Very nicely written three-shot! Loved the emotional ride - from impatience, to fear, to sadness, to being strong, to happiness.
Loved it!
Although I am confused about how the Harry Potter lines fit into the story. Those lines were used by Dumbledore to Snape, and showed how he had loved Lily despite everything, and had continued to love her and done everything out of love.
However with Arnav and Khushi the meaning of those words is lost on me.
Sorry if I didn't get the message you were trying to convey, but overall that was a great three-shot!

Okay so this is more of a personal belief than anything, but when Arnav met Khushi for the first time, I always liked to believe that it was her eyes that drew him to her.
In my head, after all this Sheetal, Shyam, Dadi, Anjali blah blah nonsense is over, Arnav and Khushi must obviously sit down and had a talk about life and love and whatever else that goes into the line. (Had the show been on track and all, I'm there would have been a maha episode where A and K just sit and talk) Only I didn't choose to dwell on it. If you notice, the style of writing in this TS has been strictly in present tense, and really impassionate. I chose to showcase their emotions through their actions, rather then showcasing their actions through their emotions. Had I included a flashback into the story, then it would have been a contradiction to the whole point of writing this story in a particular way.
So when Khushi asks him "why?" and he says "He has hazel eyes, just like yours" the readers come to know in the end it wasn't completely about the child - Khush. It was partly for Khushi. So when Khushi says "After all this time?" she refers to how all these years later, he still falls for her eyes. And then when Arnav says "Always" he means that he meant that despite the hatred he tried to show towards her, it was always her eyes that melted him.
I do hope this makes sense?
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you liked the story =)
