Khushi entered the hall followed by Arnav. NK and Lavanya gave a huge welcoming smile to them. Lavanya and Nk receive them with a hug.
"Dude she's Lavanya my girlfriend nd la" Lavanya cuts him mid way saying;
"I knoe he's Arnav "The Dude" and ur best friend" she extends her hand for a handshake and Arnav shakes his hands with her.
"Nice to meet you sexy" Arnav compliments Lavanya in a friendly way and winks at her. La smiles and says;
"Tumse milke bhi bohot accha laga Hottiiee" NK knew that they were just being friendly but somewhere deep inside his heart he didn't like them talking so freely with each other at all. But he ignored those stupid feelings.
"By the way this one's for you sexy" Arnav offered Lavanya the gift he got for her birthday. WHAT THE!!! AGAIN HE CALLED MY GIRLFRIEND SEXY... No matter how close he was with Arnav but he couldn't tolerate him calling his girlfriend sexy. He was in deep thoughts when Lavanya's voice broke the chain of his stupid thoughts.
"Aww thanks alot for my present" Saying that Lavanya hugged Arnav and he hugged her back. That was it and NK was now fuming with anger which was totally oblivious to Arnav and Lavanya. He saw Khushi standing there and looking really bored and somewhere pissed maybe... Then his brain clicked.
"Hi Khushi nice to meet you" NK welcomed her with a huge smile. Lavanya and Arnav were now listening to their convo. OHH SHIT NK UR DEAD MAN NOBODY CALLS KHUSHI WITH HER NAME EXCEPT HER PARENTS AND ME ... BHAGVAN PLEASE KHUSHI KA GUSSA SHANT KAR DENA
"People call me by my last name NK miss Gupta that is, I hope I am clear"
YE KAISI HAI NK NE ITNE PYAAR SE USE KHUSHI BULAYA MAGAR NAHI YAHAN PE BHI APNE AMIIR HONE KA ROB JHAAD RAHI .. CALL ME KHUSHI GUPTA MISS LAAD GOVERNOR NA BULAOO but he didn't want to say anything as she was La's friend.
"I'm so sorry Miss Gupta... No offense please but u have such nice name why dont you like people calling by your first name; I m-mean that Khushi is a really nice name thats all"
Khushi wanted to scream at him but her heart didn't allow her as the guy sounded so sweat and nice and also that he was her best friend's boy friend so she said;
"Well thanks for the compliment NK but I like people calling me by my last name only except those who are close to me and since ur my best friend's boyfriend u can call me Khushi". That was SHOCKING FOR LA first Khushi didn't get angry and then allowed him to call her by her first name. NK on the other hand thought challo she's not that bad as i heard of her.
"So Khushi this is Arnav my best friend and Arnav this is Khushi" NK introduced both of them. No matter how much Arnav hated that chick but he couldn't be rude to her and therefore he said;
"Nice to meet you" and Khushi didn't wanna create a scene there so half heartedly she said;
"Yeah nice to meet u to"
Khushi was walking back to the sitting area where everybody was sitting and chatting with each other. To be truthful she quite liked NK's company she was happy that her best friend got a nice boyfriend. Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt some cold drink on her sleeves of her shirt. She looked up and saw it was none other than HIM who had been giving his best to spoil her evening.
"I'm so sorry"
"Whats ur problem u clumsy man, can't u do anything without ruining or damaging something u stupid ass" she fumed in anger at him. Arnav was really hurt by her words but he ignored them as it was indeed his mistake so he again politedly apologized;
"Look I am really sorry actually someone pushed me from back and I accidentally spilled some drink on you"
"Some u bloody runied my dress, why the f*ck are you even here coz since u came all u've been doing is ruining my day by ur clumsiness and laziness. Watever just get the hell out from my way moron" she cleaned her sleeve with a tissue and walked back to the sitting area.
On the other hand Arnav was damn hurt by this behaviour of hers who doesn't do mistakes man but that does not mean she could say anything to him. He wanted to to slap that girl but he ignored that and just kept quite until she left. He went back to the sitting area.
"Hey NK I'm feeling a bit tired I wanna go back" Arnav said
"Heyy u can't just go like that or waise bhi hum aaj 2 saal ke baad mil rahein hai and ur not going anywhere understood?" NK declared
Arnav wanted to go but he indeed wanted to spend some time with his friend who he met after two years today. So he agreed to stay for a little while and he decided to ignore Khushi he didn't even look at her once. "Chal theek hai but yaar lets go and get some drinks from bar what say?" he wanted to get away from Khushi ASAP
"Ya sure lets go; hey La do u wanna drink?"
"Yes please" La asked
"And what about you Khushi?"
"Umm yeah sure as my last drink got spilled because of a clumsy jerk" she said that looking at Arnav and Arnav was fisting his hands at the same time trying to control his anger.
"Ohk Cool" they then left
"Lavanya how come NK and Arnav are such best friends I mean he just came back from London right?" Khushi wanted to knoe what was so great about that jerk that NK loves him so much.
"Oh actually NK was ten when he met with a car accident. He was coming back from shimla with his parents in their car. Their house was only few kilometers away when a truck came from the other way and banged into their car. After that incident NK found himself in a hospital. When the nurse saw him regaining consicence she called the outsider to come and visit the patient. And it was none other than Arnav himself. Arnav told him about the whole incident how NK met with an accident and his parents as well and that his parents have died on the spot but NK was saved. Since that day Arnav took care of NK as if he's his own brother; and then Arnav had to go to London for 2 years for his studies and he came to india last year but he didn't tell anyone about his whereabouts as he wanted to settle down in his business and earn for him and NK and his family. He told NK that he's back and after that they met

Khushi was really touched by this story. She was feeling really bad as she recollected her first encounter with him when he had helped her. She also thought that she has been saying such bad things to him but in return he never spoke ill about her. She felt really really bad. Her thoughts were again interrupted when NK and Arnav came back with the drinks. NK offered the drink to Lavanya and that left no choice for Arnav to pass the drink to Khushi. He offered her the drink without even looking at her when he heard her say thank you Arnav and he then looked at her; she was smiling. WHAT THE WHY IS SHE SO NICE TO ME ALL OF A SUDDEN ??
"ur welcome" he said with a fake smile and Khushi figured that out as well.
So Arnav I heard that ur a great singer, please sing for us" La requested
"I'd love to but not today as i dont feel like singing today" he said

"I'm not taking a no for an answer and you'll have to sing"
"Err okay" he agreed as he didn't wanna be spoil support .
He went on stage and took the mike.the song he sang was this

The crowd was damn crazy after the song ended and kept repeating ONCE MORE ONCE MORE!! But Arnav was in no mood to sing again. He politely refused and came of the stage. Khushi all the time was feeling and guilty and wanted to apologise for her rude behaviour. This was weird as she had never felt bad for being rude before but this guy had turned her into the old Khushi; which is nothing less but a nightmare YES khushi didn't want to be like herself from past as people like her are always cheated. But today she broke her records for some random stranger who she only met two days ago and all the guy had been doing is helping her and being nice to her regardless of how many cursings Khushi had given him. Khushi was waiting for him to finish the song quickly as she wanted to apologize and never show her face to him again... Not because she didn't like him but because she had broken all her limits and loathed with her anger at the poor guy. YES she will apologize and leave straight away after that. Arnav came down the stage and NK and Lavanya complimented and thanked him for making la's night special J After half an hour they all were leaving. Khushi saw that Arnav was paying some tip to one of the waiters; she quickly made her way there and called his name;
"Arnav" [he turned around not in any mood to fight; he started walking away]
"What the Hey you I am talking to you how dare you walk away!" [again she lost her temper which pissed Arnav to heights first this retard gets hyper on taking a parking spot and then few drops of drink on her sleeves turn her into a mad lady and now she has a problem in walking away as well... Who does she think she is??? Laad Governess kahin ki... Devi maiyaa aise log kyun banate ho aapp??? I dont wanna spend another second with this mad women (he again starts walking aaway)
"Listen i am warning you for the first and last time when i am talking nobody dares to walk away and be it anyone is that understood?"
That was it for Arnav, he has had enough. He turned around and anger was evident in his eyes.
"And why's that Miss Gupta? I knoe that people are afraid of you Miss Monster and they do what you ask them to do but my case is different because i don't give a crap of what you do or want and is that understood? Or waise bhi what else is left for insulting me? I dunno why am I even wasting my time talking with you... I don wanna hear anything and i am going!"
[saying that he started walking away... Khushi was really really angry as no one has ever talked to her like this before... She didn't wanna stay in the party anymore; she politely excused and left for her house]

Never has Arnav talked to anyone with such disrespect nor has anyone talked to him with such disrespect... He couldn't understand why that mad lady is always on such an angry mode... He was hurt by her words and whenever he was sad he always used to walk and spend some time alone with the packet of chanas; which helped him to take his tension away... He started walking down the road. After walking for 50 meters he saw chana seller by the road.
"Bhaiya ek packet dena please" [bhaiya please gimme one packet of chana}

Khushi was driving when her thoughts went back to the fight with Arnav. After thinking about it so many times she realised that it has been all her fault tonight.. If she hadn't lost her temper then the fight wouldn't have gone so big... Man I just hate my life ... Why do I always end up hurting people? I should have said sorry and instead I yelled at him more...
WHY THE HECK AM I THINKING LIKE KHUSHI AGAIN..? NO WAY I'LL BE THE NAIVE KHUSHI OR THE JOLLY KHUSHI... KHUSHI GUPTA NEVER APOLOGIZES AND ANYWAYS I AM NEVER GONNA MEET THAT GUY AGAIN SO WHO CARES !!! Her chain of thoughts were broken when the car suddenly stopped moving. She quickly turned all four indicators of her car and got out of the car to check what the problem was.
WHAT THE F!! SHIT SHIT SHIT THE FRONT TYRE IS FLAT... AB KYA KARUN? MOM DAD MUST BE SLEEPING AND PAYAL'S HAVING A SLEEP OVER WITH HER FRIEND... I CANT ASK DAD FOR HELP AS I DONT WANNA DISTURB HIS SLEEP; HE'S GOT AN EARLY CONFERENCE TOMORO... WAIT I'LL CALL HARIPRAKASH ... [the phone kept ringing but nobody picked it up] WHAT THE HELL... THESE SERVANTS ARE OF NO USE...

Arnav was walking on the same road as Khushi; his eyes fell on the car and then the owner. He walked upto her and saw that her car was broken. ACCHA HUA ISKE SAATH...DEKHA AGARKISIKA BURA KARO TO DEVI MAIYAA TO ZAROOR SAZA DETI HAI...
Khushi saw him and was a bit happy and then her rude behaviour reminded her that there's no way that Arnav will help her. She felt guilty and was not able to talk to him. She saw him looking at the car very carefully...
Arnav didn't wanna help her but he couldn't just walk away as it was quite late and unsafe; leaving his anger and ego aside he asked;
"Can you open the boot of your car?"
Khushi was shocked... How can he still help her out when all she has done is hurt him...
"Hello earth to Miss Gupta" [Arnav started waving his hands in front of her. Khushi came back to reality and gave him the keys]
Arnav took the spare tyre out of the boot and replaced it with the flat one using steppanie. The car was fixed in next five minutes. Khushi thought that she should apologize to him as he was so nice and helpful.
"Wo I 'i-i"
"Your car is fixed but just get it serviced incase if it needs to be fixed...and here are your car keys [he handed her the car keys and was about to walk away when khushi called him again. He looked back at her;
"Kamsekam ab to mujh par mat chillao" (Atleast don't yell at me now)
"Wo I-I-Wan-t-ed to s-s-say" [Arnav cut her in]
"Please ab mat kuch kehna kyunki or bazeati sahene ki mujheme himmat nahi hai"
[Khushi felt really bad for her behaviour and for once she decided to keep her ego aside and to apologize properly; she held both of her ears]
"I am really sorry Arnav and I mean it seriously ... Please forgive me for my rude behaviour"
Arnav melted by this act of her. Her apology seemed so natural and pure... How could he not forgive her? He held her hands and said;
"It's okay Miss Gupta no big deal. Mere liye yahi badi baat hai ki apko apki galti ka ehsaas ho gaya"
[eye lock and Rabba Vee in background]
"How can you be so nice?" [Khushi asked him]
"I dunno maybe because there's a lot more to do in life then hating someone or being angry"
"I wish I could be like you" [Khushi said it in an instant without realising what she's saying]
"Matlab" (meaning) [ he asked ]
"Nothing" [she realised her mistake and quickly changed the topic]; "Where's your car?"
"Oh my driver picked it up as i wanted to walk home"
"What why do you want to walk home this late?" [Khushi asked]
"Whenever I am sad I like to walk" [Khushi again felt bad and said]'
"I'll drop you"
