Devi, The whole plot is just beautiful...Excellent command of words!!... I wish I had enough money to buy ur story and get this made into a movie in malayalam. 😃. I can hear Mamta M. saying the words Pallavi says.. If we didn't get Sobti, we'll get Prithviraj, what say? 😆

WOwww...nw dis is wt i call "Perfection". The day i read the first chapter..I knew dis FF will b a different ride...nd Devi mam..I dont hv words to define the greatness of dis FF...its much mre than a story...its a journey rather..lyk the flow of river...taking us ol wid it...wetting us!
Comin to the update...the title cudnt be mre apt...it wz the "great melt".
Finally the shards of ice...turned into lukewarm water. A lil seduction..a lil cheesiness...nd a proposal(a seductive one..i wud say ;-) )
Now..it wud b quite intrsting to watch kashi's respnse. :-)

Okay, I've officially melted into a mushy puddle right where I'm sitting.😉

Devi, I couldn't comment on the last few chapters for various reasons, so am doing so here...

Kashi is right, Arnav is being a complete prick with her. An overbearing, sadistic prick. To presume that a woman as independent in her thinking as Kashi would agree to live in a flat owned by a man she's met just a few days ago. "She was stubborn to a fault, he already knew very well". His actions no doubt are motivated by the sheer fear of losing Kashi, given the deep, almost visceral, connection between them. Still, to lock her in the house?

Although I must say, I found it quite funny...the thought of Arnav Singh Raizada reduced to locking up a woman because his charms apparently don't work on her. 😛

And now the next day, the explosion and subsequent meltdown. Since she's come to Delhi, she's been completely unlike the Kashi we've known and loved. Somewhere along the journey across the country, she lost her feisty, I-dare-you-to-try-and-mess-with-me attitude. I could not reconcile to the quiet, pliant, dispirited Kashi. I'm glad the old resident of KH is back!! That slap was much needed -- well-earned, in fact. That cry-fest was much needed and well-earned, too. She needed to vent all the fear, frustration and anger she'd held back for so many days. Her father has indeed played a masterful stroke. A shrewd man who knows his younger daughter well and knows too that she will never take the more conventional, traditional route to happiness.

Superb, Devi. Thank you and congratulations on being "FFin the spotlight". It is well deserved.
