Chapter 6: Happily ever after

Finally everything was sorted. Taani and Rey had confessed their love to each other.😊 They still had their cute nok-jhoks but it never led to any major misunderstandings.😉 The whole gang continued with their dance, but also took keen interest in other activities.

Inside the class

The whole gang was attending the lecture. Taani was not present as she was busy with some other work. This made Rey very restless and impatient. However, his behaviour did not go unnoticed by the rest of the gang. They all smirked widely. Then Rey noticed the whole gang looking at him, smiling widely...

Rey: WHAT??😕

Nil: Abey zyaada attitude mat dikha... hume pata hai ki tu Taani ke liye wait kar raha hai.😉

Rey just rubbed his hair and blushed.😳 He then asked

Rey: Vaise vo hai kahan?😲

Swayam: VP ke paas hai, kuch urgent kaam tha to use rok liya. After all, vo GS hai, to aaj lectures attend nahi karegi.

Rey became sad.😔 He sighed and then concentrated on his work. After the lecture ended, he was about to leave when Vicky stopped him.

Vicky: Arre cheer up Rey!!!😉 We will have fun, thodi der mein sab rehearsal hall mein milte hain... aur vaise bhi dude, jab se tu Taani ke saath relationship mein aaya hai, tu poore din usi ke saath rehta hai. Thoda time hamare saath bhi to spend karle yaar😔...

This hit Rey. After all, whatever Vicky said was true. Ever since he became committed, he had ignored his friends for quite some time. Rey felt guilty on doing so and then spoke to Vicky.

Rey: Ok dude!! Aaj pura din tumhare saath rahunga. Thodi der mein RH mein milte hain. It's high time I fulfilled my duties as a best friend.😊

All cheered loudly.😊 But Rey was sad. 😔He had not talked to her the whole day. On top of that, she also did not try and meet him even once. He went to the rehearsal hall and danced. This cheered him a little bit. Dance was the way through which he would cheer up and forget his worries and troubles.😊😊

However, during the dance session, he continuously glanced at the door for her, but she did not come. 😔He also tried calling her but she did not pick up her phone. This made him very upset.😭 He tried to continue his dance, but was not able to focus. He then turned and spoke to the gang.

Rey: Guys main ghar jaa raha hun. I will meet you all tomorrow.

Nil: Arre lekin hua kya?😲

Rey: I am very tired... Aaj ke lectures attend karke aur abhi dance karke. Main tum logon se kal milunga.😔

He then left the RH. They all knew why he was upset but did not push the matter further.😔 After 15 minutes, Taani entered the rehersal hall, looking tired and messy.

Taani (panting slightly): Hi guys!!

All: Hey Taani!!😊

Swayam: Tum itne der se VP sir ke saath kya discuss kar rahi thi?

Taani: Arre bhai, baat ye hai ki kal internal audit hone vala hai, to 😲VP sir ne kuch reports complete karne ko kaha tha. And speaking about reports, unhone mujhe aapko ye inform karne ko kaha hai ki aapko aur Sharon ko cultural activities ki saari reports update karne ko kaha hai since aap dono CS aur ACS ho. 😊

( FYI, Sharon has returned and she is now the CS and Swayam as ACS)😊😊

She then opened her bag and handed him some files, saying that those had to be updated on urgent basis.

Swayam: Ok thanks for the update as well as these files... main abhi ghar pahunchkar kaam shuru karta hun.😊

Taani (whispering): Jaldi jao, vo aapka atrium mein wait kar rahi hai aur kaafi gusse mein hai.😉

Swayam (whispering): Acha ji.. Vaise dekha jaaye to Rey bhi kuch kam gusse main nahi tha, tumhara wait karte karte thak gaya aur vo bhi ghar chala gaya.😉

Taani looked at him shocked. She then took out her phone and saw 18 missed calls. 🤢😲Swayam saw it too and smirked at her.😃

Taani: Oh no... Ab kya karun?😲

Swayam: Jao, jaake milo. Jaldi.

Taani: Haan jaati hun.

Taani then rushed out of the college and went to his house. She then knocked on the door, mentally preparing herself for an outburst from his side. He then opened the door and saw her. He glared at her hard.😡She gulped in fear and held her ears, putting on a sorry face.

However, this did not work. He just shook his head and went inside, Taani followed him there.

Taani: I am sorry Rey. Vo VP sir ne mujhe bula liya tha apne paas aur upar se maine apna phone silent par karke locker mein chod diya tha. To mujhe pata hi nahi chala ki aapne call kiya tha.😭😭

Rey (In a sarcastic manner): Haan haan kyon nahi... GS ki duties pura karne ke liye time hai, par apne boyfriend ko ek call karne ke liye bhi time nahi hai.😡 Challo boyfriend na sahi, par main to tumhara assistant bhi hun. Mujhe kaam ke baare mein bhi bataana zaruri nahi samjha hoga.

Listen Taani, mera mood is waqt bahut kharaab hai, so please leave me alone. Tum jao yahaan se.😡😡

But Taani did not give up so easily. She went and stood in front of him.

Taani: kya main sach mein jaaun?😔

Rey: Haan.😡

Taani (In a small voice): Sacchi?😔

Rey (shouting angrily): TAANI PLEASE LEAVE NOW!!😡😡

Taani got scared. Tears began to form in her eyes.😭😭 She packed all of her things in her bag and walked towards the door.

Taani: Aapka mujhse naraaz hona valid hai. Par mera aapko hurt karne ka koi intention nahi tha. Agar mere jaane se aapko better feel hota hai to main chali jaungi. I am sorry.😭😭

She started to leave when Rey suddenly hugged her from behind tightly. She stopped at her place as she felt his hands gripping her waist and his face in the crook of her neck. He turned her so that she faced him and saw tears in her eyes.😭This made him feel even guilty.😔😔 He cupped her face in his palms and slowly wiped away her tears.

Rey: Baat ye hai ki maine tumhe aaj bahut zyaada miss kiya tha. Tum mera call nahi answer kar rahi thi, to main aur bhi upset ho gaya tha. I am sorry Taani. Main itna upset tha ki maine tumhe bina soche samjhe hurt kiya. I am sorry Taani, I really am very sorry.😭😭

Taani shook her head in negation, indicating that it was ok. Rey then hugged her tightly.

Rey: Promise me ki aaj se tum mujhse dur jaane ka thought bhi nahi sochogi.😔

Taani: Krishna ji ki kasam, aaj ke baad aise khyaal kabhi bhi nahi sochungi.

They stood still hugging each other for quite some time. Then Taani broke the embrace and spoke to him

Taani: Chalo ab kuch kaam karen? Kal internal audit hai college mein aur ye reports humein complete karni hain...😊😊

Rey smiled and agreed. 😊They sat on the couch and started their work. It went on for quite a long time. Taani, who was already very exhausted after a very long day, put the file.🤢🤢 She stood and stretched herself. Rey saw this and hugged her lightly from behind, his hands around her waist and his chin resting on her shoulder.🤗

Rey: Meri princess thak gayi??

Taani pouted and nodded a yes. He turned her around and asked again

Rey: You want to drink some coffee??

Taani nodded like a small child. Rey smiled at her face, thinking how adorable she looked when she pouted. 😊He kissed her forehead and went to the kitchen.

Taani took a deep breathe and walked towards the window. She was feeling happy as all her dreams were slowly coming true. 😊A light breeze flew and she stood there admiring the moon. Rey came with two cups and saw her smiling.😊 He too smiled. 😊He kept the cups on the table and went and stood beside her, his arm around her bringing her close to him.

Rey: Kya dekh rahi ho...

Taani: Kitna pyaara lag rha hai na bahar...

Rey: (staring outside) Hmmm...

Rey then just turns around and then they realize their faces are so close. They had been this close b4 but tonight it felt something different to both of them. It was like the proximity was sending sparks and they had an urge to pull away but at the same time just stand there like that. Taani on seeing Rey's gaze on her just lowered her lashes. It was a beautiful set-up. Rey saw her face which had a different glow which he couldn't fathom was inner feelings of her emanating outside due to their proximity after confession or due to the dim light spread over them.

Rey could feel the adrenaline rush through him. He felt a jolt of electricity passing though him. He wanted to hold back the urge of closing the distance and wait for her response but he didn't know that when his thoughts became action and soon he found himself closing the distance and kissing her. He settled his hands around her waist and jerked her forward such that her hands rested on his chest and he deepened the kiss. He could feel the essence of her sweetness and he felt it the most natural thing to do.

(Taani's feeling over the proximity ):

Taani just lowered her lashes on seeing his intense gaze. She felt her cheeks flush. She had never experienced this before. They had been closer before but never did she feel like this. She felt emotions roaring inside her like a raging storm in the sea. Before she could fathom any reason she felt his lips upon her. She was shocked. But shocked wasn't the correct word to describe what she felt. She went numb for the time. When he pulled her, her hands rested on his broad chest. She didn't know how to respond. With another contact she felt another storm rising inside her different in the intensity from the other. If the other storm could cause some damage in an area then this storm could shake the area.

Rey after nibbling on her lips for some time started returning to the senses. As mind took control over him he realised that Taani hadn't responded. He felt guilty as he should have asked for her approval. He broke the kiss but still his lips were touching her lips.

Taani didn't know how to react but then she felt like he was withdrawing off. As soon as he stopped kissing she realised the emotions that had been raging inside her. It was of pure desire. She knew as he stopped kissing that she never wanted him to stop. But he was withdrawing so she captured his lips this time.

Rey was taken aback by the sudden reaction of Taani. He hadn't dreamt of this. As soon as she took his lips into hers he felt the heat and passion radiating.

Taani moved her hands from his chest slowly around his neck. Rey felt the tingling sensation as she slid her hands around his neck. This was the last straw. He took hold of her strongly then ever moving her hands and her waist feeling her petite feminine figure savouring the moment. He nudged open her mouth and he slid his tongue inside her and she also did the same. Their tongues were playing inside while their hands were strengthening their hold on the other as if clinging for their dear life. They felt their desires and passion reach to their peaks. This was the moment for them.

They slowly parted as they were brought back to the real world by the sound of Taani's phone. They looked at each other's flushed faces. Both of them had another glow radiating out of them. They still were in each other's embrace.

Taani: I love u Rey. Thank u so much for coming in my life and making it so beautiful.😊😊

Rey: I love u too. You truly are the person I could ever imagine to end up with.😊😊

She broke the embrace and went to check her phone. It was a message from Swayam,

"Agar tumhara kaam khatam ho gaya to please jaldi se ghar aa jao. Main apni behan ko bahut miss kar raha hun. 😔😔Come soon. Take care, love bhai"

Rey: Kya hua Taani?

Taani: Bhai ka msg hai. Mujhe ab chalna chahiye.

Rey (pouting): Jaana zaruri hai?😔

Taani laughed a little. 😆She pulled his cheeks and answered him lovingly.

Taani: Haan Rey, varna bhai naraaz ho jayenge.

Rey sighed and agreed. He gave her company till the door. She was about to leave when she kissed him on his cheek and spoke to him

Taani: Kal milte hai college mein. Take care and love you.❤️

Rey smiled at her and nodded a yes.😊😊 She then blushed and left.☺️ Meanwhile Rey just smiled thinking about her and became happy with the turn of events that took that day. He looked up smiling.😊😊
