Part – 4

" I know where nupur di is", slowly said dia like a whisper

Mayank was shocked, nothing is coming neither from his mouth nor to his mind. He is just blank.

He is just listening what dia is saying with tears in his eyes.

"She is in shimla. Once in a year, nupur di will come to my school to meet me" said Dia gaze was fixed on her hands

Di took promise from me that i never tell her details to anyone. She thought gunjan di or samrat jiju or shilpa aunty will try to find her. If they find her, they force her to come back which u didnt like. Di is thinking you hate her. She never wanted to trouble you with her presence around you.

Firstly, i too thought di is right, you only hate her. So i avoided you because i hated you for giving nupur di this much pain. When i truly realised you love her, i tried to talk with di about you. Whenever i took your name infront of di, i only saw pain in her eyes. Seeing that, i didnt have enough guts to make di to tell about your love. I also, have doubt that if i will raise your topic again infront of her, di will never talk to me. So i am helpless jiju

"can i call you jiju" said dia looked straight in Mayank's eyes.Her heart pained knowing very well that knowing his mental condition now.

Mayank slightly nodded his head.

I know i am breaking my promise by telling you di details but now i dont have enough strength to see you both in pain. I know you both love each other infinitly.

"I also have nupur di phone number", Dia said

"Can u please call nupur infront of me. I want to hear her voice. He forwarded his cell towards her.

Dia nodded and said I have my own cell, di gave me. She signalled him to keep silent. She took her cell and dialed nupur's number and kept in speaker mode.

Every ring of the cell raised mayank's heart beat. He caught his breadth only to hear his life's voice after 5 longgg years.

"Hello Dia..." nupur said

This made mayank to breadth out hearing his angels voice. Tears rolling down from mayank's cheeks. He closed his mouth with his right hand not to make any noise. He is threatened in any moment the loud sob will come out of his mouth which will make his nupur doubt about his presence.

Hi di, how are you? Dia said

Achi hu dia, tum kaise ho. Itni raat phone kiya. Sab kuch teek haina dia" nupur enquired.

Nothing di just missing you, specially Arjun" dia told

Ok wait i will give phone to arjun, nupur said

"Dia didi kaise ho", arjun's excited voice clearly hearable

My prince mein teek hoon, missing you baccha, love u" dia replied

Mein bhi miss kar raha hu di. You come here di. We will play together. Arjun said

Di mein rhyming competition mein first aaya hoon. Mamma ne muhje two chocolate ice creams kareed ke diya" arjun shouted excitely

Omg my bacha is the best. Love you prince. I will also give you one gift when i meet you ok" said dia

Then nupur took the phone, ok you both stop your bak bak, tommorrow you both have to go school. Good night Dia

I will meet you soon dia, love you " nupur said

Ok didi Good night to you and arjun, love u both bye" dia said

Bye dia, arjun didi ko bye bolo said nupur

Byeee didi good night said arjun

Ok dia good night mein phone rak raha hoon and nupur disconnected the call

Arjun kaun hai? Asked mayank

Dia lifted her eyes from cell towards mayank.

Arjun... hmmm. Dia took a deep breadth and said he is your son. Nupur di was very excited that day. She want to surprise you with this news but everything went wrong that day.

Mayank was shocked...He is numb. Till now he is thinking, he is far away from nupur but now his son too. Mayank couldn't believe it...he was actually a father too...arjun is his son, his very own blood..

The bitter truth that he could've been with Nupur when she needed him the most. He is not with Nupur when Arjun opened his eyes in this world...see him grow up...be there whenever he smiled or cried...

A fresh tears are rolling down on his cheeks. How can he come out of this pain he had no one to share his sorrow...not even his family members...because he is the only reason for this day to come in his life. That day, he assumed everthing wrongly and made his beautiful life into hell with his own hands.

Mayank knealed down infront of dia talking her both hands in his and cried his heart murmuring thanks. Almost half an hour later, he lifted himself from the ground.

Thanks Dia i will never forget your help. I promise you, i will bring back my life, my son, your di nupur back. I will make everthing fine soon. Mayank said. With this he walked towards his car with moist eyes and determination to bring his angel, his son back into his life.
