Yippee finally paayal is recovering n akaash knws abtaditya chauhan... Even arnie knws khushi kapoor is his khushi... I hope he doean't lash out at anjali! Abhimanyu tu toh gaya 😆 aditya is planning to kill them.. I hope non of them gets hurt n after arnie has known the truth, i dun want them to get seperated anyhow! I wonder how khushi ia gonna react to this! I loved akaash in this update

Chapter 14- Blizzard of Hints

Arnav flipped His phone to dial Anjali's number, "Di...Where are You???."

'You have reached the voicemail of Anjali Jha. Please leave a message after the beep.'

Arnav closed his phone frustrated. Di wasn't picking up his calls!

He punched the wall by the sink, and took deep, calming breaths.

How do I tell Khushi??

Khushi thinks I am dead, so I can't just spring myself on Her! I will have to be slow and drop hints first'

Arnav composed himself and looked at himself in the mirror, took a deep breath once, before heading out.

As soon as Arnav left, Khushi slumped into her chair and rested her forehead on the cool glass of her table.

The tingling sensation was back in her stomach' The sensation she'd get everytime she said his name. She held her necklace tightly, and the cool metal helped her to compose herself.

Di is fighting for her life! You can't sit here now and become an emotional wreck!

She heard the door creak open and sat straight as Arnav walked in.

She looked at him curiously; he looked pale and the front few strands of his hair were wet. Droplets of water were still drying on his grey suit.

Why does he look so'. SHAKEN?

He sat down and smiled at her. "Shall we get to work?"

"Of course!" Khushi said and they began.

Khushi rolled the sheets of the dessigns open and started the discussion.

"' the sleeves could be made of shiny gossamer and-"

"... and the rest of the gown should be red'" Arnav said quietly.

Khushi gulped. "N-Not red. Please? It is a color which doesn't hold many good memories'" she said, thinking of Arnav.

"I love red'" he said softly. "It reminds me that blood is not the ONLY red thing in the world' It represents love too'"

Khushi looked up at him, shocked.

"Arnav! Why do you want to buy a RED T-Shirt! I mean, blue looks much better on you!" Khushi said indignantly, as she looked at the T-Shirts that the shop-keeper was showing them.

They had coming shopping along with Payal and Anjali for Payal's birthday party which was in two days.

"Well Jalebi, I love red. It reminds me that blood is not the ONLY red thing in the world' It represents love too'" he said looking at her face.

"God, you are so philosophical'!"

"I read a lot of books you know'."

"Ar-Aren't you philosophical Mr Raizada'" Khushi said softly.

"I read a lot of books you know'"

Khushi's eyes widened. "Oh? Umm, we should get back to work'" She whispered.

Arnav nodded and soon they were immersed in work.

Arnav decided that she had to know and know it TODAY!

He had to talk to Di as well, but first' his Khushi.

"Miss Gup-er, Kapoor, shall we go for coffee somewhere?"

"Sure. There is a small caf nearby'" Khushi smiled.

"Well, can we go to a place of my choice?" Arnav asked, tilting his head.

Khushi shrugged . "Sure. Coffee is coffee!"

Arnav looked at her, carefully choosing his next words. "Not necessarily Khushi. It also depends on the hands of the maker'"

Khushi's head shot up, a sudden memory coming to her.

"Hey Arnav! Mamma is calling you for having milk!" Khushi called from the below a staircase.

Arnav had come to teach Khushi some Math.

Moments later, Arnav was down. "You make it Khushi!"

"Arnav! I have work to do! Besides, whether I make it, or Mamma, Bournvita will be Bournvita!" she said.

He inched closer to her, grinning at her face. "Not necessarily Jalebi. It depends on the magic in the hands of the maker' You'll probably add two pumps of friendship too!"

Khushi frowned. "You're just weird!"

"Y-You remind me of someone I know!" Khushi stuttered.

Arnav leaned closer to her. "Glad I do'" he whispered.

Khushi looked into those eyes for a minute, and whispered "Coffee' With cream'"

Arnav pulled away suddenly. "You're right' Let's go'"

Khushi blinked in confusion, as Arnav walked away.

Arnav turned away, as Khushi followed. Arnav wiped away the solitary tear that strayed out of his eye.

Arnav watched Khushi climbing a mango tree, and suddenly he saw her foot loose grip and fall to the floor. No, not the floor on him!

"Khush? Khush, are you alright?" he asked anxiously from the floor, as he felt her whole weight on him.

She looked at his face giggling. "Yes Arnav! I fell on you, so are you alright?"

"Yeah'"

She got off of him and dusted her overalls.

"Well, what a fail!" she muttered.

"You know Khushi, your eyes remind of emerals with light passing through them'" he said suddenly.

Khushi laughed. "Well, Yours remind me of coffee with a little bit of cream!"

Aakash and Anjali paced outside the room, waiting for the doctor to come out.

"Di, why didn't you tell me till now!" Akash fretted. "If you had told me earlier, I could have-"

"Don't blame ME Akash! You hid from me that you were seeing Payal! I would have told you then!"

Just then, the Doctor came out. "You can see her now. She is currently unconscious, but out of her coma"

Aakash heaved a sigh of relief.

"She'll come around in an hour or two'"

Anjali nodded. "Thank You, Doctor."

She pulled out Her mobile to tell Shyam, and noticed there were three missed calls from 'Chhote'.

Anjali frowned, and tried to dial, but to her amazement, She found that it was out of reach.

"Dad, It's Done..." Abhimanyu said into the phone.
"The work is done without any trace of evidence."

"Where are We going?" Khushi asked.

"To my house'" he said as casually as he could.

"WHAT?!? But You said-"

"-We would go to a place of My choice. So My choice is My house. You didn't meet my Nani did you?"

"NO, and Mr Raizada, PLEASE slow down!"

"Khushi, when I can call you Khushi, you can call me Arnav too you know'"

"I won't and please slow down!"

Arnav stiffened slightly.

"Khushi, Do You trust Me?"

"Of course! What a stupid question!! Now slow down!"

"Khushi, Your seat belt is fastened right?"

"Yes, MR RAIZADA, WILL YOU SLOW DOWN!" She screamed, on the verge of hysterics.

Suddenly, Arnav unbuckled himself and hugged Khushi fully, covering Her from the front completely.

*CRASH*
