he is an animal who take away other's lives without asking them. I hate him.

I could feel hatred building in me, I shouted, "I feel ashamed to say that you are my dad. No, you are not my dad. You are a stranger, just a stranger for me. I hate you. I hate you Mr.Malhotra."

And I rushed into my room crying my heart out.

I jumped onto the bed covering my head with the pillow without being able to realize the UNBELIEVABLE FACT that my dear dad is no more.
