Here is the interpretation for Part 11 Section 1.

Being closeted with Khushi in the store room, Arnav asked her where she would run now to. Drawing deep breath she countered him why would she run? And that too from him? Even in the dim light, she could see his trademark rise of an eyebrow. It irritated her as always. In a calm and reasonable voice she told him that if she wanted to run away from him he should mean something to her, But he doesn't. So why should she run? Her retort had his anger rise to the fore. It was evident from the red flush that had crept on his cheeks. Irked, he asked her then does he not mean anything to her? Refreshing his memory of the Diwali night and all that he had said, she told him that she doesn't mean anything to him. That he wants her out of his life. And when she was about to remind him of his harsh words and cowardly actions he broke in calling her name. Seeing that he was put in the back foot where he had nothing to defend himself with, he kept mum. She waited for him to continue but as he didn't show any inclination to speak, she continued to say, what was that he was talking earlier about. Trying to make him jealous! Why would she want to make him jealous? Her query was laced with curiosity.

Arnav getting the opening he had wanted, grabbed the opportunity. He listed that by flirting with NK and laughing at his lame jokes she was trying her utmost to make jealousy rear its ugly head in him. Khushi smiled at his thoughts and addressing him as Mr.Raizada, told him that she was sorry to say it, but was compelled to tell him some home truths. He was neither the centre of the Universe nor the Sun around whom everything revolves. Everything that happens is not to anger him or hurt him. Her words penetrated his heart his chest constricted and hurt. Her nose pin twinkled and her jewels sparkled. Without mincing words she told him blandly that she was neither his girl friend nor his wife to take his permission before talking to another man or laugh at his jokes, or worry that her actions might hurt him. She was not bonded to him. She was a free bird to associate with anyone she deems fit. She pierced his heart with bitter truth that he needed to come to terms with.

When he was about to heave her towards him she continued to say that he too was free like a bird. Wasn't that exactly what he wanted? Arnav's hand froze mid air.

Continuing her harangue, she told him that Lavanya like a fool had dreamt that she had a rosy future with him and now is in London leading her own life. And she, who had come there to help Lavanya to adjust was oxymoronically being hounded, though she is leading her own life without disturbing him. He was now free of both of them and should be celebrating it in a grand manner befitting his status. Though Khushi smiled at him her eyes showcased an emotion that he wasn't able to fathom.

Continuing her tirade, she said that when he neither believes in love nor marriage, with no one at his back to make him believe in them, he has succeeded beyond expectation to free himself of all these menacles.

Hearing her doling out all that he had dished out earlier he felt a lump in his throat. He never knew he lashed her with wounds to such an extent, with his scathing remarks.

But she was not done yet. She bemoaned the fact that it was her misfortune to inevitably see him a few times a year. Hearing her rant, Arnav was able to just stare at her only. He was rendered speechless now, knowing the repercussions of his actions and speech, done in anger.

"Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret"

~ Ambrose Bierce

Khushi stared back at him trying to camouflage her emotions and how all this had affected her. She didn't want him to know that her legs were giving away and her heart was thumping away to glory. She whispered that it must be time for Sagai and headed towards the door.

Arnav Singh Raizada, who was thunder-struck and stood in a trance listening to all that she had to say realized that she was moving away from him. She was leaving him in a lurch just as he had done to her on that fateful night of Diwali. He with his own hands had turned the sweetness within his grasp into bitterness beyond conception just with his speech and actions! Unbelievable! What the! He couldn't let her leave. Her leaving him was not an option and that was not acceptable! He couldn't let it happen.

As she reached the door she felt a tug at her dupatta. She felt panicky, but quickly recovered herself sending up a grateful thanks to her stars for being confined in darkness and not letting Arnav see her expression. Schooling her face she turned towards him. The end of her dupatta was in his hold and her attempt to free it went in vain. She whispered to him to let go of her, but Arnav was adamant. Instead he pulled her dupatta making her fall into his open arms. As soon as she touched him he encompassed her in a tight hug and held her close. No amount of wriggling loosened his hold on her. With her heart in her throat, exasperated, she asked him what he was doing.Don't you know was his counter question in a soft seductive voice. He bent down and kissed her reveling in the softness and sweet smell of her skin with his hard lips. Khushi trembled and tried to move away from his loaded touch that always had her mesmerized. Her efforts to get away from him were effortlessly quelled by his strong muscular arms. His fingers splayed over her waist were exploring on their own, making her breath to hitch. She had to not only struggle against him but against herself too, for his fingers were arousing her like never before.

Cupping her face in his hands, he saw raw emotions playing unknown to her. He could see her fascination for him, her senses craving for his touch even in the dim light. Her heaving chest and panting breath were an indication as to how much his touch affected her. Noting all these to his satisfaction, he asked her in a husky whisper, will she still deny their feelings and say that there was nothing between them. His whisper thrilled her whole being.

Looking at him with wide eyes like a doe cornered, she groaned to herself what had she gotten herself into! And that too again! Pushing him with the all her strength derived from her panic she turned. Arnav staggered and fell on the rack. The very next instant they got a shower of white powder all over them. A small bin of atta had turned over and blessed them both. They stood looking at each other with the atta rising around them creating a misty world of their own with the Tyndall effect. Khushi was filled with mirth and burst out. Mesmerized by her laughter, Arnav had a slight quirk while watching in silence. Khushi giggled all the more imagining Arnav's assistant seeing him in his present condition. Her mirth effectively made him smile and say that she was no better off than him. While she leaned back on the wall to get back her breath, they heard HP calling out to Arnav, telling that it was time for Sagai. Their smiles vanished realizing that they were in a spot. With the flour all over them they needed to get cleaned quickly. Khushi peeking into the kitchen seeing that the coast was clear, shaking the atta from her clothes, crossing over to the kitchen with nimble feet, quickly grabbed a couple of kitchen towels and darted to the dark store. Handing him some towels both dusted themselves off the atta powder. Giving a final shake like wet dogs they emerged into the kitchen and checked each other. Seeing a white patch on his dark coat she quickly brushed it and asked him to go first saying that she would follow later. Otherwise Mamiji's hawk's eye and others too will not spare them. He asked whether she was fine. Hearing concern in his voice, Khushi smiled and said she was as fine as can be expected after a shower of atta. Just then Arnav's eyes found the remanants of atta on her neck. He brushed it with his fingers. Khushi felt that she had lost the very sense of need to breathe. Seeing that his eyes never wavered from hers while brushing, unable to withhold the gaze she shifted her focus. The atta on her skin had disappeared long back but his fingers kept rubbing her skin sending innumerable sensations into her being. Feeling the silky soft skin beneath his fingers in the gentle curve of her neck, he asked her in a soft gentle voice whether she really wanted to be free of him.

This update deals with some UNVARNISHED TRUTH that both Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi Kumari Gupta needed to face.

We see Khushi Kumari Gupta doing what nobody dared to do. She stood upto Arnav Singh Raizada and dared to enlighten him with truth... unvarnished truth.

She drew home to him the repercussion of his actions and his speech on Diwali night. That is the unvarnished truth

"Learn this from me. Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves"

~ Mitch Albom,

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

She also made it known to him that every action of his bears its imprint on her every reaction now. That is the unvarnished truth

"Every action has an equal and opposite reaction"

~ Sir Isaac Newton

However much Khushi denies, her reaction to Arnav shows that she is never indifferent. That is the unvarnished truth

"The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference"

~ Elie Wiesel

She is very much along with Arnav at what they feel, though she tries to resist it. That is the unvarnished truth.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart"

~ Helen Keller

They care about each other a lot. That is the unvarnished truth

"Everything that happens to you matters to me"

~ Cassandra Clare,

City of Fallen Angels

Khushi is asked to come to face with the unvarnished truth that she never wants to be free of Arnav.

"The unexamined life is not worth living"

~ Socrates

That's it from me. Hope you enjoy it.

Very insightful, Rashmi! Loved it!

High time both of them faced the unvarnished truth, wouldn't you say?

You have the talent of grabbing the readers...my mind and heart are so into this OS!!! I simply loved the confrontation and really applaud Khushi for saying things of the past...maybe it'll help Arnav to see things more clearly and understand where he went wrong...😳

Ahhh, who can resist the romantic Arnav!!!!! Your words are so effortless and honest that it felt as if Arnav was touching me rather than Khushi (my dream I know) 😛

Here is my interpretation for Part 10, Section 1.

Khushi on retrospection decided to chalk out a plan to handle the mess her life had turned out to be after Diwali. Running away was an attractive option but was not a feasible one. Feeling annoyed, twisting her lips she thought that she couldn't spend all her life running away from the Rakshas as they were going to be related through her sister's marriage. She would have to stay away from him. Sharing the space however big it was. by itself was an attack on her health and sanity and was not at all an option. Even if she survives her bouts of anger, that always seems to be simmering when he is around, the pace of her heart beat and the acidity she gets would be her downfall! If ever this happens she was dead sure it would make him give that exalted smile, that he seems to have perfected, while she was breathing her last! Imagining his exultation, at his success on making her re-enter into RM after foiling all her plans to thwart his unsuccessful attempts up till now, made her clench her fists.

She thought, though she couldn't stop him from crowing over, she could do something else that was within her capacity, which was to pretend not seeing it. There was no rule against giving him a Royal Ignore and nobody could fault her for it!

Her eyes fell on the smiling visage of the benign Devi Maiyya. She told her friend DM, to laugh, laugh at all the things that she finds amusing that is happening in her life. She reprimanded her for not listening to her however many times she had asked her not to let Arnav appear before her. She(DM) had not listened. However many times she had offered her favorite jalebi's to her, it had not borne fruit. Though she (Khushi) was the one to give Her (DM) the offerings, he was the one who was getting all the favors from Her(DM)? Khushi admonished Her for favoring him. She reminded Her that She was her Devi Maiyya and not his. Continuing her harangue she told that it was favoritism, pure favoritism! Why was he being given preference when he doesn't even believe in God. When that is the case why was She kind to him? She asked her DM did Arnav smile and make a khichidi of Her brain too. Her rant showed how much the presence of Arnav Singh Raizada affected Khushi Kumari Gupta. Once she had let her steam out, she resigned herself to the fact that she was all alone and she herself had to strategize and had to handle the Arnav factor carefully.

While shopping for the wedding finery, Buaji asked the sales girl to show her a red saree that had caught her eye. When it was opened they found it was beautiful. It was a red silk saree with gold border and had a line of green at its edge. Buaji told Khushi to select it and wear it for the engagement. Khushi was appalled at the suggestion. It brought in bitter sweet memories of Diwali. The red saree meant for Lavanyaji, the way his eyes had followed and bored into her, the memories of the poolside encounter, the sprain, the way he went down on his knees and corrected the twist, the soft grasp of his firm warm hands, the way he had gently placed her foot on his thigh while he adorned it with payal, and then the way he had come closer and closer and cupped her face. The memories were too many. They were heart wrenching. Even now they were capable of flooding her senses. They had no place in her life now. Khushi declared that she will not chose the red color. Seeing her reaction, Buaji teased her why would she not opt for red? Has she changed from being Buaji's beautiful butterfly to a bull that works itself into a rage if it sees red? Khushi giving her a ghastly smile thought what would Buaji know about her grief!

Meanwhile at RM, Arnav was working on his laptop in the living room, while, Akash, Di, Nani, Mamaji and Mami were sitting around him and selecting the jewells displayed by the jeweler who had brought it to their house. He heard them eulogizing each and every piece. Though he heard their talk, he was focused on his work. When Anjali told Akash to chose the diamond studded ring for Payal saying that it was beautiful, the setting has enchanced its grandeur and it'll suit Payal Akash agreed with her and chose it. She called out to her brother and asked him whether he liked it, he merely glanced at it and said fine before immersing himself in his work. Exasperated, Anjali sighed and said, how could he live, breathe and sleep for work. Mami too joined in and said that it was his brother's wedding to a girl from not so well to do family. He needed to take more interest and asked him to look at the ring. Arnav was so engrossed in his work that their admonition just flew over his head.

Mamiji then declared that since the sagai ring was now decided, its time for her to choose her jewel set as she was going to be a mother-in-law and it was essential that she maintained her position. Her reason to chose a set for herself had everybody but Arnav in splits.

Just then Nani asked Anjali to select a ring for Khushi saying that she wanted to gift her one. Arnav till then who was concentration personified looked up from the screen at the mention of Khushi's name. Mami, Nani and Anjali stared at him. Seeing their eyes on him he lowered his gaze on the screen. Ladies looked at each other.

Mami picking a ring asked others in general but with her eyes on Arnav, whether that ring would suit Khushi. Nani with a smile dancing on her lips, told her that ring was perfect for Khushi. Arnav without bothering to look at them lurched forward to have a look at it. He not only gave the choice of ring his full attention but also casually pointed out that the ring was of wrong size and they needed to choose a smaller sized one, before immersing himself in his work.

With one shot he had the ladies stumped with realization that he had noticed even the minute detail, the size of Khushi's ring finger. The ladies were left gaupping.

When the doorbell rang, HP opened the door. He was greeted by a cheery voice enquiring about him. It suddenly struck a realization chord in them, followed by NK Bhai! a sharp shriek from Anjali. All went to the door to greet the guest. There stood Nand Kisore clad casually in a yellow T-shirt, blue jeans, brown jacket with his baggage. Manorama's joy knew no bounds to see her nephew from Sydney. He greeted Nani, Maasi and Di. Seeing Akash he ribbed him saying. "Yeh Akash, naughty boy! Going to marry Ankletji, eh?" making all laugh. He turned to Arnav and asked Nannav, when was his turn. At this, Arnav raised an eyebrow. NK asked him not to raise his eyebrow and told Anjali that, whenever he raised his eyebrows he felt he was being scolded by his principal for something wrong, that he didn't even commit in the first place, making the house fill with laughter.

This update is about INVESTIGATION.

The term Investigation comprises of analysis, examination, exploration, interrogation, reconnaissance, scrutiny, strategy and test. All these fall within the scope of this update!

In the beginning Khushi Kumari Gupta analyses her life and strategizes her mode of action based on the feasibility factor.

She comes to the conclusion that to avoid him and give Royal Ignore to his tactics was the ideal strategy to follow.

Her strategy included not wearing anything in red his favorite color.

Unknown to him Arnav Singh Raizada is subjected to examination. The Raizada ladies are on a reconnaissance mission.

"You know my method. It is founded upon the observation of trifles"

~ Arthur Conan Doyle, The Boscombe Valley Mystery

Scrutinizing the facts before them, they felt that first they had to rule out certain other possibilities.

"You know my methods. Apply them"

~ Arthur Conan Doyle, The Sign of Four

They explore the possibility of him being interested in any other girl by interrogating him to look at Payal's ring. They do not elicit any response other than a cursory glance, that too at their insistence.

"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth"

~ Arthur Conan Doyle, The Sign of Four

But their strategy meets success, when they talk about selecting a ring to Khushi. This was a test they had put up just to know his reaction.

Arnav saying that the size of the ring needed to be changed into a smaller one reinforced their suspicion.

"No man burdens his mind with small matters unless he has some very good reason for doing so"

~ Arthur Conan Doyle, A Study in Scarlet

They knew their investigation was on right track and needed to see the reaction of Arnav and Khushi together.

"Whenever you've eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth"

~ Arthur Conan Doyle

Entry of NK was a blessing in disguise to these sleuths. Arnav's reaction when Khushi meets another male (NK) will be under close scrutiny as her reaction to Akash was rather well known as that equation was of Brother-Sister and now it would be that of Jiju-Saali.

What a lovely time for the sleuths with the on-going INVESTIGATIONS!

"In my experience, boys are predictable. As soon as they think of something, they do it. Girls are smarter... they plan ahead. They think about not getting caught."

~ Eoin Colfer, Half-Moon Investigations

That's it from me. Hope you enjoy it!

Here is my interpretation for Part 10, Section 2.

Taking up the investigation on the assigned day, the day of Sagai, Mami descended the staircase humming a tune that usually would be the back ground music, while a detective enters the picture frame. Dressed to kill (?!) in a Benarasi silk sari of green and yellow, her pink goggles strategically placed on her head, slinging binoculars, Mami was in a Baand mood! She was a unique piece never to be found anywhere else.

NK who met her asked why was she having a pair of binoculars. He was trying to decipher what might be the secret behind this avatar of his Maasi. Her excuse was that she wanted to see the Sagai in bigger than life size. Akash, NK and Arnav, resplendent in sherwani's and formal wear in the hues of midnight blue stood at the entrance foyer greeting the guests. Akash and Arnav were peeping every now and then to see whether Payal and Khushi had come. Arnav had sent two cars to collect them. As soon as he saw Buaji, Arnav's senses were put on high alert. Buaji came in pushing Babuji in his wheel chair. Amma in an orange saree with the pallu draped over her head came next along with Payal whose cheeks were vying with the red and green lehenga she wore. Arnav heard Akash heave a deep breath, but he didn't have time to look at his brother. His eyes were busy searching for Khushi at the entrance. She had not yet turned up! As he was wondering about her she reluctantly stepped into the house that she wanted to avoid at all cost. She was dressed in a blue lehenga with pink blue dupatta tastefully pleated and pinned to cover herself. Jasmine flowers and pearls adorning her plaited hair enhanced her beauty. With a small bag in her hand she stood at the fringes of the crowd trying to merge. Arnav just couldn't take his eyes off the beauty in front of him.

NK asking the time for dinner went unheeded. His whole being was attuned exclusively to Khushi. Nani, Di, Mamaji and Mami welcomed the Guptas' into their home.

The elders greeted each other. Raizada ladies and Mamaji blessed the soon to-be-bride. Buaji was amazed to see Mami's binoculars. Mami explained that she wanted to see the sagai clearly and that's the reason she totes the Binoculars along. Hearing her explanation, Buaji frowned and thought Manorama had lost her marbles. Buaji's expression made Mami say that it was the latest fashion, knowing fully well that Madhumati would not be aware of anything concerned with fashion. But Madhumati though not in touch with fashion had enough common sense to distinguish between fashion and absurdity. She invoked the name of her favorite deity for having to witness such ludicrous behavior.

Nani and Di tagged along Khushi. Enveloping her in a warm hug, Nani exclaimed her name oozing with love and happiness. The elderly lady was extremely happy to see her. Khushi smiled at her for Nani had always shown her nothing but kindness. Hugging her, Anjali welcomed her and told her that as she was well versed with the house, she could make herself comfortable. Khushi nodded but stayed tongue-tied. She wondered where Arnav was? She felt it would be too much to hope that he had took himself off, away from all these functions, just because she didn't want to see him. Can she ever hope of him skipping his brother's Sagai? Just thinking at the improbability she heaved a huge breath just to fortify herself. Watching Nani and Di tease her sister as to how eagerly Akash had been waiting to get just a glimpse of her, a smile played on Khushi's lips. While looking ahead she noticed Arnav Singh Raizada standing next to Akash and another man. Khushi reminded herself of what she had decided - Royal Ignore. While she deliberately turned her head away she noticed that Mami was staring at her through her binoculars. She wondered, what was wrong with Mamiji? Has this alliance alienated her so much?

Meanwhile Arnav frowned why Khushi was not looking at him at all. Then he felt prickles as though somebody was observing him. Seeing his Mami staring at him through the binoculars he swore under his breath. Akash pulled Arnav and NK to join the rest. After greeting the elders and Payal, Arnav introduced NK to them as their cousin from Australia. All smiled at NK. Then Arnav introduced him to Payal's Amma and Babuji. When NK folded his hands politely in greeting Babuji nodded and Amma blessed him to live (long). But NK took it literally and wondered whether he wasn't alive to elicit such a blessing! Next he was introduced to Buaji. While introducing Arnav's eyes were on Khushi but she was looking everywhere but him. Buaji exclaimed praising her deity Nandkisore, that he had come all the way from Australia to attend his brother's wedding! NK being NK obtuse in his cute ways asked with astonishment how did she know that his name was Nand Kisore. All laughed at his question. Then Arnav introduced Payal to him. Arnav observed that khushi was fiddling with the edge of her dupatta. NK told him that he knew she was Akash's Ankletji and moved to hug her. Catching hold of him, Arnav whispered it was not done. Only Akash could do it. And he better find somebody else to hug! NK bobbed his head in agreement. Finally Arnav introduced Khushi as Payal's sister, trying to meet her eyes. Evading his eyes, she smiled at NK and greeted him with folded hands. NK asked whether her Sagai was over. Khushi was stunned to hear such a question but recovering said no. Hearing her answer, NK beamed and said his Sagai too was not over. Turning to Arnav he asked whether he could hug her? While Arnav was seething with anger, Khushi burst out in peals of laughter and NK was at sea, wondering what he had said to vex Arnav. Arnav never thought his very advice would come to haunt him so quickly!

Anjali had arranged for a pooja, before the Sagai. All were seated around the havan kund. Khushi sensing Arnav approaching her rushed to sit by her Buaji making Buaji ask what happened to her. Khushi smiled at her and said everything was fine. Arnav found a seat behind her and sat watching her with hooded eyes. Khushi was left wondering as to what had happened to Laad Governar, to be sitting for the pooja? What was he who didn't believe in God doing there? She thought things are happening just true to her luck! The never ending torture of his presence that too right behind her back! Calming herself she sat beside her Buaji. The sleuth Trio, watched Arnav and Khushi with eagle eyes. Anjali, with a naughty smile and twinkling eyes, knowing fully well still asked Arnav would he be gracing the pooja with his presence? Arnav knowing that it was against his nature squirmed inside, but told her that he would, as he thought that they might need something and Akash might need his help. Nani, with a laugh lurking around her lips, appreciated his effort by saying that was very considerate of him. Arnav looked at Khushi's back. When his eyes noted her choli, it moved on to the low neck, the dori, the creamy skin and the fragrance of the fresh flowers in her long silky voluptuous strands of hair. As Khushi turned sideways to listen to her Buaji saying something, he noted her heavy earring and hoped it didn't hurt her ear. He etched each and every line of her body line in his mind. Khushi sensing that she was being scrutinized was irked. She wondered why he was staring at her back. She felt as though he was untying her dori and running his fingers along her back and quivered.

NK sat besides Arnav and called out to Khushi. Khushi turned her head towards him taking care as not to glance at Arnav. NK said that, with her there, they would have a lot of moza at this sagai. Khushi looking at his feet wondered what had his socks got to do with the Sagai. Suddenly it struck her he meant maza fun and not moza sock. When she corrected him he agreed with her that was what he meant. Both giggled like a pair of kids and hit off well. There started their friendship. Arnav felt as though somebody had pulled a rug from under his feet. All his plans fell like blocks toppling in the game of dominoes. He felt all his dreams were built on a house of cards which toppled with just a gush of breeze. He heard Khushi telling NK that she would call him Nanheji and NK giving her carte blanche to call as she wishes. All Arnav could do was grit his teeth and just chew his anger!

The pooja was over and Anjali distributed the Prasad. The time of Sagai was fast approaching.

Khushi, who felt parched was longing for a drink of water. She saw Hari Prakash was otherwise engaged. She felt it was better not to disturb as he was arranging the chairs. She wondered how to sneak into kitchen as she knew if she goes there Laad Governar would corner her. She thought of asking NK to accompany her and searched for him. But he was nowhere to be seen. She looked at Arnav and found him talking to some men in formal wear. Seeing that he would be engrossed in his talk and that she may not get another such good opportunity, she quietly slipped into the kitchen. The coast was all clear. Heaving a deep sigh of relief, thinking that she need not put on the mask for a few seconds she let go of her tension, her pretense. Filling water into a long glass, she drank deeply. Still wanting, she filled some more and was half way through the drink, when she felt some presence behind her. Thinking it to be HP she turned with a smile that froze.

Arnav Singh Raizada had succeeded in cornering her alone! His eyes were devouring her and burning into her. His look shocked her and the glass in her hand shook. With a quick movement he steadied it curling his fingers over hers. He brought the glass to his lips and sipped from it. She tried to pull it back, thinking that the glass had been used by her and he ought to use a fresh one. But his fingers pulled her hand closer to his lips and drank to the last drop, all the while his eyes never wavering from hers. Khushi swallowed. He asked her what was she up to? His husky voice raked over her taunt nerves like a scrape with a rasp. She scowled thinking had he caught on to her trying to avoid him? When Arnav bit out seething with anger asking her, whether she was trying to make him jealous Khushi was stunned to hear such a ridiculous question.

"Simply minding one's own business is more offensive than being intrusive. Without ever saying a word one can make a person feel less-than"

~ Criss Jami

As they heard someone enter the kitchen both stiffened. Khushi tried to pull out of his hold and leave, but Arnav catching her arm pulled her aside into the store and conveniently closed the door behind him. His action made Khushi use his swearing words, What the!

Arnav placed his finger on her lips to silence her. In the dim light they looked at one another. While slowly withdrawing his finger from her lips, not the one to let go his chance, he caressed the plump curves with the firm pad of his finger tip. Khushi jerked at the shock she received from his gesture.

Arnav peeped into the kitchen to see Mami looking around with her binoculars in hand. She was talking to herself. She was asking where they disappeared off to. She searched the cabinets, behind the stove, in between the bins on the platform and even in the basket of vegetables waiting to be cooked! When she couldn't find them she announced that, wherever they went, they wouldn't be able to escape Manorama Baand, fired an imaginary pistol and blew on her fingers as though dusting away the remanents of the gunpowder. Turning aside to Laxmi who was munching a bunch of palak from the basket, by addressing her as you chewer of palak, she asked whether she saw the two of them. When in answer Laxmi bleated, Mami snorted and left the kitchen doing her bird walk. (I know, I know you wrote cat walk!)

Arnav who was closeted in the store with Khushi looked at her. His look made her gulp.

This update is about being EVADE.

In the beginning we see Manorama Raizada evade questions in her Baand Avataar not to give out her real intention of carrying binoculars with her in the house.

Then we see Khushi Kumari Gupta trying to evade from being cornered by Arnav Singh Raizada.

Finally, we see both Arnav and Khushi evading Manorama from being seen together.

It is a Cat and Mouse game that is going on.

That's it from me. Hope you enjoy it.
