An update finally! Hehehehe...
This was short and sweet. To be honest...I like shorter chapters better. They are precise and crisp keeping the reader's interest hooked in place.
Now to the chapter...I love it! The slightest of touch sets sparks between these two. There is something so innocent and pure in their feelings.
Ooops. Looks like the Guptas are here for Arnav's perfect welcome. Hehehehe...I cannot wait to read what happens next.

Chapter 8|Doomed

"Shit"

"what happened?" he whispered as he tried to get the same view as her.

"Mr and Mrs Hitler are here"

He couldn't help but chuckle.

"you mean your dear parents?"

"sshh"

She quickly took out her phone and recklessly typed, nearly cracking the screen.

Taking a sigh of relief she looked at him to find him smiling like a goofball.

"What?"

"You are maniac"

"Oh shut up" she said rolling her eyes as she checked once more for the intruders.

"Its an emergency man"

When she was confirmed that they were left alone she got up and straightened her dress.

"Relax what's the worst that can happen?"

"that's what I don't know" she said gesturing with her shoulders.

She quickly grabbed the cups of coffee and handing him one she sipped on hers while she lazily rested on the counter.

"Won't you say hi to them?"

He said in a playful tone with a spark in his eyes, making the most innocent face as possible, failing miserably.

"I live with them in case you have forgotten" she said with a lazy, matter-of-factly voice.

"Khushi darling sahib and madam sahiba are calling you"

Ramu kaka said hesitatingly exchanging looks between Arnav and Khushi.

"and their mood is not too pleasant"

Uh-Oh

And so the bomb had dropped and Mr and Mrs Gupta had found out about their daughter's little plan.

Amber stood in silence beside the bed fidgeting with her duppatta looking at the ceiling, admiring the wooden floor, everywhere except at the face that were now releasing steam, steam before the volcanic eruption.

Khushi and Arnav hurriedly came to her room leaving their unfinished coffee in the kitchen. She could feel the tension near the staircase.

Not good.

Seeing the unfamiliar face Mr and Mrs Gupta's attention was diverted from taking Khushi's class to who is this lower class fellow?

To lighten up the atmosphere Khushi introduced Arnav to her parents, they faked smiles which didn't go unnoticed by Arnav and in return he faked a bigger one.

Khushi had insisted that Arnav stay for the dinner but he refused as the promise was for a coffee only and Mr and Mrs Gupta didn't seem too pleased.

Arnav left the Villa to get some fresh air and much needed oxygen as he took a sigh of relief, leaving Khushi inside to get court marshaled.

Im extremely sorry for the late update but hey! this time the gap was less than the last time😆
