I am a member who's requested many writers blog adds( including u ) ,since I joined IF very late. Well, some have agreed and some not... It doesn't matter.. I believe that, it is the writers choice and right to allow or deny a reader from getting access to their work... It shouldn't be a topic of argument... I can't even understand why do ppl keep grudges or feel bad about this entire thing...
I am totally for this act... I know how many times I had started reading a story, loved it, then got denied the pleasure of continuing due to plagiarism... It's a B***H... I don't have the capabilities of producing any coherent story... Heck, I could never even tell a proper bedtime story to capture my baby's interest.. She would always tell me it's too boring... And since I know this is beyond me, I wouldn't try it too... Why would I go through the trouble of copying someone else's work and reproduce it as mine???? Why can't I just remain happy reading and appreciating the work of all those writers who have gone through so much trouble, mentally, emotionally, and physically, just to give us those fab stories we love???? This is a question, every person, member, or otherwise, should ask her/himself...before trying to copy someone's hard work and portray it as their own...
Copy pasting a story to other sites, without the writers permission, is also a crime... Plz plz plz... I'm requesting humbly... To all the ppl, who have done this, tried to, or wanted to.. Or even are thinking about it... Plz, do not deprive me, and all the other honest readers from enjoying reading, just because of one selfish act on ur side... We all come to IF, to unwind, to relive our fav shows, and take joy in reading fictional creations about our fav actors... Plz do not degrade urself and fall in this whirlpool of plagiarism. It's not worth it!!!!! BAS!!!!!!!
P.S: Rae, this is not a way to try to get ur blog add... I won't ever stoop so low... I understand...and definitely don't mind... It's a vast ocean...with lots of choices... So no hard feelings, never had, never will... Cheers... ;)
