Chapter 5A - The Disaster Meeting in The Past
Khushi: I mean... I'm ready for the deal.
ASR looks towards khushi and she just gives him a blank look. However if khushi thinks that ASR may be annoyed with her sudden change
of decision, then she is completely wrong. In his mind, ASR was jumping for joy, with his sexy winning smirk.
ASR thinks: And this is call bluffing my dear Khushi!
It takes Khushi few seconds to assimilate what she just said. She comes back to herself when she hears Mr Khurana addressing to her.
J k: Fantastic Miss Gupta! I'm delighted with your decision. Anshika will be very happy. Thank you so much! I was sure you'll go for the right decision. And i think we can sign the contract as soon as possible. The Wedding is in almost 3 months and better lets not waste time.
Khushi hesitates but she is conscious that she can't get back on her words. She therefore agrees with Mr Khurana.
J K: So coming to the wedding, Anshika is keen on being part in every arrangements, and especially for her wedding dresses. That's why she
wants you both to shift to a new office together. The office has already been arranged to your needs. And that would be much easier for Anshika as the office is found not to far from our mansion. And the faster you may shift the quicker you can start the work.
Khushi feels like receiving a blow by the sudden request of Mr Khurana. Few minutes before she was not ready to work with ASR and now she is being asked to shift to another office with that irritating, annoying flirt. She glances at Arnav and sees a glint of victory in his eyes. She gets alerted and prefers to take her attention off him.
Khushi thinks: Everything will be alright! I am Khushi Gupta! 3 months, only 3 months and i'll be back to my normal life! I know I can do it. Yes I'll do it!
Khushi: Don't worry Mr Khurana, there won't be any problem, i'm sure Miss Anshika will be the most beautiful and happy bride.
J K: Oh Come on, now that we'll work together, i think you both can call me Jai.
Khuhi: Ok Jai!
On his side, ASR is very happy with the new office arrangements. He got what he wanted without asking for it or working for it. it is a coincidence to find Khushi here. For so long he's been waiting to have an opportunity to work with her, to get close to her. When he saw her entering the office of Jai, the past suddenly flashed back in his mind. He remembered khushi when he saw her the first time, nervous yet cute and funny. He was so mesmerised by her beauty. ASR could see pain in her eyes. He was so hypnotized by her that he wanted to know her more, to blow off her pain and show her how beautiful life is. Still now after so long when he reads in her eyes, he can see the same pain. when ASR gets back to reality, he feels angry and hurt! not by the words and even the slap from khushi that day, he is hurt as he failed make her feel happy, smile and enjoy life.
ASR thinks: Nomore Khushi! i'll break through you, it's high time for you to change.
As ASR & Khushi are stuck in the office, Payal is getting bored. She was reading some magazines when the secretary accompanies some guy to
the waiting room.
Secretary: Sir you may wait here until the meeting is over.
Guy: Thank you!
The guy smiles nervously at Payal. She smiles back. She was amused by his looks. He's been wearing boring outdated clothes. But with his
glasses he looks cute. She gets back to her magazine, when she hears the guy.
Guy: Indian
Payal: Yes
Guy: Indian too. I'm Aman.. Aman Verma
Payal: Payal Khanna
Aman: you waiting for long, you got a meeting.
Payal is amused. Aman truly was bad at starting conversation with a girl.
Payal thinks: funny guy! Cute!
Payal: Actually I'm waiting for my boss, she is in a meeting with Mr Khurana.
Aman: Oh what a coincidence! my boss is also in a meeting with Mr Khurana. You know, ASR from AR Designs.
As soon as she hears ASR, she is dumbstruck. She knew that was impossible, she cannot imagine her boss in the same space of Mr Raizada. The last time they came face to face with each other in a business party, Payal got a hard time to cool down Khushi.
Payal: Are you... sure? I mean, maybe he's meeting sum one else.
Aman: Of course I am, I'm his manager, and I'm the one who fixed this appointment. Hey, is there any problem? you look tensed!
Payal: I'm the P.A of Miss Gupta from Gupta InDesigns.
Aman: What!!!
At the same time, Khushi and ASR comes out of the office accompanied of
J K. After bidding their goodbyes to J K, both ASR and Khushi come
to the tensed Aman and Payal. Payal takes the laptop bag from khushi and goes straight to the car without a word. ASR tells Aman to wait in
the car. Taking a deep breathe, Khushi turns to ASR. She gets irritated seeing the smirking ASR checking her out.
Khushi: Listen Mr Raizada, you better keep your disgusting intentions to yourself! We are going to work together for 3 months! only 3 months! and after this, we both get back to our different ways. Understand?
ASR laughs off Khushi's words.
ASR: Not so soon Khushi! 3 months! We have 3 long months! And I promise, Its payback time Khushi Gupta.
Khushi gets hold of herself, and prefers to ignore ASR. She turns and gets out of the building.
ASR chuckles to himself.
ASR: Get ready for the revenge Khushi! The ASR way! You gonna hate it!
