Chapter 10| A New Kind of Aura

He jumped out of his car furiously and shutting the metal door with a loud thud he walked towards the caf looking here and there for any signs of the creatures who dared to call him.

"Arnav"

"Mrs Gupta'

He replied with the equal amount of firmness and a certain determination that didn't go unnoticed by the couple. He had smelled something coming his way as he saw them in the caf.

"you seem like an intelligent young man"

Seem like? I AM

"I will say this once, I hope you will take it seriously"

Will you utter it, if you don't mind?

He didn't seem mad, sad or angry. He was bored.

"Stay away from my daughter"

His eyebrow rose at its own accord.

Say whaattt

"you are just not her type"

Mrs Gupta spoke as she fixed the collar of his coat and smiled pityingly at him, exiting the caf with her husband, before Arnav could say a word.

His type? What's that even supposed to mean.

He knew what she meant. She had said more than she thought.

What she had meant for a threat didn't reach him as one, instead it sounded more like a plea to him, since Arnav Singh Raizada doesn't allow anyone to threaten him, and certainly she was no exception.

Later that week he called her up and asked her to see him at the caf. He sort of felt bad for ditching her the other day when she was being grounded.

Grounded…at 20...if that exists

This was his way of making up to her, of course he didn't show it to her now.

He knew her parents were rich and probably had a higher reach but he didn't care, he considered her a good friend and he wasn't going to stop seeing her just because some douche bag of a certain Mrs Gupta told him to.

However they hadn't said a word to Khushi about this, they thought it wasn't their daughter's fault, it was his fault who probably saw a rich girl and roped her in their so called friendship. As a result they decided to give him their little pep talk.

"So how's it going?"

He asked her absentmindedly replying to an email on his phone.

"Nothing much…same old same old" she said sighing, remembering her everyday boring high class routine.

"tumhe kya hua hai"

He asked letting out a sarcastic laugh at her tragic response.

"Kuch nahi…."

He put his phone away and placed his hand on hers and asked again.

"batao na"

His touch left her senseless for a second, the effect which he wasn't aware he had on her.

"Khushi?"

"hh…huh?"

"woh kuch nahi"

She got all nervous and shifted her gaze. He smiled seeing this side of her and quickly made an order.

The evening went by smooth after that, but she had started seeing him under a new light.

That night when Khushi came home, there was a new aura around her, everything seemed very alive in her otherwise dead house all of a sudden.

This sudden change of behavior didn't go unnoticed by Amber.

And she had started seeing what Khushi couldn't see, nor she realized, just yet.

Here it is, Chapter 10 as I had said.

I know it's a very short update and all of you probably want to kill me for taking ages to update this filler of a chapter.

But it is because I am losing interest but I really liked this story and I really do want to complete it, but again I m lacking motivation (as I have already said this before)

I understand your lack of interest too.

Actually you know I like this story very much especially concept .And I never lost my interest.Only some irritations because you are not updating regular.
