Another outstanding update… just love how each moment is filled with emotion and wit and humor thrown in! Arnav has never lost an opportunity to trap Khushi against walls, doors, etc. with himself plastered against her… no wonder the poor girl is prone to attacks of breathlessness, acidity and dhak dhak! Arnav covered her hand with his, and made her fingers lock the door again. He then caught hold of her shoulder and gently turned her around. Her eyes were firmly shut to avoid seeing him. The pulse in her throat was throbbing. He touched the point with his warm finger. Her eyes shot open. "Keep your eyes open," he murmured, "I want you to be sure who it is…."He's a master of the art of seduction, and the poor innocent he constantly targets stands no chance! That comment made no sense… doesn't he know that no one else has been that up close and personal with Khushi? Or maybe, that must merely have been his ploy to get her to open her eyes so he could drown in their mesmerizing depths! Just love how Khushi doesn't back down but grabs every chance she gets to remind Arnav of his earlier mistreatment of her… but he's incorrigible 😉: "It is OK, Khushi. You can undress anytime… in my room…" 😳 Expected a blushing Khushi to melt into a puddle at his feet… am in awe of the simile and imagery used: The sari fell to the ground slowly, like mist covering the air on a cold morning… damn beautiful!
"I told her that I wanted to marry you." Arnav stated. "Lavanya let out a whoop of joy! She said that she always knew that I would realise one day how much I loved you."Lavanya is a discerning and selfless friend, and part of the credit goes to Khushi for bringing that inherent goodness to the surface… it's pleasing to see Arnav listening to the women in his life and acting accordingly… nice of him to help Lavanya pursue her dreams in Paris, he owes her at least that much after all the pain he inflicted on her. Khushi's laughter indicates that some of the weight of the past few weeks and the guilt of unknowingly having hurt Lavanya are off her mind. Anjali's wicked sense of humor and teasing were quite touching. And Arnav's "Are you sure you don't need help to change, Khushi?" ☺️ a devilish smile in his chocolate eyes was the tops… he would have been more than happy and willing to help her out, I am sure!
