Shree happily turned to her side and slowly lifted her veil...He got the shock of his life...There she was sporting a toothy smile at him and a naughty wink...
"Liza D' Cruz, his only enemy was his wife now"
"Nooo" he screamed out...and she replied "no what Specky?"
Thats when he woke up with a startle and realized that it was all a dream...such a crazy weird dream!
"Me and her! No, never"...Saying that, he sunk back to his bed wiping his forehead still recovering from his worst nightmare!

Early next morning...
She had enemies all around and it wasn't hidden from her...Walking out of her safe zone was tough now...on one side were the men from the gang to which the gangster belonged...they had identified her long back and were on her trail...
And on other side, of course the ACP himself who was hell bent in catching her...yeah meeting him wasn't a problem but she had her own reasons for not meeting ETF for so long...She needed a green signal from someone...and yes today was the day...though she wasn't keen on going into light, she had no other go now because Arjun had blown her cover off! She couldn't remain hidden anymore!
She had to step out of that place...she didn't have a choice...Sakshi put on her pardha again just to hide away from prying eyes...
She slowly slid out of the door and locked it shut...she turned and there he was right before her..."pheeew..." she let a deep sigh as if fed up of this cat and mouse chase...
He stood there fixing his glare on her...and his facial expressions showed that he had closed all points of escape for her today...He sported a winning smile again and he wasn't one bit embarrassed of his previous defeats!
He spoke up "So, dear miss wrong number, all set to escape again, huh??? Tumne mujhe underestimate kardhiya na??"
She replied instantly with a grin "aap sothe nahi ho kya? Ya phir ek hi raat mein mujhe miss karne lage, huh? Subah subah hi chale aagaye"
Arjun sneered at her and replied "haar kar bhi jeethne ka effect dena koyi tumse seekhe"
Sakshi: aah aah...ideally, yeh baat toh mujhe aapse kehna chahiye na ACP sir??"
Arjun: harr game mein final baazi jo jeethe wahi hai asli winner...yeh baat toh tum bhi jaanthi ho, right?
She voice out as she looked around "yeah right..."
Arjun instantly caught her looking around, "Iss baar koyi chaalaakhi nahi...aur bhaagne ke baare mein sochna bhi matth..."
Sakshi knew she couldn't escape but she was curious about how he found out this place..."how did you land here??"
Arjun smiled sarcastically, "Ek galathi...tumne ek galathi ki...in fact bohat se kiya hai..par aaj jo kiya woh sabse silly tha..."[she looked at him enquiringly] "samjhi nahi samjhaatha hoom...tumne apna phone dus minute keliye on rakha...aur uss time pe tum ek hi jagah, yaani ki yahi thi...
Itne din, jab bhi tumne phone kiya, tum kabhi ek jagah pe nahi thi...you were moving always...aur SIM bhi bathalthi rahi...lekin kal raat bhi tumne isi jagah se yahi number se phone kiya tha na?? Chahtha toh kal raat hi pakadh letha par socha ke aaraam karne dehtha hoom..."
Yes she had to make those calls in the morning...it was important and urgent...so she had no other go but keep the phone on...
Sakshi laughed but mentally smacked herself for the slip..."ohhh meri hi galathi ka faydha"
Arjun responded sarcastically "agar tumne woh galathi ki nahi hoti toh bhi main tumhe pakadh letha...[answering her unvoiced question, he added] tumne kya socha, maine sirf tumaari naam aur patha dhoond nikaala hai...tumaari 9 member group ki secret den ko main kaise na dhoondtha Miss Sakshi Anand! [raising his eyebrows and pausing for a moment] ab unnke naam bhi sunna chahogi???"
Sakshi: brilliant work Mr ACP!!
Arjun ignored that and spoke up "ab yeh parda hattaao aur chup chaap mere saath ETF office chalo...wahaan sab tumaare darshan keliye intezaar kar rahe hai...kuch zyaadha hi unne daudaaya tumne!"
Sakshi: woh sab ya sirf tum Arjun?? Mere chehra dekhne keliye bohat eager ho rahe ho, huh??? Chakkar kya hai, haan??
[Her face wasnt visible but her naughty expressions were clear from her tone!]
Arjun was visibly irritated with her crazy flirting talks...he was about to speak something when he saw a reflection of a masked man aiming his revolver at her...
In an impulse, he just managed to call out "Sakshi, bhaago..." and he himself bent down and turned instantly and shot back at the direction...the man fell dead after the bullet pierced the man's head!
But the man had already fired and a bullet hit Arjun's left upper arm...the bullet pierced out of him and then hit the window pane just an inch away from where Sakshi stood...or rather was standing before...
She screamed "ARJUN" and came rushing towards him seeing blood oozing out...
She pulls out the scarf from her bag and spoke up in anger "isiliye...isiliye main ETF ke saamne nahi aana chahthi thi...dekha kya hogaya...[when she tries to tie it, he pushes her hand off but then she forcefully ties and drags him to the SUV] ab chalo hospital..."
He shrugged her off "main teek hoom...aur khud chal saktha hoom"
And he walked to the SUV...She insisted on driving and took to the wheel without giving him a chance...She drove with her pardah on...and it did hinder her at times...He sat right next to her and his hands itched to take off the veil from her face seeing the disturbance it gave her but then he gave up the idea and chose to look away from her side!
The pain was indeed killing him from within...the effect of the pain seems to penetrate further down and tortured him like hell... So he rested his head on the seat rest and closed his eyes!
She glanced at him a few times and sent a quick prayer to ease him of all his pains...
As if sensing her eyes on him, he looked to her side and their eyes met for less than a second as she turned away almost instantly!
At the hospital...she admits him and the doctor starts dressing his wound while she is outside...She calls up ETF and informs him that Arjun is wounded and is in hospital...
Arjun dozes off in a while...due to the pain killer and some sleep inducing injections...but as his eyes closes he catches a glimpse of her back outside the glass pane...she seems to be talking animatedly to someone over the phone...

When he gets up, he looks around...the entire ETF is in his room...and are eagerly waiting for him to come to his senses to know what had really happened...
Rathod comes closer and asks him about what happened...but Arjun's first question is about Sakshi "Wrong number, I mean Sakshi, woh kahaan hai Rathod?"
Rathod replies, ussne humein call karke bhulaaya...jab tak hum paunche, khud yahaan se gaayab hogayi! Paagal ladki!!
Shree takes over "aur nahi toh kya...na jaane khud ko kya samajhthi hai..."
Saying that, he looks around to ensure Liza isn't there around or hearing...yes she was in the office and not here much to Shree's relief! Aisha shook her head disapproving Shree smacking Sakshi! Afterall girl power hai...how can she approve that?
Ignoring the rest, Arjun spoke up, "usse dhoondna hoga Rathod...usski jaan ko khathra hai...usse bachaathe hua hi yeh hua tha...[pointing to his wound]
All are left thinking when the nurse walks in and gives another letter to Arjun "aapke GF ne yeh diya tha aapko dene keliye..."
Arjun is confused and mutters as he takes the letter "GF??"
Rathod replies back "haan ussne yahaan sabse yeh kahaa hai ke woh tumaari GF hai...[Rathod lets a deep sigh and turns around muttering] whatever!"
Arjun opens the letter...
"Sorry, I know kahaani adhoori hai...par abi mujhe jaana hoga Arjun...kuch important kaam hai...but promise, I will be back soon..
-Miss Wrong Number"
