He was grateful to Khushi letting him stay over for the night. Arnav smirked thinking back to all the times Khushi's helped him out of the most stickiest situations. Some he couldn't even remember. Khushi was a total gem of a friend to Arnav.Thank god for her!

It was then all of a sudden Khushi burst in with a tray of food with a bright smile on her face.

Khushi chirped: "Rise and shine! Arnav for god's sake sit up! You gotta eat this, take a shower and-"

Arnav wasn't listening. Khushi had cooked...COOKED! There was pancakes, syrup, fruit and a small glass of orange juice.

Arnav shocked: " You...made this?"

Khushi nodded proudly: " Yep!"

Arnav raised his eyebrows: " Really!?!?!?"

Khushi playfully pinched Arnav's ear: " Yes duffo!! I did!...*shrugging her shoulders* It took me an hour to get it right, but yeah * smiles shyly* I got there in the end."

Arnav didn't know whether to be frightened or praising. But he certainly wasn't going to turn this down. He tucked in making Khushi hold her breath waiting for his verdict.

Khushi: " Sooo?"

Arnav: " It's terrible!!!"

Khushi's jaw dropped. Arnav laughed at Khushi's face: " I'm joking! It's really good. Delicioso! Thanks sweetheart."

Khushi sighed with relief with her hear somersaulting at Arnav's compliment. Even though Arnav saw her as only a friend she couldn't stop her heart doing a jig for joy.

Khushi changed the subject quickly before Arnav noticed her blushing.

Khushi: " Urm...Oh yeah I spoke to Arav earlier about the test coming up on micro economics and-"

She paused noticing Arnav pause eating.

Khushi frowned: " What is it?"

Arnav whispered: " I forgot about that test coming up."

Khushi's eyes widened: " WHAT!??! *angrily* I knew it! I KNEW IT that you'd forget! This means you haven't prepared or revised for it right!?!?!?"

Arnav innocently looked up at Khushi with puppy eyes sorrily.

Khushi sighed: " Arnav!!! Ok that's it!! Sunday night, Wednesday night and Friday night you are studying with me until the test is over! Got it!?"

Arnav smirked shrugging his shoulders charmingly: " What ever you say sweetheart. I don't mind anyway. Spending time with you isn't that bad ey? * winks*"

Khushi felt like she was going to melt.OMG he likes spending time with me!!! OH Yeahhh!!!But she kept it in and displayed a sweet smile instead. Just as she was about to talk Arnav's phone went off. Reading it Arnav shot up with an excited grin.

Arnav: " I'm going to get showered and shoot off to college Ok?"

Khushi stood up watching him leave the room: " What is it? We got some time til class!"

Arnav shouted back: "Sheetal texted me!! She want to meet me outside college right now! WHOOP WHOOP! I'll meet you in class later yeah!"

Khushi felt that energy in her heart leave once more dimming her smile: "...yeah..."

She turned round to stare at the tray of food she made for him. It was half eaten making Khushi feel slightly made.Why do I keep accidently making that mistake to do everything for him...He only sees me as his friend but my heart keeps wishing for something a little more. Ufff my stupid heart.Khushi was suddenly startled as she felt Arnav's arms wrap round her from behind. She gasped too with Arnav's warm kiss on her cheek.

Arnav rushing out the door: " Thanks again for the breakfast! Your the best!"

Khushi smiled softly touching the place the kiss was still lightly printed.

~At College later that that morning~

Payal and Khushi were walking down the corridor with their arms entangled with one another. They were heading to their first class of the day.

Payal laughed: " Arav told you that?!?!"

Khushi giggled: " Yeah he's so sweet honestly. I wonder why he doesn't have a girlfriend yet?"

Payal thoughtfully before grinning: " Maybe we should look for one for him."

Khushi laughed: " That would be a shocker for him!"

Payal and Khushi arrived outside Khushi's class when they noticed up ahead was Arnav. But it wasn't just Arnav. Sheetal was there too with Arnav's arm around her. She was in her cheer leading outfit where the skirt was waaay too high and the front was wayyy too low.

They were walking straight up to them making Payal glance at Khushi feeling bad for her. Payal, Arav and the others know about Khushi's feelings for Arnav. It wasn't a secret the way she'd stick up for him, do ANYTHING for him. But it also frustrated everyone that Arnav was the only one who was oblivious to it. Khushi plastered a smile on her face as Arnav said hey to them.

Arnav handsomely: " Hey guys. Sheetal these two are friends of mine. Payal and my best friend Khushi."

Sheetal eyeing Khushi and Payal competitively smiled diabetically making a tiny effort for Arnav.

Sheetal: " Hey."

Arnav smiled: " And girls this is-"
Payal nodded: " We know who she is. Hey Sheetal."

Khushi timidly: " Hey."

Sheetal nodded not really wanting to mingle with Khushi and Payal before turning to Arnav with fluttering fake lashes.

Sheetal: " Arnav babe I'm going to go to my class now. *winks seductively* See you later. "

Arnav smirked as Sheetal kissed him firmly on the lips before walking off down the corridor with Arnav's lusting eyes following her ass.

Payal nudged Khushi before whispering: " Calling Arnav babe?! Really!? Ewww"

Khushi swallowed it down and smiled tightly as Arnav made sure Sheetal was out of earshot.

Arnav handsomely: " Sheetal and Me are heading round the back to spend some time together in an hour."
Khushi frowned: " But Arnav...We got another class then! How can you-"

Arnav waggled his eyebrows at her: " I'm bunking it Khushi. Cover for me?"

Khushi opened her mouth but nothing came out as she didn't know what to say. Payal nudged her wanting to indicate to tell Arnav no, but Khushi being Khushi who'll do anything for Arnav said...

Khushi sighed: " Ok fine. BUT only this once Arnav! I mean it. You know I hate lying. "

Arnav over the moon hugged Khushi close dragging her into their class, while Payal shook her head and sighed before walking on to go to her class.

~An hour and 30mins later~

It was half way through business studies and Khushi's mind wasn't at all in the lesson. While tapping her pen against her knuckle she looked over to her side where Arnav's chair was empty. I don't know what was making me feel worse! Knowing Arnav was bunking to be with that s**tty skimpy Sheetal...Or lying to Mrs. Jones who adores me to bits. Ohhh why do I always fall into these pickles!

Khushi silently muttered: " Arnav you owe me big time! "

Mrs. Jones smiles: " Attention everyone."

Everyone looked up from their desks to the middle aged lady who proudly stood at the front of the class.

Mrs. Jones: " Now class I have a very special announcement to make about a certain student in this class who has done what no student has done in this college yet. Which is getting FULL marks on there modular assignment!"

Everyone began muttering wondering who it could be making even Khushi curious.

Mrs. Jones grinned: " And that student is...Khushi Kumari Gupta! Well done Khushi!"

Everyone turned in their seats while clapping their hands with the teacher making Khushi turn full red in an instant. She smiled unable to believe it. Mrs. Jones called her up to the front making Khushi feel slightly embarrassed while walking up to her with everyone's eyes on her.

Mrs. Jones: " Now I'm going to take you to the Principle's office where he wants to give you a certificate for this achievement from his own hands. "

Khushi smiled thankfully and followed the teacher out of the class leaving the others to work. As they were walking down the corridor Mrs. Jones praised Khushi knowing she deserved it. Khushi shyly thanked her, but was struck with shock as up ahead through the window was the most horrifying image. Arnav and Sheetal were deep in a french kiss unaware of anyone around them!!

A variety of emotions hit Khushi. Jealousy, Pain, hurt, shock and fear!! Khushi felt a rush of sweat overcome her as Mrs. Jones was one glance up away from seeing them...Seeing that Khushi, the girl she prided as her best student lied to her. OMG Arnav!! What am I going to do now!?!?
