Aisha didn't know why but instantly, a slight blush creeped up her cheeks ….She also felt that she should say it now….so long she had been waiting for the right moment and today, she had got such a moment, of course quite unexpected one……

She turned away from him…walking a few steps away, she spoke up slowly, "nahi…sirf friends nahi….usse bhi aage…."

Her words seemed to have lost in a soft whisper….he got up from his place and walked up to her and gently voiced "usse bhi aage….kya Aisha?"

Aisha felt that her words were becoming short and getting struck within her throat…."aage…..[searching for the right word, she hesitates and then manages to just say] raat bohat hogayi…..mujhe chalna chahiye Sameer…

Saying that she turned and almost lost balance because he stood just behind…..Grabbing and steadying her from falling,

She tries to step to the side slowly but he grabs her wrist and stops her from walking away…..he smiles and voices "not before you finish what you started Aisha!"

Aisha lowered her gaze a bit and looked at his hand catching hers and spoke up "aapka fever uthar gaya, na?"

He didn't reply as she was asking a redundant question….she already knew the answer for that….He could understand that she was just trying to change the topic…..

She looked to the table and then voiced again just to avoid his question "aapko aur dhoodh chahiye?"

Sameer couldn't help chuckling at her desperate ways of slipping away from the main topic….now he replied sarcastically "bhukaar uthar gaya…maine dhood pee liya…aur mujhe kuch nahi chahiye except for one reply from you…..ab bas woh baat bol dho jisse main sunna chahtha hoom…."

Aisha smiled and replied after few seconds of hesitation, "ab patha chala ke aapne waise achaanak itne ajeeb tareeqe se kyun apne pyar ko confess kiya tha…..its so tough na??" [she looks at him and he nods with a sweet smile while she continues] harr waqt cases ko solve karne mein itna ulajh jaathe hai ke kuch dur dikhtha hi nahi…..dimaag se sochthe sochthe hum dil ko bhi bhool jaathe hai…..aur patha hi nahi chaltha ke dil kab kahan aur kaise kho gaya……Aur jab finally patha chaltha hai, tab bhi woh baat hum kabhi qubool nahi kar paathe….aur yeh dil ki baatein humesha dimaag pe jaakhe atak si jaathi hai…[thinking for a long moment]….hum dono ke life mein aisa ek modh bhi aayega yeh maine socha nahi tha….."

Sameer urged her "matlab?"

Aisha: [grinning trying to make the situation lighter] matlab aapko dekhe lagtha nahi hai ke aap ko bhi pyar ho saktha hai…[smiling]..aur mujhe dekh ke koyi nahi sochega ke main bhi ek typical ladki ki tarah aise sharmaavungi aur apne baat bolne mein hesitate karungi…..isse pyar ka side effect samjho ya special effect…..par kuch effect toh hai hum dono mein!

Sameer walked closer to her "isska matlab tum bhi mujhse…"

By then she had overcome her shy feeling and cut him short and replied with a naughty smile…

Sameer laughed and spoke up in a naughty tone "waise tum bhi kisi criminal se kam nahi ho….[when she enquiringly looks at him] Ek akdu ACP aur sadu ETF chief ka dil ko chura liya hai tumne….woh bhi chupke se……unne patha bhi nahi chalne diya!"

She blushed and smiled as he said that…..He gently chinned her up and held her fingers in his hand and spoke up

"So miss Aisha Kapoor, iss galathi ka sazaa toh tumhe milne chahiye, right?"

Aisha nodded silently smiling at his naughty question while he continued with a grin "aur sazaa yeh hai ke ab iss akdu ACP ko life long tolerate karna padega…..usse sambaalna padega….aur usse bohat pyar karna padega……bolo manzoor hai?"

She naughtily replied back "koyi option hai?"

Sameer shook his head grinning cheekily "nahi hai…"
