Part 5: Book Store and the Delay

Important Note: Guys, I am back with the Part 5 of this FF under one roof. I have tried to include as many characters in this update as possible. As you all know that this FF has many stories to deal with as it is a combination of three shows on TV. Thanks a lot for all the support I got in form of likes and comments for my previous updates. Arnav was walking annoyed with what happened some time back. How could someone speak in that manner to him? After all who was she? Miss Lavanya Kashyap walks to him from behind. She wanted to surprise him. She suddenly hugs Arnav from behind. She expected him to be happy with the surprise, but then as always Arnav's face never showed any emotions. Even if it did, it was just pure anger. He pulled Lavanya from her wrist. Now she was facing him, while he was pressing her wrist with his tight grip. Hurt was clear on her face.

Arnav: Lavanya how many times have I said you that don't play these pranks on me? How hard is it for you to understand this simple thing?

Lavanya: ASR, but I just wanted to'

Arnav: wanted to what? Surprise me?...Look your these small things may have effected your ex boyfriends, but for me they are just crap. Do you get it?

Lavanya was already in tears. But then it was new for her. After getting into a relationship with ASR this had become a routine to hear such harsh words. This clearly showed that he was in a bad mood.

Arnav: Here, tell something and you start shedding your tears. Look your tears are no way going to affect me. They mean nothing alright?

La: (she tried to console herself and tried to ignore the harsh words, she kept her hand on Arnav's shoulders) What happened ASR? You look upset.

Arnav: Nothing. I will be back in some time.

Saying this he walked off from there, leaving behind a tear eyed Lavanya. But Lavanya was not alone, Annie and Kushi witnessed all this. Annie and Kushi now thought that they made good friends, so Annie decided to pull along Kushi to spend some time in the Ariport book store. Kushi was relinquent at the start but then gave in when convinced by Anjali her new found sister figure after Payal.

Here Padmini was now happy to find her son back, and so was the Guggal family. Madhu walked upto Suvreen who now was standing with her parents and was witnessing the emotional re union.

Madhu: Thank you so much Suvreen. I don't know how to thank you. Even though we did not know each other, you helped me like a family. Thank you so much.

Suvreen: Arey! What is this? I thought we are friends and as far as friendship is concerned there are no words of thank you or sorry.

Madhu: okay baba.

They both hug each other while Raj, Padmini, Lovely and Baldev Guggal are happy that now finally the two won't be alone in SBU.

While both the Guggal and Chaudary family were sitting together, Suvreen was lost thinking about someone who influenced her today. Yes it was none other than Yuvraj. She did not know why she felt so influenced by him. She concluded that he is really a very good person. She did not know if she is going to meet the guy ever again but she somewhere wanted to meet him again. She wanted to for'for what she too was not sure. Suddenly her phone started to ring, it was her friend Tultuli. She excused herself from the gossiping going on between Mumma Guggal and Padmini.

Here, Kushi who was witnessing the scene felt really sad for Lavanya. On the other hand Annie who had met Lavanya on several occasions before felt she deserved it.

Kushi: So sad. What was her fault even? Why does this Laad governor have to behave that rude to all? I mean he did not know me so I can understand him behaving in that manner, but then she is his girlfriend. He should not talk that way to her. Hey devi maiyya what would she be thinking?

Annie: No, she deserves this. You don't know her yet. She is such a snob I say, and the attitude she has Grrr'I don't know why Arnav is behind her at the first place. Actually no, it is not him but it is her. She is behind Arnav. After all she wants to be called the GF of the great ASR.

Kushi: GF?

Annie: haan GF'Arey Budhu GF means Girl Friend.

Kushi: Whatever, but then I cannot see her cry like that.

Telling this Kushi walks to Lavanya who was still standing there with tears welling in her eyes.

Kushi: Hey hi. I am Kushi Kumari Gupta.

Lavanya: (she hides her tears and wears a fake mask of attitude) So? (In a rude tone)

Kushi: Nothing, I just wanted to console you. I mean see that Laad Governor, I mean Arnav Singh Raizada he has no heart. So please don't waste your tears. Just ignore him'

Lavanya: (cuts kushi mid sentence) Look, stay out of this alright. At the first place I don't even know who you are. (eyeing Kushi from top to down) Going by what you are wearing, you seem to be the regular small town girl running behind fame and a seat in SBU. I am fed up of you girls. Why can't you just stay in your place? I mean how does it matter? What do you think by getting into big institutions you will become all success full. Don't forget it even requires class, which I am sorry you can never get.

Annie comes in between, as she sees that Kushi's face was again fading.

Annie: Lavanya, will you please stop talking to Kushi in that tone? You better stay away from her. (Warning)

Lavanya: Oh look whose hear to defend this small towner. Who else can it be? It is the Kiddo Annie Sighania. Annie baby, you really need to learn to maintain your class. I mean it's really sad that you always end up with people like this, who have no class.

Annie: I very well know, who I need to be with Lavanya. I think you need to learn to behave to your class. I mean it really isn't high class for you to speak so low. It does not go well with the hi-fi dress you are wearing you know.

Lavanya: (annoyed with Annie's statement) Oh'Baby, I think you need to teach your friend that she does not dare to interfere in my matter again. She is no one'Get it No One. (last two words facing Kushi)

Telling this Lavanya walks away from there. Kushi is again filled with disgust.

Annie: Kushi, I know you are feeling bad. But don't worry, just ignore. She is meant to be ignored.

Here, Suvreen finished her dose of conversation with Tultuli. She always shared every bit of information with her. She could not hide anything. She told her everything, but then she did not know why she felt something tingling in her heart when she was telling about Yuvraj. On this her friend Tultuli had even started to tease her. Suvreen disconnected the call and was feeling embarrassed after what happened. She was walking towards her parents and Madhu. Nearby, there was a small kid who was playing with his remote controlled car. The guy saw Suvreen walking all lost and decided to play a naughty prank on her. He diverted the car towards Suvreen. Suvreen was walking while she did not notice the car near her feet, she kept her foot on the car and was about to hit the ground. She closed her eyes expecting to hit the ground. But, then two strong hands protected her. Two hands held her tight. She opened her eyes to find herself staring into two chocolaty eyes. The firm grip made her feel comfortable. She realized that it was Yuvraj. She was again embarrassed with her this behavior. Yuvi too who was lost in her cute features for split of a second released her.

Suvreen: Oh thum? (embarrassed)

Yuvi: Haan'Looks like you like being in trouble. (with a friendly smile)

Suvi: Yes, if you come for my help then why not? (she responds to him again lost in him and suddenly realized that she had spoken something wrong)

Yuvi: What? (Confused)

Suvi: Nothing'I meant that Thank you. You always like helping others. Thanks to you, I did not fall. Or else that kid had planned to land me in the hospital bed. (giving a stare to the kid)

Yuvi: Hahahaha'By the way it was not his mistake. You were so lost.

Suvi: (again feels embarrassed) Ya I know.

Yuvi: Looks like it is time for me to leave. My family would be looking for me. Bye.

Suvi: Bye.

Yuvi walks away from there and Suvreen walks towards her family, where the ladies were still busy with their gossips, while her Puppa had gone to the nearby coffee shop to get coffee for all. Suvi too joins in the gossip.

RK on the other hand was still confused. He did not know why but he could connect to Raj. The day his father had left him I had become emotion less. He never had emotion to anyone other than his family, but today Raj had touched something very delicate in his heart.

While he was continuously walking with rage, anger and furiousness he suddenly stopped. He could see Madhu's face. He remembered how she had tears welled up in her eyes listening to his harsh words.

RK: Was I wrong? RK why was it necessary for you to speak that harsh to her? But then she too spoke back rudely to me? Who the hell does she think she is? How could she just think about leaving behind such a caring and loving brother? No she is wrong. And she deserved to be shouted at. She does not deserve to be loved by such a caring brother. I will not allow Raj face all that I had to face. (with tears and determination in his eyes)

He turned back with anger in his eyes. He walked searching for Raj.

Here, Suvreen wanted to go to the book store to just fetch some good novel to read. She just wanted to make sure that she was not left out in her new college. For her always books helped by replacing friends. So now as she would not have friends she can atleast have some good books that she can read.
Here, Annie and Kushi were checking out the books while Annie's phone starts ringing loudly. Some old man lost in an Old Novel gave Annie a stare for bringing him back to the real word, from his new found fantasy world. Annie, due to her sudden reaction dropped some books down. This again resulted in getting her another murderous stare from the book store owner. But, she had no time for picking up the books as, if she did not pick the call then the old uncle would split her into two parts. She ran from there apologizing to all.

Kushi seeing how clumsy Annie was gets a cute smile on her face. With this smile adorned on her lips she bends down to pick up the books. After all she had to correct the small disaster Annie had created but then her hands felt a touch. A man caught hold of her hands firmly. She was taken aback by the sudden touch. She lift her face up to see who the person was and she found familiar eyes. It was Arnav Singh Raizada. But then there was something different in him. His eyes did not have the arrogance or anger in it, but they were relaxed. They spoke volumes of calmness. His face was relaxed and instead of the usual emotionless face, now his lips had a relaxed smile. She was shocked. Was it the same ASR who she had met some time before?

Arnav, is a boy who had seen many hardships at a very small age. Though he belonged to the wealthy family, he was never happy due to the various tensions in his family. These tensions were something only he and Anjali knew. These tensions came to an end only with the death of their parents. Parents, who are supposed to be the gift to any child were actually not so in the case of Arnav and Anjali. Though he loved his parents, all he got back was tears. Thus, later he changed. He changed to a boy who was arrogant and lived only for his sister and family. He made himself independent. The Arrogance, Attitude all were a result of this. Only time he forgot about all this was when he used to read books. This secret of Arnav was never known to anyone. Not even to his family or even to Anjali. He always forgot all the tensions reading to books.

After the Kushi fiasco, he did not feel good. That is the reason he came to the Book store nearby. He did not expect Kushi or Annie to be there. He found some books fallen on ground thus, he decided to pick up, and all he felt was some familiar touch. It was Kushi.

Kushi was lost in Arnav's eyes. Probably because these very same eyes that had disgust some time back, now spoke completely a different story. A story that Kushi never expected to listen from ASR. Arnav too was lost in those eyes. Why could the ASR in him never allow him to see this side of Kushi? Why could he not see that innocence? That Love? That purity? Why ASR ignored all this? Probably the ASR eyes too did show him all this, but then the ASR who did not have heart but only brain did not want to accept it. But now, he no longer was that heartless ASR he was Arnav, only Arnav. Very rare people in the world had seen him as Arnav, but today Kushi too got to see him in that way. They stood there lost in each other. They were finding answers for many questions in those eyes which today spoke a lot.

Annie walked outside the Book store. Her phone flashed Yuvi.

Annie: Hello. (annoyed)

Yuvi: Hello. Where are you?

Annie: Yuvi, why do you always have to call me in the wrong time?

Yuvi: What happened? What did I do?

Annie: What did you do? You know what, because for you I had to take all that insult form people around me in the book store. You are'You are such an irritating person.

Yuvi: hahahaha' (starts laughing)

Annie: Why are you laughing? (irritated)

Yuvi: hahaha'nothing, I am sure you would have created a big mess there. Well I called to ask you where you are, but then I think I got my answer. I will be there. Bye. (Cuts the call and starts walking towards the Airport Book Store)

Yuvraj while walking in the glass of the shop in front of him saw Suvreen and Madhu were walking behind him. However, Suvreen and Madhu did not see him.

Yuvraj thought to himself "Arey, This girl is behind me. Is this just coincidence or is she purposefully following me?" Telling this he walked from there, with Suvreen and Madhu too following him.

RK was walking with determination to at any cost stop Madhu from entering the film industry. He was annoyed and he could not think much, all that he knew was that Raj had to be happy. Right then, there was an announcement:

"All SBU students please note. The flight to SBU has been delayed by 3 hours due to some reasons."

With this announcement, there was a buzz throughout the Airport. Every student took their smart phones out, so that they could pass on this message using Whatsapp. But, one person had a smile on his face. That was Rishabh Kundra. He got what he had to do. He saw the flight schedule and SBU flight was delayed which meant it would take off only at 12 noon now. And the only flight to Bombay was scheduled to take off at 10. Which meant it would take off in another 1 hour.

He saw Raj, uninterested with the gossip sitting in one corner, while Puppa Guggal was sitting on the other end with a newspaper. There was no one who was noticing Raj. RK gave a smirk and walked up to him.

Yuvraj, was walking towards the book store and was feeling conscious that Suvreen and Madhu even now were following him. He remembered something that his mother Manorama Raizada had once told him.

Flashback:

The entire Raizada family was present at the dining hall of the Raizada Mansion, one morning for breakfast. All were enjoying their breakfast, when Yuvraj's mobile beeped signaling a text message. Anjali who was in a naughty mood gave a naughty smile.

Anjali: Arey wah Yuvi, nowadays you get a lot of messages. Who is that ah? (teasing tone)

Shyam: Haan Rani Sahebha, you are right. Saale sahib, I hope it is not the matter of any Girl friend (With a naughty smile)

Yuvraj starts blushing and everyone starts laughing. Even Arnav gives a smile, but then Manorama leaves the cup of tea she was drinking on the table.

Manorama: Hello, Hi, Bye Bye, Giral Phriend? Nahi, This will never happen. Samaje Yuvi Bituwa?

Radha: Why Bhabi? Why cant Yuvraj beta have a Girl friend?

Aakash: Yes Maa, Bua is right. My bro is so dashing and any girl would die for him.

Manorama: No No. Yuvi will marry only the girl of my choice. You know, these low class women, they just fall behind rich guys. They just want money. They will take my son from me. Then all that I can do is say Bye Bye to my son even before saying Hello Hi.

Manohar Raizada (Manorama's husband): Manorama, why do you have to always bring money and status for every discussion?

Dadi: What to do? That comes with her blood. By the way what she said is right, girls with thinking like her always do try to pocket boys of wealthy family. (Tuanting Manorama, hinting that she too belonged to a small family)

RK: Nani, is it really necessary to make it all serious?

Manorama: Look Yuvi beta, always stay away from girls of that sort. (she completely ignored words of her mother in law and starts advising her son about how to stay away from girls)

Flashback ends.

Yuvraj turns back and finds that Suvreen was still behind him. Usually, Yuvraj ignored Manorama's talks, but today he was not able to understand. He felt that may be his mother was talking about girls like Suvreen.

He finds the Book store and sees that Annie was right there. He along with Annie walked inside, while Madhu and Suvreen too followed him.

Yuvraj was annoyed with this. Annie moved to the other end of the store where she had left Kushi behind. Yuvraj went to the sports section.

Madhu: Suvreen, actually I wanted to buy Raj some sports magazine and I have to also buy Ma a cookery book. If you don't mind, can u do me a favor?

Suvreen: Yes, tell na?

Madhu: Can you look for the sports magazine while go and check out for the cookery book.

Suvreen: Ya sure, I will be in the sports section.

Yuvraj who had just ended talking to Annie, heard just Suvreen's last sentence. He now confirmed that Suvreen was following him. He walked towards the sports section. It was in a corner in the store.

Suvreen reached the Sports section.

Suvreen: Now, where do I find?

Yuvraj who was hiding behind the book shelf comes in front of her with anger filled face. Suvreen saw him, and first was shocked and later gave a smile.

Suvi: What a coincidence? You are here?

Yuvi: Why? You did not expect to find me here? (sarcastic tone)

Suvi: (a little confused by Yuvi's tone) No'Actually'

Yuvi: Actually what?

He starts moving forward and thus putting Suvreen back. Suvreen starts walking back and hits the wall.

Suvi: Yuvraj, why you behaving weird?

Yuvi: Oh really? I am behaving weird is it? Oh ya, it is after all going all against your plan isn't it?

Suvi: Plan?

Yuvi: Yes your Plan of pocketing me. Ma was right. You girls are really chipckoo. I have never come across any girl as chipckoo as you.

Suvreen had tears in her eyes. She just ran away from there. While going she pushed Yuvraj away.

Will Kushi be able to discover the Arnav hiding behind the ASR? Will Lavanya be able to figure out a true friend in Kushi? Will Madhu and Suvreen's new found friendship harden as situations come along? Will RK's Misunderstanding be cleared? What is his plan? Will Yuvraj be able to understand Suvreen? What will happen to the broken Suvreen? What more masala will this delay of 3 hours bring? Wait for the next update of Under One Roof.
