Voice: [sarcastically] aah aah...hide and seek game toh shuru kardiya hai humne...lets see...
Arjun: beshaq shuru toh tumne karli hai...ab khatam main karunga...
Voice: I am waiting! Byeee
[The line goes dead...Arjun keeps the phone and glances at the list on the table which Shree had prepared]

He scanned through the list and his 6th sense told him that she wasn't going to let him catch her so easily and this list didn't have her name! Her firm determination while she talked to him showed that she wasn't such an easy girl! Brilliance and smartness were definitely her forte!
She was smart enough not to underestimate him...so he was sure that she would have played her cards well before throwing such an open challenge at him...She wasn't so naive a player...He could feel the confidence in her voice...She would be well prepared for his moves...
But that same over confidence was going to pull her out of the hide out, he thought to himself with a grin...yes he was amused and amazed by Miss wrong number...yeah, to an extend he was impressed by the work she did and the courage she exhibited as well...but that was no way he would admit it any day!
Ab kya karein? Humaare ACP hai hi aise!

Meanwhile, Shree, Chotu, Aisha and Liza have their own discussions outside...
Chotu: kuch bhi kehlo...ladki kamaal ki hai...warna socho...ACP Arjun Rawte ko chashma dekhe bhaag gayi! Usski himmat ki toh...
Shree: pardhe mein mooh chupaake aayi thi...so itni bhi himmat nahi hai ussmein...
Liza: specky, tum usske baare mein kuch na hi bolo toh accha hai...kitne calls kar chukhi hai, huh??? But you weren't able to track her calls na? Just accept that she is brilliant, ok?
Shree stared at Liza while Aisha spoke up "himmat ke saat kuch toh khaas baat hai uss ladki mein...warna aise information dhoond nikhaalna koyi aam baat nahi hai...phir ullu banana..."
Liza: [snapping her short] exactly...wahi word mere mooh mein kahi struck tha...[looking at Shree with a mocking grin] ullu...!
Shree: ullu toh woh saare ETF team ko banaa rahi hai...sirf mujhe nahi!
Liza: [sarcastically] maine toh tumaara naam bhi nahi liya specky...phir tumhe kyun aisa laga ke main tumhe mean kar rahi hoom?? [grins at him]
Aisha cuts them "ab bas bas...phir se apne tom and jerry matth shuru kardena...already ek tom and jerry game chal raha hai...abi keliye wahi khaafi hai..."
When all turn to her enquiring who that Tom and Jerry are, Aisha adds soon "arre aur kaun??...Arjun sir aur miss wrong number...wahi toh khel rahe hai aaj kal cat and mouse game!"
All the others laugh out...and Shree speaks up "Guys, tum sab ko kya lagtha hai??iss khel ko kaun jeethega??...[pauses and adds after thinking for a second] mujhe toh Tom ka jeet dikh raha hai..."
Chotu nods while Aisha and Liza disagree...and Liza responds, "no way! Yeh khel toh jerry hi jeethegi...yaani Miss wrong number"
Shree: [sneering] kya bet hai??
Liza: [challenging him] jo tum bolo specky...
Shree: [raising his eyebrows] ek baar phir se sochlo...main kuch ulta seedha keh diya toh phas jaavogi Liza...
Liza mutters to herself "usi ka toh intezaar hai!"
Shree: WHAT?? Kya kaha tumne??
Liza: [grinning] dekhte hai kaun phastha hai!
Aisha intervenes seeing their bickering "chill guys...jeet haar toh waqt hi bathaayega...anyways, jo bhi jeethe, ya haare, finally jeeth humaari hi hogi!
All nod to that...because, both ways, ETF wins...
Chotu speaks up dreamily..."arre yeh socho, mera matlab imagine karo Arjun sir, miss wrong number ko dhoondthe phirthe hua..."

Shree: waah kya scene hai chotu!!...SRK ke get up mein apne rani ko dhoondthe hua mast lagenge yaar!
Aisha and Liza shake their heads in total disbelief at their crazy imagination and look at each other meaning "yeh dono ka kuch nahi ho saktha!"

Days pass by...new cases and investigation set the team on the run as always...
Simultaneously, Arjun had narrowed down the list that Shree prepared, further and got down to check on the journalists...but he didn't succeed in finding her...All of them were working on day to day happenings for daily newspapers and magazines...heading crime beats of their respective work places...She wasn't one among them, his intuition told him! And he knew that his intuitions never betrayed him!
But yes, he had already predicted it that she was way too smart! And finding her was going to be tough indeed!
She didn't call for a few days...Every night, he expected a new call meaning a new mail with new information...but it didn't happen!

A few days later, a breaking news shocks the city...a new apartment building collapses and many die...
Obviously the builders and the authorities concerned are suspected of foul play...ETF gets involved to bring out the actual truth behind the entire incident...
And the same day, her mail comes up...she doesn't call but just a mail with so many vital clues and information which are evidences against the people behind the shameful casualty...It has details of frauds which happened, low cost materials used, bribes given to attain sanctions and permissions!
The mail proves to be the turning point of the case and ETF digs out the rest too...
Though the loss of innocent lives can never be equated with anything, justice is done and all involved are pulled up and put behind bars...
Amidst all the praise and applause which rain on ETF for the quick turnaround, Arjun was a bit concerned for her...why didn't she call? The note on her mail that "Not in a position to call now...hope you find the details useful...All the best!" did add to the tension!
It was the first time that Arjun wished to get a call from her just to ensure that all is well at her end...Though every information was served on a platter to ETF, he knew that gathering and digging them up wasn't an easy task...It had its own risks and dangerous implications...Such undercover missions always lurked in dangers...and threats to life!
The possibility of her being in some danger disturbed him! And his helplessness to help her out in case of such a danger, just because of her silly hide and seek game and her stubbornness not to reveal her identity annoyed him beyond limits!

A week passes by and nothing progressed in "Mission Find wrong number"...
Arjun was a little pissed off now with his own failure...The fact that a girl was making him a fool hurt his ego too!

And then finally after over a week, one late night, comes her call...
The soft voice spoke up"hello"
Arjun: hello...[there was no way that he didn't recognize that voice now...he recognized and added]...miss wrong number?
Voice: yeah its me...[grinning]...missed me??
Arjun is silent and is about to speak something but stops when she continues
"ok chill...main direct point pe aathi hoom...ek solid information hai jo ab tak aapke inbox mein paunch gaya hoga...[pauses and adds]...case controversial hai...so pls take care...All the best![a brief silence prevails before she bids a bye quickly] bye"
Arjun: [snaps out and tries calling her] hello...hello...
But the line goes dead...he was angry but his fingers were already clicking open the mail box...
She was right...it was a controversial one...she accused a famous hospital of operating an organ racket behind the facade of the super specialities it offered!
He took a deep breath as he went through the details in the mail...it was unbelievable and he had to also appreciate her for the details...he was plain amazed of how she managed to gather this much info...
She sure had a big network and all that so secretive and under cover...which escaped the eyes of ETF too!
He called for an emergency meeting over the case...
Rathod was convinced with the authenticity of the information but again, they had to take it slow...
The next 2 days went past for verifying the details and cross checking it once before taking any strong action...many patients discharged from the hospital were called and tested again and ETF got many such cases where an unnecessary surgery was done and one of the kidneys were removed without their knowledge...
And it was also clear that not all doctors were involved in it...Few of the doctors along with the knowledge of some in the management team were behind this...ETF had to dig out the real culprits and bring them out to light!
Once the details were cross verified and examined, the ETF team reached the hospital finally for the raid...
The team split and took up their designated tasks...Shree checked the accounts and other records on the computer...Liza was sent to check some of the medical records...Chotu, Aisha and Rathod went on to interrogate the hospital staff, doctors and also some patients
Arjun swiftly walked past the corridors searching for the OT and post operative wards...
A doctor walked past him...she had the surgical mask on her face which meant she just walked out of the OT...So he enquired "excuse me doctor, OT kis taraf hai?"
She turned to him and spoke up "take the 1st right...end mein hai..."
He had just muttered thanks and turned away when he realized that those eyes were familiar...
His lips muttered subconsciously having recognized her "wrong number"
He spun around "hey rukho..."
But she was already on her heels sprinting towards the lift...he just missed her as the door shut close on his face...
He instantly called up Shree who was at the ground floor to grab the girl exiting the lift and he, himself, rushed back to the OT...
Shree was at the reception and it was luckily near the lift...As soon as the door opened, he grabbed her and turned her around...and a shock struck him hard...
It was Liza who was standing to her back and busily checking few of the patient case records and medical history!
She lost her balance when he grabbed her and fell right into his arms...
"What the hell" she shrieked out when she felt a pair of hands catching hold of her all of a sudden...but the moment her eyes met the specky's spectacled eyes, she fell silent and they looked at each other till he snapped out and took of his hand screaming "TUM!"
And the same instant, she fell down flat on the floor...
She had no idea that he would do that...So she wasn't prepared for that and obviously fell to the floor when he withdrew his hands off her suddenly!
Annoyed with his antics, she shouted "What the hell specky?? [he was still in shock and stared at the sight below when she added] Ab aise gurr ke kya dekh rahe ho??? Haat dho..."
He helped her stand up...And their ever bickering mode was on again...
And no prizes for guessing this right...of course, miss wrong number slipped away from there also...She was luckily in the 2nd lift which just landed after this bickering started!

The racket was busted and the people behind it were nailed and taken in for interrogation...
But when Arjun found that she had slipped off from his nose tip yet again, he was quite pissed off...it was not at all happening...He was more determined now...
In the next few days, he did more ground work and had more clues! He scrutinized his search further with renewed determination!

A few days later...late night...
A girl in her mid twenties got out of the riksha and rushed into her house...She tries to slip in quietly without grabbing much attention from the neighbours or the people passing by...
As she tried to put the keys, she was shocked to see that the door was just ajar...it wasn't locked which meant someone was inside...
But she went in bravely...it was pitch dark inside...she didn't switch on the lights as she knew that someone waited for her inside the house...
A stern manly voice welcomed her "Welcome Miss wrong number uff Miss Sakshi Anand"
She recognized instantly who it was and responded "aakhir aapne mujhe dhoond hi liya..."
He switched on the table lamp near him...and his face sported a faint sarcastic look...a winning look!...While she still stood in the dark, a little far away from him and he could see only her outline...
