Chapter 5: The confession

After Swayam left, Rey looked at Taani

Rey: To hum kaam shuru karen?

Taani: Yes please. Maine starting kar diya hai. Main dictate karti hun, aap bas type karte jaaiye.

Rey (saluting her): Yes Boss!!😉😉

Taani just rolled her eyes and started dictating and Rey typed it. It went on for a long time. His fingers had started to ache, so he decided to take a break. He stretched himself and looked at Taani. She was not even aware that Rey had stopped. She went on dictating but Rey was not paying attention to what she was saying. He was just staring at her, thinking how gorgeous she was looking.😳😳 Soon Taani noticed that he was staring at her. They have a small eyelock.😳

Suddenly Taani came to her senses. She shook her head and then spoke to Rey

Taani: Rey vo red file pass karna please

Rey came back to his senses and was about to obey Taani when his ego came in between and thus answered back to Taani rudely

Rey (Rudely): Khud le lo... dikh nahi raha ki main kaam kar raha hun..😡

Taani was very hurt by Rey's rudeness, but still maintained her calm.😔 She got up to get the file but accidently tripped over Rey's legs. She was about to fall when he caught her securely.

(LLHH TR BG)

Then Rey came to his senses and muttered to himself under his breathe

Rey (to himself): Khud ko sambhal nahi sakti, GS ki post kya khaak sambhalegi

Taani looked puzzled and asked him😕😕

Taani: Aapne kuch kaha?

Rey put her straight and then answered loudly

Rey: Yehi ki khud ko to sambhaal nahi paati ho, GS ki post ko kya khaak sambhalogi?😡😡

Taani just had enough. She was not able to understand the sudden changes in his behaviour. She was not angry, but was very upset by the fact that he still held a grudge against her as she was the GS. She felt tears in her eyes but somehow managed to hide them. She then spoke to him😭😭

Taani (in an upset tone): Phir taana. Phir ek aur taunt. Aap mujhe please bataayenge ki maine ab kya kiya, kya galti hai meri? Aap mere saath aisa kyon behave kar rahe hai? (Sighs) Maine jaisa socha tha vohi sach hua. Aap mujhe kabhi nahi samajh paayenge.😔

This made Rey recall the Rasiya/Tujhko jo paaya incident and the proximity between them. He looked at her and saw that she was about to leave when he caught her wrist. She turned around puzzled, when he pulled her hard towards him.😕

Rey (both angry and upset): Bahut easily keh diya ki main tumhe kabhi nahi samajhta. Yehi remark tumne mujhe us din bhi diya tha. Main bhi apna question dobara puchta hun (looking into her eyes hard), KYA TUM MUJHE SAMAJHTI HO??😭😡

Hearing the same question also made her recall the same incident. She was trying hard to avoid his intense gaze as she did not want to break the promise. So she freed her wrist from his grip and answered him back in the same angry and upset tone.😭😡

Taani (loudly): Nahi... Nahi samajhti hun main aapko, kyonki aapne mujhe kabhi mauka hi nahi diya. Aap mere har baat ka ulta matlab nikalte ho, mujhpar chillate ho, mujhe taunt karte ho aur mujhse argue karte ho. Aapko to bas bahaana chahiye hota hai apni saari frustration utaarne ke liye, aur vo bhi main hi kyon... kyonki main GS hun.😡😭

Tears started welling up her eyes and she had started to break down.😭😭 She did not want Rey to see it, so she turned around and continued

Taani (tearfully yet softly): Aap please mujhe bataayenge ki aapko kis chiz se problem hai, mujhse ya phir mere GS hone se. (turned around to face him) 😭😭Agar aapko mujhse problem hai to thik hai. Main aaj ke baad aapko kaam ke sivay kabhi bother nahi karungi. Ye promise maine apne aap se kiya tha, main ye ab aapse bhi karti hun.😭😭

She was about to leave when Rey caught her wrist again. He turned her around so that she faced him. He placed one hand on her waist and pulled her, bringing her closer to him, such that her hands were resting on his chest. He lifted her chin so that she faced him. On doing so, Taani saw tears in Rey's eyes.😭😭 She was not able to see him upset, so she lifted her hand and wiped them away slowly.

Taani: I am sorry Rey. Mera aapko hurt karne ka koi intention nahi tha.😔

Rey smiled a little and slightly shook his head in negation.😊 He answered back to her softly

Rey: Sorry to mujhe tumse kehna chahiye. Apne ego aur frustration mein maine tumhe kya kya nahi sunaya, though mujhe dar to lagta tha ki main tumhe kuch zyaada to nahi keh raha hun. Mujhe khud nahi pata ki mujhe kya ho jaata tha. Par ab, ab main tumse jo bhi kahunga, sirf sach kahunga.😭

On hearing such things from Rey, she blinked and the tears which had formed in her eyes ran down her cheeks.😭😭 Rey slowly cupped her face in his hands and wiped away her tears. He looked into her eyes and spoke.

Rey: Jab tumne mujhe bataya kit um GS ho to mujhe laga ki ab dance ko is college mein vaapis laana impossible hoga. Us chakkar mein main apne thoughts aur apne ideology par itna stubborn ho gaya tha ki maine tumhe hamesha hurt kiya.😔😔

He sighed and left her. He turned around and walked towards the mirror slowly, continuing his talk.

Rey: Jab tum Shivam ke saath hoti thi, man karta tha ki tumhe use dur le jaun. Jis tarah se usne tumhare saath dance camp mein behave kiya tha, man to kiya ki main uska itna bura haal karun ki vo tumhare taraf aankh utha kar bhi na dekhe. 😡😡Jab tumne Shivan se kaha ki vo tumhare life main kuch nahi hai, to meri khushi ka to thikana hi nahi raha. 😊😊Maine tab ye realise kiya ki jo feeling tumhare liye feel karta tha, ye dosti se kuch zyaada tha, kuch alag sat ha. Ek ajeeb si khushi milti hai jab tum mere saath hoti ho. 😊😊Aur agar is feeling ko pyaar kehte hai, to main tumse bahut pyaar karta hun. Itna, ki main khud nahi jaanta.😊😊

Taani was just rooted to her place.😲😲 She was finding it hard to believe that Reyaansh Singhania, the heartthrob of all the girls in the college, and moreover her Prince Charming, had confessed his love to her. 😲😲How she had patiently waited for this dream to come true. She also recalled the day when her love was rejected by him, but she brushed aside that thought.😊😊

Rey looked at her and understood that she was thinking about the day he rejected her love. He knew he had done wrong and wanted to set things right, but did not have any strength and courage left to do so. He started to walk out of the rehearsal hall. 😔Taani saw his actions and ran towards him and hugged him tight from behind. At first Rey was shocked and thought he was dreaming,😲😲 but then he felt her soft hands sliding from his stomach to his chest and her head resting on his back. He smiled and squeezed her palms hard. 😊😊He turned around and saw her crying. He held her shoulders and told her the three most beautiful words

Rey: I LOVE YOU!!😊😊

Taani (tearfully): I LOVE YOU TOO!!😊😭

They hugged each other,🤗 released all their pains and moved towards happiness. They both wept in each other's arms for quite a long time. They looked into each other's eyes and found themselves and their love embedded there. . Though nothing had to be said in between them and their hearts conveyed their feelings but the silence still existed. Anyone of them could have broken it and started the talk but both were apprehensive because in each other's eyes apart from the immense love they could see there also exist a pain which they had endured during their separation which only the other could understand. Outside everything might seem serene and anyone looking at them that there was no problem in between them.

Yes there was no problem in between them but some unspoken thought, some unspoken feelings; some questions still resided inside them. Some feelings had been housed in them from a long time and had never found a way out while some had crept in during their relation and some during the separation. Love is the way you can understand other's feeling without any words. They could do so but the pain that had to be vented out of them. Holding the feelings and pains longer was no longer an option. They knew they had to let out them, but waited for the right time to do so.😊😊

Rey then rested his forehead on hers. Taani smiled slightly and spoke to him

Taani: Rey, I love you. Main aapse pyaar karti thi, karti hun aur hamesha karti rahungi. Main apne aap ko ab nahi rok sakti. 😊Its not that ki maine koshish nahi ki, but bloody hell hota hi nahi. 😆Mera dil hamesha aapki side leta tha. Main...

But Rey did not let her speak another word as he had pulled her into a passionate kiss. He slowly slid his hand on her waist and pulled her closer, feeling her petite feminine figure. She too reciprocated hard, sliding her hands to his neck.❤️

After sometime they broke the kiss. He just looked at her. He bent forward to kiss her again, but she turned around and walked away from him slowly, blushing hard. ☺️He slowly walked towards her and held her arms, pulled her towards him so that she bumped into his chest. He bent and planted a kiss on her shoulder and slowly slid up to her neck feeling her soft skin with his lips. She closed her eyes and breathed hard, feeling the passion. He slid his hands towards her stomach. Her top was a little short, so her stomach was bare. She shivered on his touch. He started kissing her neck and her shoulders. She turned her neck in the opposite side, giving him more place to explore.

He slid his hand down her arm and squeezed her palm, intertwining his fingers with hers. He then moved her hair to one shoulder and slid his fingers down the interlaced strings of her top, feeling her at some places. She felt a shiver down her spine and felt goose bumps erupt on the places where he touched her. She could not resist the temptation any longer and she turned around. He placed his warm lips gently on hers and kissed her slowly. 😊😊She slid her hands up his neck and then to his hair, massaging it. This drove him crazier and pulled her close, sucking her lips and feeling her sweetness.

They broke the kiss due to lack of air, but still held each other, their foreheads and there nose touching. Rey moved back a bit and looked at her. He then jiggled his eyebrows up and down, smiling mischievously. 😉😉She blushed hard and looked down.☺️ He just shook his head and hugged her tight, she also hugged him back.🤗

At that moment, someone cleared his throat very loudly. They turned towards the door and saw Swayam and the whole gang. Swayam looked as if he was going to hit someone very hard. 😡😡This scared both of them and they broke the embrace, but still held each other's hand. 🤢🤢Swayam then walked towards Rey and stood in front of him.

Rey (stammering a bit): Swayam, um... listen bro I...😕

But Swayam just raised his palm as an indication to stop talking. Swayam then turned towards Taani and looked at her hard. 😡Rey just looked way too scared, not for himself but for her.

Taani was also way too scared to see her bhai in this avatar.😲😲 But a reassuring look from Rey calmed her. She took a deep breath and then spoke to Swayam.

Taani: Bhai baat ye hai ki main aur Rey ek doosre ko pasand karte hai. Hum ek dusre se bahut pyaar karte hai.🤔

Swayam did not say anything but continued to stare at her. Taani sighed and gave up explaining him. However she continued talking.

Taani: Main chahti to aapse jhut bol sakti thi, par main nahi bolungi. I hope ki aapko is relationship se problem nahi hoga. Agar hai to hum saath mein nahi rahenge...😔

Saying so she lowered her head. She was expecting a good scolding from him, but to her surprise, Swayam pulled her into a tight hug.😲🤗 He then looked at her and spoke

Swayam: Mujhe koi problem nahi hai. Rather I am happy with your choice, coz he is the perfect gentleman.😊😊 I am very happy for both of you.😊😊

Both Taani and Rey heaved a sigh of relief. Then Rey looked at Swayam in mock anger.

Rey: Saale, agli baar darne ke liye mujhe horror movie dekhne ki zarurat nahi hai. Seedhe tere paas aa jaunga.😆

All laughed loudly. 😆😆Swayam went and stood in between both of them, keeping both his hands on their shoulders. He then spoke to Rey

Swayam: Please take good care of her. She is very precious to me.😊😊

Rey (reassuringly): I will. I promise I won't let anything happen to her.😊😊

Swayam hugged both of them🤗 and turned to the gang.

Swayam: So now I declare Taani and Rey as a couple!!👏👏

Everyone hooted loudly. 👏👏Taani and Rey hugged each other. Then suddenly Nil spoke.

Nil: Bhai ab to hum khulke bolenge.

Swayam: Arre ab to main bhi bolunga.😃😃

Taarey: Kya??😕

Everyone (raising their hands): CHEMISTRY!!!!😃😆

Taani just blushed hard and hid her face in Rey's chest. ☺️Rey laughed lightly and held her protectively.😊🤗

So kaisa laga... Plz comment. I know that all Taarey fans are impatiently waiting for the actual confession on the show. Ye update padhkar tum aur restless hue ya thoda sa relief mila ho, jaise bhi ho, do mention it in you comments... the next chapter would end this ff and it will too contain cute Taarey moments...
