What a description of the kiss and their emotions before and after that!

You gave a blow by blow account of the first kiss and the first touch.

The contrast is so apparent.

She touches her lips and knows she wont be sleeping. He thinks of Sheetal and her reservations and cant sleep.

In hi angst he gave away some truth while in pain she blurted the whole- that she loved him

HAWWW! No I don't feel pity for arnav. I feel angry at him. he's hurting the poor girl. I loved the chapter, the kiss, everything, except that arnav turned cold. sheetal isn't central to this story so I don't really care for what she did or said. But arnav, he's gotta have more sense.

But I have full hopes that our Khushi will make him realize the folly of his thinking. She will make him realize what pleasure there is in a cup of warm jasmine tea on a cold evening.


That kiss took us the heights of pleasure just as much as its aftermath brought us down to the depths of dispair at Arnav's recoiling from it.

To sum up -

Right now A.Singh Raizada is a bit of a gaddha (but I understand where he is coming from. In any case, how long can one be upset with Arnavji? The man is too sweet to be upset with for too long)

Sheetal was, is, always will be a cow

Right now, Khushi is a gazelle, most unfairly hurt (but she is a strong one, she will breakdown the walls he is putting up)

Up till now and I expect in the future too, the quality of writing is exceptionally evocative in its attention to minute detail, be it character, plot, place, time, or emotions. Everything.


Every update of yours has transported me to the verdant tea gardens that I used to visit as child.

their first kiss!! it cant be articulated better than this...the way the base of the initiation of the kiss was written when it actually happened, it was simply surreal...
now coming to Arnav his inhibition and reservation is so so real!! how can a man will put himself on a line again to let another person hurt him specially if this 'another person' is so special that you cherished her mere presence in your heart and more specially when the hurt from previous wound is still raw..but little did he know the only way to heal the wound is when you let your guards down to that one person whom you feared could break your heart by a single look or word!! what an irony!!
aahhh and khushi said it!!! now i will grab a cup of tea and sit back to witness the rest...
