Ah this has such strong visuals in my head and almost all eerily intriguing - like that horror movie you want to see but you know you are about to jump any minute because of that sudden appearance in the mirror

It has the essence of some of the best movies in this genre - I am almost waiting for Hannibal Lecter to jump out of the screen (NOT a good thought that...shrug shrug shrug off the shivers)

Brilliant writing RB and what diversity of talent - from Gravity to this! Well done, as always

I logged in after far too many days, thanks to school routine post spring break being back with a vengeance. But I have a confession. I hope it's not mean to admit preferences as a reader of works by the same person - you as the author might feel equally fond of all your works - but I really like the way this story is spreading out; I think I'm going to have a favourite! ((:

A question at the onset. Is dark, at any point, likely to venture into paranormal? Or psychic - which it's increasingly inclining towards...

You had me from the moment you talked of blood on asphalt as blood rubies. It set the tone of the story and its genre right there, for me.

I tend to be so irregular, but I do always mean to come back and catch up. If PMs are a bother for you, you can skip me - but I've bookmarked the page and will keep tab, as well as show up (even if with the guilt of being that someone occasional).

And. Quote I must. Of something that Khushi's character (again!) brought to mind. Perhaps being reminded of unrelated references to your sketches of Khushi's characters is the start of a habit in the making!

By one of my favourite authors, from one of my favourite of his works.

Which is why I am writing this book. To think. To understand. It just happens to be the way I'm made. I have to write things down to feel I fully comprehend them.
