Chapter 6 : Don't Punish Me Like This!
WHILE ARJUN WAS BUSY CURSING HIMSELF, A NURSE CAME OUT FROM THE OT, EVERYBODY RUSHED TOWARDS HER AND ASKED HER IF THEIR RIYA WAS FINE!
Nurse: dekhiye patient ka bohot blood loss ho chuka kai, unhe 3 bullets lagi hain. jinme se ek heart ke close hai. doctors ne baaki 2 bullets toh nikaal di hain, but the third one, which is near her heart is yet to be removed. unki body pe bullets ke ilaawa bhi kaafi chotein hain. we r trying our best, but the rest depends upon GOD!
GOD!, the one who sent riya like an angel in his life...yes if only god can help, he is going to beg him for riya's life...his life!
THE THING THAT DISTURBED ARJUN THE MOST WAS THAT RIYA'S PARENTS WEREN'T BLAMING HIM, THEY WEREN'T ACCUSING HIM, THEY WERE JUST CALM...
RIYA'S MOTHER UNDERSTOOD WHAT ARJUN MUST BE THINKING SO SHE WENT TOWARDS ARJUN, HELD HIS HAND AND SAID...
Riya's mother: main jaanti hoon ki tum kiya soch rahe ho, but jo ho gaya so ho gaya, we must forget the past and concentrate on our present, i know she will be alright, she promised me so! don't worry, she needs you, just be with her beta. we are humans, and to err is human. i know that you love her too. aur jab tum usse itna pyaar karte ho, hum sab usse itna pyaar karte hain, toh woh humme chod kar kahan jayegi. just have faith!
ARJUN WAS OVERWHELMED AT THIS, HE HUGGED RIYA'S MOTHER AND SAID...
Arjun: maa...usse bolo na ki woh theek ho jaye. i can't live without her now! agar usse kuch bhi hua na, then i will not be able to breathe. she is my life.
Riya's mother: ssshhh( patting his head ) woh theek ho jayegi.
5 MORE HOURS PASSED BY, DOCTORS WERE STILL OPERATING ON RIYA. SUDDENLY A DOCTOR CAME AND...
Doctor: humne third bullet nikaal to di hai but she needs more blood now! her blood group is rare too...its O- ( O negative ). and we don't have more units of that blood group now, does any one of u have blood group O- ?
Arjun: doctor, my blood group is O- , you can take mine. take every drop of my blood, but save her doctor!
Doctor: nurse, take mr. raute for the tests and then prepare for blood transfusion.
DURING BLOOD TRANSFUSION PROCESS...
Arjun ( thinking and looking at riya ): please riya! tumhe mujhe daantana hai, maarna hai, mujhse naaraaz hona hai, gussa hona hai, jo bhi karna ho karo, main complaint nahi karunga but please theek ho jao, get well soon riya. tumhaare bina nahi ji sakta main! u want to scold me, u can, but please DON'T PUNISH ME LIKE THIS!, please riya, u have to live, for me at least!
THE BLOOD WAS TRANSFUSED, FROM ARJUN TO RIYA. BUT THE DOCTORS WERE STILL SILENT! ARJUN DECIDED TO HOLD ONTO THE LAST STRING OF HOPE! GOD!
AFTER DONATING BLOOD ARJUN QUIETLY MOVED OUT OF THE HOSPITAL, HE AIMLESSELY WALKED ON THE ROAD, HE DIDN'T STOPPED UNTIL THE SOUND OF A SPIRITUAL SONG FELL ON HIS HEARS! HE WAS AGAIN AT THAT DARGAH...HE ENTERED THE DARGAH, HE WAS NOT IN HIS SENSES FULLY. HE EVEN WALKED ON THE BURNING COAL PATH. THERE HE MET THAT FAKIR BABA AGAIN WHO GAVE HIM A NEW RAY OF HOPE!

BABA'S WORDS ENLIGHTENED ARJUN'S FACE. HE HELD THAT TAVEEZ, AND LITERALLY RAN TOWARDS HOSPITAL. HE WAS NOW SURE THAT HIS RIYA IS GONNA BE FINE...
WHEN HE ENTERED THE HOSPITAL, A LOOK ON EVERYBODY'S FACE MADE HIM CURIOUS.
Arjun: aap log aise udaas kyon khade hain? ( to rathore ) sam, woh theek hai na, koi kuch bol kyon nahi raha?
Rathore: arjun!
Arjun: What????????
Rathore: she is in COMA.
THAT SHOOK THE SOUL OUT OF ARJUN.
Arjun: nahi, woh theek hai sam, bas so rahi hai, woh mujhe aise chod kar nahi jayegi. i know, she is just playing around...main abhi usse milkar aata hoon.
ARJUN SPRINTED TOWARDS RIYA'S ROOM, WHERE SHE WAS KEPT.
Arjun's mom: beta...( she was about to stop arjun but riya's mother said )
Riya's mother: usse jaane do! its ok.
Arjun's mom: but suchi...
Riya's mother: he loves her...and she needs him now!
WHEN ARJUN ENTERED THE SIGHT OF NUMEROUS MACHINES ATTACHED TO HER MADE HIM FLINCH. HE SLOWLY MOVED TOWARDS HER, HELD HER HAND AND SAT ON THE CHAIR CLOSE TO HER BED.
Arjun: pata hai riya, mujhe hamesha se lagta tha ki main tumhe pehle se jaanta hoon, see i was right again! now i know that why i felt that i will die without you, u r my true love riya. maine tumhe bohot hurt kiya, bohot rulaya na, tumhe mujhse naaraaz hone ka poora hak hai, but not like this. u know those people outside, all are crazy, woh keh rahe hai, ki u r in coma, but i know u r just sleeping and moreover teasing me! jaanta hoon ki yeh hak hai tumhara, but plaese riya mujhse baat karna mat chodo. tum meri zindagi ho, i can bear any punishment of yours but not this, DON'T PUNISH ME LIKE THIS! don't, yeh dekho main tumhaare liye dargah se taveez laya hoon, ( he tied it around her arm ), please riya get up. agar tum nahi uthi na, toh i swear i will do something...i don't know what will i do but...bas tum uth jao...samjhe ya samjhaoon...
ARJUN WAS SHATTERED...HE STARTED CRYING, HE ENTWINED HIS FINGERS WITH HERS AND BOUGHT THEM CLOSE TO HIS HEART AND WAS CRYING HARD...FEW DROPS OF HIS TEARS LANDED ON RIYA'S ENTWINED HAND AND SUDDENLY...SHE CLUTCHED ARJUN'S HAND TIGHT.
ARJUN FELT HER FINGERS MOVE AND PRESSED THE BUZZER TO CALL THE DOCTOR. EVEN DOCTORS WERE AMAZED AT THE SIGHT OF RIYA HOLDING ARJUN'S HAND TIGHTLY.
Doctor: she is responding to you mr. raute, keep on talking to her now only you can bring her back...go on...
ARJUN AGAIN STARTED CONVERSING WITH HER AND AS THOUGHT RIYA STARTED SHOWING SOME MOVEMENTS...AND SOON THE DOCTORS DECLARED THAT SHE WAS OUT OF COMA NOW ( I KNOW ITS EARLY BUT CAN'T WAIT! ) BUT WAS UNDER SEDATION.
ARJUN FELT AS IF HE WAS THE HAPPIEST MAN ON EARTH, LEAVE EARTH ITS WAY TOO SMALL. HE IS THE MOST HAPPIEST MAN AMONG THE WHOLE UNIVERSE.
AFTER 2 HOURS...
ARJUN WAS SITTING OUTSIDE ALONG WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Doctor : she is concious now, u all can meet her, but no stress, understood!
HEARING THIS EVERYBODY RUSHED TOWARDS RIYA, INSIDE HER ROOM. ARJUN WAS ABOUT TO STEP INSIDE THE ROOM BUT...
Shree: aage ki kahaani main batata hoon. ri london toh chali gayi, par woh arjun sir ko kabhi bhool nahi payi, pyaar jo kart thi..un haan...kati hai! woh har roz unhe e mails bhejti, kabhi call bhi karti but arjun sir was so occupied with himself and his goal that he never answered her mails and calls. but she never stopped that, infact 3 years back she came india, and instead of going and meeting her family, she came to mumbai to meet arjun sir only, she wanted to tell that how much she loves him, she wanted to tell his that the distance between them made her realize that what importance does arjun sir holds in her life, but she was shattered, completly heart broken, when she came to know that arjun sir married...that...roshini!, she left everything, lost contacts with her family, she was just lost. then she came to know about that murder...or i should say trap of those people, again she came back and again for only arjun sir's sake, maybe he needed a friend at that moment. but in this process she came to know about the whole plan of riyaaz and roshini, thus she started protecting arjun sir from the threat that riyaaz imposed. she joined ETF just for arjun sir's sake, she always accepted his scoldings, his harsh remarks about her and much more but in return she only gave him love, true love. and even today she is in there, inside the OT just because she was trying to save arjun sir...
BUT SHREE'S WORDS STOPPED HIM...HOW WILL HE FACE HER? HE HAD HURTED HER TOO MUCH, WILL SHE FORGIVE HIM? HE WAS NOT ABLE TO FACE HER!
i know its a little short one, and too much filmy, but that's what i guess is imagination!😆
