Ummm... Let me guess... Obviously Ad and La are not going to come face to face immediately. Perhaps a sketch made by HER will flutter and fall near HIS feet which will bring him back old memories... May be the sound of HIS footsteps will trigger something in her and SHE will show some signs of excitement but the nurse won't be able to understand why and maybe the nurse will give an extra dose of tranquilizer to calm her down.

But the fact that both of them came so close to each other after so many years will leave its impact...

ADRIT
A halt for a cup of coffee was so welcome. They were on their way again
He keyed in the password on his laptop. s h y l a
There were a few emails he needed to check.
The car moved at a steady speed.
He gazed out of the window waiting for the net to connect.
His eyes were drawn to a picture file.
He hesitated.
Clicked it open.

A poem,
They had sat together, their fingers trying to type together.
He typed a few words and she continued from where he left off.
They stopped.
She snuggled closer to him.
Looked up at his lips, hers slightly apart and inviting.
He bent his head and brushed his lips across her cheeks.
His held her close, kissed her deeply, their lips played together.
She groaned when he suddenly let her go. She opened her eyes.
He grinned stood up and scooped her and strode towards the bedroom.
The car came to a halt. They had reached.

Jaya wow I could picture two people while I was reading those lines, the touch of their bodies, their kiss, embrace. Words just fall short. I was in overdrive just like how Adrit must feel. The car halting jilted me right out of thoughts. Superb. 👏

What happened Jaya then???Why you stopped ???
Your poem is awesome and writing is a dream which luckily becomes true to me. What should I say I cant think Jaya...you are very beautiful person . I don't know whether you are elder or younger from me . So I pray to Mahadev and Ma Durga to bless you always.
