It all started when the destiny started playing it's games...
"Amma humne khana tayaar kar diya hai, bas do whistles ke baad gas band kar dena" Khushi instructed her mother sitting in the living area reading the newspaper.
"Theek hai Khushi bitiya hum dhyan rakhenge " she replied . Khushi came out of the kitchen and stood next to her mother. "Wo amma hum thodi der bahar ghumke aate hai"
"Zara ruko hum bhi tumhre saath chalat hai" before she could finish her sentence, Khushi cuts in;
"Nahi amma hum akele ho ke aate hai, kuch dere akele rehna chahtein hai bas..."
"Theek hai magar Khushi sab theek to hai na, humein bohot chinta hoti hai tumhari?" Her mother asked worriedly
"Jee amma sab kuch theek hai, accha to hum apko ghante do ghante bad milte hai", Saying that she left the house.
After few minutes Shashi arrived back from his work with a briefcase in his hand, talking to someone on the phone;
"Yes Mr Kapoor, I have analysed the project report, so far I'm happy with the prospect your offering us but I need time till tomorrow morning as I want my daughter's suggestion as well. I hope you don't mind, I'm really sorry for causing the delay in this deal but I need my daughter's approval as well because she is the one who came up with the idea of launching Mrs India fashion show... Again I'm sorry for the delay caused by me... Thank you Mr Kapoor, See you tomorrow" saying that he disconnected the phone. It has been 10 minutes since he has arrived but his lovely wife was nowhere to be seen which was quite weird as she always opens the door for him and welcomes him with a huge smile everyday. "Jai Prakash! Jai Prakash!" his servant appears in few seconds and takes his suitcase away.
Finding Garima, he entered the kitchen and there he saw his wife who was into some deep thoughts .. He went close to her and shaked her slightly... Garima came back to her senses;
"Garima tum theek to ho na?" he was worried
"Hun jee hum bilkul theek hai, aap ka din kaisa guzra?"
"Mera din theek thak tha aj kafi meetings thi regarding the launch of the new show Mrs India, aj humein Khushi ki bohot zaroorat thi magar aj wo office nahi ayi isiliye aj thoda late ho gaya"
"Aaj Khushi bohot udaas lag rahi thi, abhi tak wo shaadi ke sadme se bahar nahi nikli... Upar se aisen dikhawat hai jaise wo bilkul theek hai magar andar se wo inti toot chuki hai ki uska gam humse dekhat nahi jawat hai..." Tears started rolling out of her eyes. Shashi couldn't see her crying like that and he hugged her tight confronting her saying that everything will be alright as the time will pass Khushi will get out of the shock herself...
She has been walking for more than an hour now, she didn't knew where she was going, she just went along where the path was heading... It was quite dark and Khushi stopped walking any further and went and sat on the nearby bench in the park.
Looking at the sky she starts speaking;
"Kyun Devi maiyaa apne hamare saath aisa kyun kiya... Aakhir humne kisi ka kya bigada hai jo hamare saath itna bada dhoka hua? Kyun hamein hamesha dard milta hai jab ki hum sab ka bhala chahte hai? Hum kitna pyar karte the unse or wo chee [tears starts rolling down her cheeks] humein ghin aati hai ye sochkar ki hum kabhi aise insaan se pyaar karte the jiske liye aish karna or ladkiyon ke saath [she feels disgusted saying that] Kyun apne unhe meri zindagi mein bheja? Hum acchhi khaasi zindagi bita rahe the apni ghar parivaar ke saath phir kya zaroorat thi us ghatiya admi ko meri life mein bhejni ki jo kisi aur aurat ke saath ... Khair bohot ho gaya ab hum hum or anso nahi bahaenge us insaan ke liye jise hamari koi kadar nahi... Infact ab humein [LOOKING AT THE SKY AGAIN] apke upar se bhi bharosa uth gaya hai or aj ke bad hum apki pooja nahi karenge pooja to door ki baat hai hum kisi bhagwan ki moorti ki taraf dekhenge bhi nahi ... Saying that she gets up from the bench and wipes her tears; start heading back towards her place... She can't remember the way back and the battery of her phone was low so she wasn't even able to use GPS in her phone...
"Damn this phone! Let's hope I see someone on the way for help. Dev..[she stops] no way I am going to ask her for help, it's all because of her but I can still manage on my own without anyone's help" after about two-three minutes a guy in his thirties come near Khushi. First Khushi got a bit relieved thinking that this guy might be able to help but as the guy got closer she got nervous and had weird feelings about him...
"Kya hua janeman itni raat ko sunsaan galiyon mein kahan ja rahi ho?" he was now very close to her
"Listen you f**kin asswhole just leave me alone or else you'll regret it for the rest of your life"
"Wow angry young women han?"
"Listen get the hell out of here or else [the guy cuts her in]
"Or else what, whose gonna help you , mujhe to yahan door door tak koi nahi dikhayi de raha hai" saying that the guy held Khushi's wrist really tight.
"Listen Mister don't blame that I didn't warn you, you've got last chance [the guy started laughing hard out]
"main to bohot dar gaya MADAM" he said sarcastically
That was it Khushi had now had it, this guy has just pushed her in one of the worst times... She felt sorry for the poor guy she was about to teach him a lesson when a strong male voice interrupted them. She looked at her right side where the guy was standing; he was tall, skinny dressed in jeans and a black shirt with rolled up sleeves. This guy was quite attractive and hot. His voice bought her back to her senses;
"Chod is ladki ko isse pehle main tera moon tod doon" he said with anger filled in his voice but before he could continue any further Khushi signalled him to stop talking and faced back to the guy standing opposite her. The guy was still laughing and THAT WAS IT!! Khushi has had enough , she pushed the guy really hard and kicked him in his stomach, when the guy bent due to pain she held his hair with her hands and pulled him up slapped him really hard on his face and then again kicked him on "the spot" the guy fell on the road with a loud THUMP and khushi said; "Ainda agar mere samne bhi nazar aye to tumhara wo hashar karoongi ki tum kabhi chal phir bhi nahi paoge samjhe" the guy was lying lifeless on the road and did not had any energy left to say a single world...
The another guy who watched the whole scene in front of her was totally shocked ... He couldn't believe a girl nearly killed a muscly guy all by herself and the guy was not even able to hit her once and let alone hitting the girl the guy couldn't even defend himself from her. WOW was all that came out of his mouth!! He saw that the girl was moving away and he remembered that he needed to ask her something...
"Excuse me?"
The girl turned around with a confused look.
"Yes?" she asked
"Wo actually I am new here and I have lost my way, can u please direct me to this address..." he passed her the slip with the address written on it.
"Err... The thing is that even I am lost as I didn't realised where I was walking and I need help myself... Sorry.. But i do know where you want to head it's just that I need to get out of here and get onto the main road"
"Ohh, I know the way out of here but just not sure where this place is [he was referring to the slip in Khushi's hands]
"Ohh so can you please direct me where I have to go in order to get out of here??" she asked with no emotions but just a blank face. The guy found it quite weird/different as the girl didn't show any emotions or feelings but he kept his thoughts aside and started directing her;
"Err... Basically u have like 2-3 kilometres with a short cut and 8 kilometres if on vehicle" before he could continue the girl snapped him in between
"What? I have walked that long SHIT" She said that with still no emotions or anything just few blank words.
"Have you walked all the way?" he asked
"Yeah"
"Ohk well I have my car here if u like I can drop you home" he tried to help her which was quite weird as he himself needed help.
"That'll be really helpful actually as I need to get back home before it's too late and my parents start worrying for me.. .I hope you don't mind.."
"Nah not at all." After that they walked few steps till where the car was parked and the girl sat on the front passenger seat. The guy started driving the car;
"By the way my name is Arnav and you are?" he tried building up a conversation
"Nice to meet you I am Khushi"
"Nice name" he complimented
"Thanks"
"By the way are you like a police officer or something?"
"Nope I own a business named under Guptas Fashion Designing.. Why?'
"Nothing it's just the way u fought with the guy before"
"By the way I also own a fashion company AR Designs"
Khushi was the least interested in these talks therefore replied with a "Ohk" Arnav sensed she doesn't wanna talk and after that he remained quiet as well. They got out of the forest and now Khushi gave him the directions to the address he was looking for. They reached at Arnav's destination.
"thanks" he said in one word though he found that not quiet pleasing but looking at Khushi he thought thats alright as she doesn't talk much.
Khushi just nodded.
"Well thanks for dropping me here my house is closeby so I'll manage" Arnav could have dropped her at her home but he knew she wouldn't want to go with him and also he didnt care much as well so he let it be...
Khushi walked back at her home and Arnav started driving towards the Pub where his friend's party was held.
